In the time of Confucius in China, two Chinese opened a shop face to face, a hotel. One was named Yin and the other was named Yang; Both of them opened shops. The shops of both started doing well, they started running very loudly. Money started accumulating, the vault started filling. But the sorrow of both of them also started getting bigger, as it often happens. Don’t know what kind of deep sadness starts coming with success. Because you are not successful alone, others are also being successful.

Both got upset. Both the shops are doing well. There is commotion. Lots of customers come. But both got upset. The heart pressure of both increased. Both of them lost their sleep. Caught insomnia. Both started visiting doctors, but could not find any way out. Money kept increasing and restlessness kept increasing.

The uneasiness was that both used to sit at their respective counters and count the number of customers entering the other’s shop. Used to worry at night that so many customers were missed; He could also come to himself.

Doctors said that we will not be able to cure you, because this disease is not physical. You go to Confucius. He said, what would Confucius do in this? He will preach. Nothing is going to happen by preaching. The question is actually that there are a lot of customers going to other’s shop, and we see them. Can’t close your eyes. There is a shop in front. Chest hurts. Every time a man enters, then the chest gets hurt. What will happen if you don’t sleep? Nevertheless, the physicians said,

You go to Confucius. That man is smart And He knows the deepest ills of man.

They both went. Confucius told the trick and it worked and both became healthy. It was a very funny idea. Hardly any other clever man on this earth has ever told such a trick.

Confucius said, you are crazy. There is a very simple treatment. Let the shops run, you start sitting on each other’s counter. Yin sat on Yang’s counter, Yang sat on Yin’s counter, Then both of you will be very happy. Those who are entering other’s shop, they are entering their own shop! You do this

And it is said that both of them did this and from that day all their diseases ended. They used to sit and enjoy the whole day or not! Lots of people are going to your shop! That other’s shop has now become our own. The day someone peeps into God, that day all the shops become his own, everything becomes his own.

There is no end to the gaiety within on that day. On that day flowers bloom from within. The thousand-petalled flower blossoms within on that day, because on that day we sit in supreme bliss. All are ours. Everything is mine. The whole universe is ours. Osho; Geeta Darshan Part-3–Chapter- 7
