Tao-tale
A farmer lived in a village in China. One day his horse broke the rope and ran away. His neighbors came to his house and expressed their regret. The farmer remained silent.
The horse came back the next day and brought three more wild horses with him. The neighbors of the farmer came and expressed happiness. That farmer remained calm even then.
Two days later, the farmer’s only son broke his leg while trying to ride a wild horse. Neighbors expressed sympathy on this. But the farmer remained unaffected by this also; Because to him every decision of God seemed beneficial.
The next morning army officers came to the village and forcibly recruited all the young boys of the village into the army. That farmer’s son was saved from being admitted because of a broken leg.
No one knows what is good for us. and what’s worse? Only God the Father knows what is good for us.
