भजन का प्रभाव

जीभ से निरन्तर भगवान्का नाम लीजिये
भगवान ने कहा है–‘सभी धर्मों का आश्रय छोड़कर केवल एकमात्र मेरी शरणमें चले आओ। फिर मैं तुम्हें सब पापों से मुक्त कर दूँगा, तुम चिन्ता मत करो।’

सर्वधर्मान् परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज।
अहं त्वा सर्वपापेभ्यो मोक्षयिष्यामि मा शुचः।
(गीता १८/६६) मन की कैसी भी अवस्था क्यों न हो, कोई परवा नहीं। केवल जीभ से निरन्तर भगवान का नाम लीजिये, फिर सारी जिम्मेवारी भगवान् सँभाल लेंगे। केवल जीभ से नाम-स्मरण--और कोई शर्त नहीं। चाहे मन लगे या न लगे, यदि भगवान का नाम जीभ से निरन्तर लेने लग जाइयेगा, तो फिर न तो कोई शंका उठेगी, न कोई चाह रहेगी। थोड़े ही दिनों में शान्ति का अनुभव करने लगियेगा। इससे सरल उपाय कोई नहीं है। पूर्व के पापों के कारण नाम लेने की इच्छा नहीं होती। एक बार हठ से निरन्तर नाम लेने का नियम लेकर ४-६ महीने बैठ जायेंगे, तो फिर किसी से कुछ भी पूछने की जरूरत नहीं रहेगी। स्वयं सत्य वस्तु का प्रकाश मिलने लगेगा, संदेह मिटने लगेंगे। इस प्रकार जिस दिन भजन करते-करते सर्वथा शुद्ध होकर भगवान को चाहियेगा उसी क्षण भगवान से मिलकर कृतार्थ हो जाइयेगा। पहले ऐसा कीजिये कि कम-से-कम बोलकर जरूरी-जरूरी काम सलटा लीजिये, बाकीका समय पूरा-का पूरा जीभ से नाम लेते हुए बिताइये। यह आसानी से हो सकता है। करना नहीं चाहियेगा तो उसकी कोई दवा होनी बड़ी कठिन है। यदि मनुष्य भजन करना चाहे जरूर कर सकता है। यदि कोई कहता है--'हमसे भजन नहीं होता' तो समझ लीजिये कि सचमुच वह भजन करना चाहता नहीं। आपके चाहने पर भजन अवश्य हो सकता है। बिना परिश्रम ही सब हो जायगा। यह कलियुग है, मन लगना बड़ा ही कठिन है। बिरले ऐसे होते हैं, जिनका मन सचमुच भगवान में लग गया हो। पर यदि कोई जीभ से नाम लेने लगे तो फिर बिना मन लगे ही अन्त तक अवश्य कल्याण हो जायगा।जय श्री राम

continuously chant the name of God with the tongue God has said – ‘Leaving the shelter of all religions, come and take refuge in me alone. Then I will free you from all your sins, don’t you worry.’

Forsake all religions and take refuge in Me alone. I will save you from all your sins, do not grieve. (Gita 18/66) No matter what the state of mind. Just take the name of God constantly with your tongue, then God will take care of all the responsibility. Only tongue-in-cheek name-remembrance–no more conditions. Whether you like it or not, if you start taking the name of God with your tongue constantly, then there will be no doubt, no desire. You will begin to experience peace in a few days. There is no simpler solution. There is no desire to take the name because of past sins. Once you stubbornly take the rule of continuous naming and sit for 4-6 months, then you will not need to ask anyone for anything. The truth itself will begin to shine, doubts will begin to disappear. Thus, the day you are completely purified while doing bhajan, you will be grateful to meet God at the same moment. First, do it so that you can at least talk and get the necessary things done, and spend the rest of the time taking the name with your whole tongue. This can easily happen. If you don’t want to do it, it’s very hard to have a cure for it. If a man wants to do bhajan, he can do it. If someone says, ‘We don’t have bhajans,’ then he doesn’t really want to sing. You can have a hymn if you want. It will all be done without effort. This is Kali Yuga, it is very difficult to mind. There are rarely any whose minds are truly set on God. But if one starts taking the name with the tongue, then without mind, welfare will surely come to the end. Jai Shri Ram
