बहूत सुंदर लीला है राधा कृष्ण की (जिसके हृदय में श्रीकृष्ण का दिव्यप्रेम है, वही श्री राधा के प्रेम को समझ सकता है; सभी लोग नहीं।)
ग्वालिनी कृष्ण दरस सों अटकी।
बार बार पनघट पर आवति, सिर जमुना जल मटकी॥
मनमोहन को रूप सुधानिधि, पिवत प्रेमरस गटकी।
कृष्णदास धन धन्य राधिका, लोकलाज सब पटकी॥
उन्मादिनी-सी वृषभानुकिशोरी श्रीराधा सिर पर स्वर्णकलसी लिए घर से पनघट और पनघट से घर, न जाने कितनी बार आयीं और गयी; बार-बार उनके नेत्र यमुनातट पर कदम्ब की शीतल छाया में त्रिभंगी मुद्रा में खड़े नंदनंदन के रूप का पान करते नहीं थकती थी।
व्रज में वृषभानुकिशोरी श्रीराधा और व्रजेंद्रनंदन श्रीकृष्ण के मिलन की चर्चा चारों ओर फैल गई।
व्रजगोपियों को तो यह सुनकर आनंद होता था किंतु व्रज में दो स्रियां ऐसी थीं जिनके मन में यह मिलन शूल की तरह चुभता था।
वे दोनों मां-बेटी अपने को अनुसूइया और सावित्री की तरह सती मानती थीं और वृषभानुदुलारी श्रीराधा के चरित्र पर संदेह करती थीं!
वे दोनों यह नहीं जानती थीं कि जगत के भूत, वर्तमान और भविष्य का सारा सतीत्व श्रीकिशोरीजी की सत्ता पर टिका हुआ है।
वे जानतीं भी कैसे; भगवान की लीलाओं की सूत्रधार योगमाया उन्हें यह जानने ही नहीं दे रही थी।
यदि वे दोनों किशोरीजी के स्वरूप को जान लेतीं तो फिर भगवान अपनी लीला का माधुर्य जगत में कैसे बिखेरते?
श्रीकृष्णप्रेम में लोकनिंदा का पात्र बनीं श्रीराधा:-
श्रीराधा का जीवन कृष्णमय था, तत्सुखसुखित्वम्–प्रियतम श्रीकृष्ण के सुख में ही अपना सुख मानना।’
किशोरीजी के मन पर इस लोकनिंदा का तिलमात्र भी प्रभाव नहीं था। कोई उनसे प्रश्न करता तो वे केवल रो देतीं और कुछ कह नहीं पातीं।
इन्हीं दोनों स्त्रियों के कारण किशोरीजी का उदाहरण देकर व्रजसुंदरियों की सासें उनसे कहतीं कि तुम को यमुना में नहाने में इतनी देर कैसे हो गयी?
व्रज जिसका उपहास करता है, तुम उस राधा का संग करती हो।
वह तो बड़े बाप की बेटी है, यह सब उन्हीं को अच्छा लगता है, तुम लोगों को यह जगत का उपालम्भ (ताना) सहा नहीं जाएगा:-
कब की गई न्हान तुम जमुना, यह कहि कहि रिस पावै।
राधा कौ तुम संग करति हौ, ब्रज उपहास उड़ावै॥
वा है बड़े महर की बेटी, तौ ऐसी कहवावै।
सुनहु सूर यह उनहीं भावै, ऐसे कहति डरावै॥
जिसके हृदय में श्रीकृष्ण का दिव्यप्रेम है, वही श्रीराधा के प्रेम को समझ सकता है; सभी लोग नहीं।
वृषभानुनन्दिनी की आलोचना जब सीमा का उल्लंघन कर गयी तब भगवान श्रीकृष्ण की योगमाया ने जान लिया कि उसे अब किस लीला का आयोजन करना है, और शुरु हो गया भगवान का लीलामाधुर्य।
श्रीकृष्ण स्वयं बने रोगी और वैद्य:-
एक दिन नंदरानी ने देखा कि उनका प्राणधन नीलमणि गोशाला में मूर्च्छित पड़ा है।
वे गोशाला की ओर चीखती हुई दौड़ीं–‘हाय राम! मेरे नीलमणि को क्या हो गया?’
श्रीकृष्ण के सखाओं ने रोते हुए बताया कि कन्हैया नाचते हुए बेहोश होकर गिर पड़े।
श्रीकृष्ण के अंग तेज ज्वर से तप रहे थे, नाड़ी भी द्रुतगति से चल रही थी और नेत्र ऐसे बंद थे मानो गर्मी से मुरझाकर खिला कमल बंद हो गया हो।
व्रजराज नंद ने गोकुल के आसपास सब जगह ड्योंढ़ी पिटवा दी कि जो वैद्य व्रजेंद्रनंदन श्रीकृष्ण को स्वस्थ कर देगा उसे मुंहमांगा पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा।
कुछ समय बाद सघन वन की तरफ से अद्वितीय तेज से युक्त एक नवयुवक वैद्य आया।
आश्चर्य! उस वैद्य का रूप-लावण्य नंदनंदन के समान था।
उसे देखकर यशोदाजी के मुख से सहसा निकल पड़ा–’बेटा! नीलमणि!’ फिर अपने आपको संभालकर बोली–’वैद्यराज, मेरे प्राणधन नीलमणि को आप स्वस्थ कर देंगे न, कितनी देर से मेरा पुत्र मूर्छित है।
आप जो मांगेंगे वह पुरस्कार मैं आपको दूंगी।’ वैद्यराज ने व्रजेश्वरी यशोदा से कहा–’जैसा मैं कहता हूँ वैसा ही करो।’
वैद्यराज ने श्रीकृष्ण के रोग की अनोखी दवा बतायी;-
तरुण वैद्य ने एक कलसी (गागर) मंगाकर स्वर्ण कील से उसमें सैंकड़ों छेद कर दिए।
फिर अपनी झोली से कैंची निकालकर श्रीकृष्ण के केशों की एक लट काट ली और एक-एक केश जोड़कर क्षणभर में ही केशों की एक लम्बी पतली डोर बना ली।
उसे लेकर वह यमुनातट पर गए, केशडोर के एक छोर को तमालवृक्ष से बांध दिया और डोर के दूसरे छोर को यमुनाजी के दूसरी पार स्थित तमालवृक्ष से बांध दिया।। इतना सब करके वैद्यराज व्रजेश्वरी यशोदा से बोले:-
’उपाय यह है कि कोई सती स्त्री श्रीकृष्ण के केशों से बनी इस डोर पर चलती हुई यमुनाजी के उस पार तीन बार जाए और लौट कर आए; फिर इस छिद्रयुक्त कलसी में यमुनाजल लाकर श्रीकृष्ण पर छिड़के तो उनकी चेतना वापिस आ जाएगी।’
यशोदाजी ने अपना माथा पकड़ लिया–’क्या व्रज में ऐसी कोई सती है जो ऐसा साहस कर सके?!’
वैद्य ने कहा–’व्रजरानी सती की महिमा अपार है, सच्ची सती शून्य में भी चल सकती है, आकाश में जल स्थिर कर सकती है, फिर व्रज तो सतियों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है।’
निराश होकर व्रजरानी स्वयं कलसी भरने चलीं पर वैद्यराज ने उन्हें रोकते हुए कहा:-’मैं जानता हूँ कि आप इस छिद्रवाली कलसी में जल ला सकती हैं; परंतु तुम्हारे कुल से अलग किसी अन्य स्त्री के हाथ से जल आना चाहिए।’
वैद्यराज ने गोपियों की ओर देखा परंतु गोपियों ने कहा– ’वैद्यराज! हम तो श्यामकलंकिनी हैं, हमारे द्वारा लाए गए जल से श्रीकृष्ण चैतन्य नहीं होंगे।
कोऊ कहे कुलटा कुलीन-अकुलीन कोऊ।
रीति-नीति जग से बनाये सब न्यारी हौं॥
तब यशोदाजी ने व्रजप्रसिद्ध सती–उन दोनों मां-बेटी से जल लाने की प्रार्थना की।
दोनों बड़े गर्व से इठलाती हुई कलसी भरने चलीं, जैसे ही बेटी ने श्रीकृष्णकेश की डोरी पर पैर रखा, वह टूट कर यमुनाजल में नाचने लगी।
मानो कह रही हो–वृषभानुनन्दिनी की निंदा करने वाली को मैं उस पार नहीं ले जाऊंगी।
डोरी टूटने से वह श्रीराधानिंदक यमुना की लहरों में डूबने लगी।
यमुनाजी भी रोष में उसे डुबो देना चाहतीं थीं पर व्रजवासियों ने उसे बचा लिया।
वैद्यराज ने पुन: श्रीकृष्णकेश से डोरी तैयार की, इस बार वृद्धा की परीक्षा थी।
परंतु जो दशा बेटी की हुई वही उसकी जननी की भी हुई।
सिर नीचा कर वे वैद्यराज से बोलीं–‘यदि हम जल नहीं ला सके तो सतियों में श्रेष्ठ पार्वती भी इस विधान से जल नहीं ला सकतीं।
यशोदाजी रोने लगीं–’हाय दईया, मेरे नीलमणि का क्या होगा?’
व्रज की परम सती श्रीराधा:-
तब वैद्यराज ज्योतिषगणना का नाटक करने लगे और व्रजेश्वरी से बोले–’व्रज में एक परम सती है।
उन सती की चरण-रज से सारा संसार पावन होगा। उनका नाम ‘राधा’ है, उन्हें बुलाओ।’
श्रीराधा को इस घटना का पता नही था, वह वृषभानुमहल के एकान्त में श्रीकृष्ण-चिंतन में लीन होकर अश्रुपूर्ण नेत्रों से पुष्पों की माला गूंथ रही थीं और अपने प्रियतम को अपने हृदय की बात सुना रही थी:-
‘इस त्रिभुवन में तुम्हारे अतिरिक्त मेरा और कौन है ? ‘राधा’ कहकर मुझे पुकारने वाला तुम्हारे सिवा और कोई भी तो नहीं है।
इस गोकुल में कौन है जिसे मैं अपना कहूँ। सब जगह ज्वाला है एकमात्र तुम्हारे चरणकमल ही शीतल हैं; मुझे इन शीतल चरणों में स्थान दे दो। मेरे स्पर्शमणि! तुम्हें ही तो मैं अपने अंगों का भूषण बनाकर गले में धारण करती हूं।’
श्रीराधा को देखकर यमुनाजी हुईं आनंदविभोर:-
अब तीन बार किशोरीजी केशसेतु पर इस पार से उस पार हो आईं फिर सहस्त्र छिद्रों वाली कलसी को यमुनाजल से भरकर सिर पर रखा और गोशाला की ओर चल पड़ीं।
देवतागण आकाश से तो पुष्पवर्षा कर ही रहे थे, गोप और गोपियों ने इतनी पुष्पवर्षा की कि गोकुल का सारा पथ ही पुष्पमय हो गया।
श्रीराधा ने यमुनाजल से भरी कलसी ले जाकर वैद्यराज के सामने रख दी।
वैद्यराज ने सजल नेत्रों से श्रीराधा से कहा–’तुम्हीं अपने पवित्र हस्तकमलों से एक अंजलि जल नंदनंदन के मुख पर छिड़क दो।’ जैसे ही किशोरीजी ने श्रीकृष्ण के मुख पर जल छिड़का, वे ऐसे उठकर बैठ गए मानो सोकर उठे हों;-
जै जै श्री राधे। जै श्री कृष्ण।
बोलिये लाड़ली सरकार की जय!!

Crazy Vrishbhanukishori Shriradha carrying a golden pot on her head, went from house to house and went from house to house, don’t know how many times she came and went; Again and again his eyes did not get tired of beholding the form of Nandanandan standing in tribhangi posture under the cool shade of Kadamba on the banks of the Yamuna.
The discussion of the union of Vrishabhanukishori Shriradha and Vrajendranandan Shri Krishna in Vraj spread everywhere.
Vrajgopis used to be happy to hear this, but there were two women in Vraj whose mind was pricked by this meeting like colic.
Both mother and daughter considered themselves as satis like Anusuiya and Savitri and Vrishabhanudulari doubted the character of Shriradha!
Both of them did not know that the entire chastity of the past, present and future of the world rests on the power of Shri Kishoriji.
She knew how; Yogmaya, the source of God’s pastimes, was not letting him know this at all.
If both of them knew the form of Kishoriji, then how would God spread the sweetness of His pastimes in the world?
Shriradha became an object of public condemnation in Shri Krishna’s love: –
Shriradha’s life was Krishnamay, Tatsukhsukhitvam-Considering our happiness only in the happiness of beloved Shri Krishna.
Kishoriji’s mind was not even affected by this censure. If someone would question her, she would only cry and could not say anything.
Because of these two women, giving the example of Kishoriji, the mother-in-law of the Vrajsundaris used to tell them that why did it take so long for you to bathe in the Yamuna?
You associate with Radha who is ridiculed by Vraj.
She is the daughter of the elder father, he likes all this, you people will not tolerate this taunt of the world:-
When did you take a bath, Jamuna, it got wet somewhere.
Radha, who do you do with you, Braj is ridiculed.
Oh, she is the daughter of a big Mahar, so you make her say like this.
Listen to the tune, it is only those feelings, it is scary to say like this.
One who has the divine love of Sri Krishna in his heart, only he can understand the love of Sri Radha; Not all people.
When the criticism of Vrishabhanunandini crossed the limit, then Lord Krishna’s Yogmaya knew which leela she had to organize now, and the Lord’s lilamadhurya began.
Shri Krishna himself became patient and doctor:-
One day Nandrani saw that his Pranadhan was lying unconscious in Neelmani Goshala.
She ran towards the cowshed shouting- ‘Hi Ram! What happened to my sapphire?’
The friends of Shri Krishna told while crying that Kanhaiya fell unconscious while dancing.
Shri Krishna’s organs were burning with high fever, his pulse was also running fast and his eyes were closed as if a lotus blossomed after withering from the heat.
Vrajraj Nand got people everywhere around Gokul saying that the doctor who heals Vrajendranandan Shri Krishna would be given the coveted prize.
After some time, a young doctor with unique sharpness came from the dense forest.
Wonder! The beauty of that doctor was like Nandanandan.
Seeing him suddenly came out of Yashodaji’s mouth – ‘ Son! Neelmani!’ Then controlling herself, she said – ‘Vaidyaraj, will you make my life-dhan Neelmani healthy, for how long my son has been unconscious.
I will give you whatever you ask for.’ Vaidyaraj said to Vrajeshwari Yashoda – ‘Do as I say.’
Vaidyaraj told the unique medicine for Shri Krishna’s disease;-
Tarun Vaidya asked for a pitcher (Gagar) and made hundreds of holes in it with a golden nail.
Then, taking out scissors from his pocket, he cut a lock of Shri Krishna’s hair and joined each and every hair to make a long thin string of hair in a moment.
Taking it, he went to the bank of the Yamuna, tied one end of the string to a tamal tree and tied the other end of the string to a tamal tree on the other side of the Yamuna. Having done all this, Vaidyaraj Vrajeshwari said to Yashoda:-
‘ The solution is that a Sati woman walking on this thread made of Shri Krishna’s hair goes across Yamunaji three times and returns; Then, after bringing Yamuna water in this perforated pot and sprinkling it on Shri Krishna, his consciousness will come back.’
Yashodaji held her forehead – ‘Is there any Sati in Vraj who can dare like this?!’
Vaidya said-‘Vrajrani Sati’s glory is immense, true Sati can run even in zero, can stabilize water in the sky, then Vraj is famous for satis.’
Frustrated, Vrajrani herself went to fill the pot, but Vaidyaraj stopped her and said:- ‘I know that you can bring water in this pot with holes; But water should come from the hands of some other woman apart from your clan.
Vaidyaraj looked at the gopis but the gopis said – ‘Vaidyaraj! We are Shyamkalkini, the water brought by us will not make Shri Krishna conscious.
Who says kulta kulta-kuleen kou.
The customs and policies are made from the world, everyone is unique.
Then Yashodaji prayed to bring water from both mother and daughter, the famous Sati of Vraj.
Both proudly went to fill the pot, as soon as the daughter stepped on the string of Shrikrishnakesh, she broke down and started dancing in Yamuna water.
As if you are saying – I will not take the one who criticizes Vrishabhanunandini to the other side.
When the string broke, she started drowning in the waves of Shriradhanindak Yamuna.
Yamunaji also wanted to drown him in anger but Vrajvasis saved him.
Vaidyaraj again prepared a string from Shrikrishnakesh, this time the old woman was tested.
But what happened to the daughter, the same happened to her mother.
Lowering her head, she said to Vaidyaraj – ‘If we could not bring water, then even Parvati, the best among satis, could not bring water by this method.
Yashodaji started crying – ‘Hey Daiya, what will happen to my sapphire?’
Supreme Sati Shriradha of Vraj: –
Then Vaidyaraj started pretending to calculate astrology and said to Vrajeshwari – ‘ There is a supreme sati in Vraj.
The whole world will be purified by the feet of that Sati. Her name is ‘Radha’, call her.’
Shriradha was not aware of this incident, she was weaving garlands of flowers with tearful eyes in the solitude of Vrishabhanumahal, engrossed in Shri Krishna-contemplation and was telling her heart to her beloved:-
Who is mine other than you in this Tribhuvan? There is no one except you who calls me ‘Radha’.
Who is there in this Gokul whom I can call my own? There is fire everywhere, only your lotus feet are cool; Give me a place in these cool feet. My Touchstone! I wear you around my neck by making my body an ornament.
Yamunaji was overjoyed to see Shriradha:-
Now three times Kishoriji crossed the Keshasetu from this side to the other side, then filled the pot with thousands of holes with Yamuna water and put it on her head and started walking towards the cowshed.
The deities were showering flowers from the sky, the gopas and gopis showered so many flowers that the entire path of Gokul became full of flowers.
Shriradha took a pot full of Yamuna water and placed it in front of Vaidyaraj.
Vaidyaraj said to Shriradha with beautiful eyes – ‘You yourself sprinkle a little Anjali water on Nandanandan’s face with your holy palms.’ As soon as Kishoriji sprinkled water on Shri Krishna’s face, he sat up as if he had woken up from sleep;-
Jai Jai Shri Radhe. Jai Shri Krishna.
