भारत में कई चमत्कारिक व दिव्य मंदिर हैं
इन मंदिरों में अलग-अलग चमत्कार और अद्भुत चीज़ें व बातें होती रहती हैं, जो किसी को भी चकित कर देती हैं।
ऐसा ही एक माता रानी दुर्गा का मंदिर भी है. जिसके लिए कहा जाता है कि इस मंदिर की मूर्ति से आज भी दुर्गा माता बाहर निकली हैं और आस-पास विचरण करती हैं।
यह मंदिर छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य के चैतुरगढ़ नामक स्थान पर पहाड़ियों पर बना है. चैतुरगढ़ कोरबा के अंतर्गत पाली विकासखंड के घने जंगल व पहाड़ियों के बीच बसा हुआ स्थान है
चैतुरगढ़ की पहाड़ी पर माता रानी दुर्गा का मंदिर स्थित है. यह मंदिर नागर शैली द्वारा बनाया गया है।
इस मंदिर में बारह भुजाओं वाली माता दुर्गा की महिषासुर मर्दिनी स्वरुप में मूर्ति स्थापित है. इस मंदिर में स्थापित यह अनोखी प्रतिमा ही इसे अत्यंत अद्धभुत बनाती है. इस मंदिर की मूर्ति की आँखों में लगातार देखने से इसकी पलकों के झपकने का अनुभव होता है।
कोरबा ज़िले से 90 किमी की दूरी पर स्थित इस अद्भुत जगह में चैतुरगढ़ का किला भी स्थापित है. यह किला कल्चुरी युग यानि 1069 शताब्दी का है. इस स्थान के राजा जाजल्व देव और विक्रमादित्य थे।
चैतुरगढ़ में 9वीं शताब्दी में विक्रमादित्य द्वितीय द्वारा बनवाया गया शिव मंदिर भी प्रसिद्ध है. वर्तमान समय में इन राजाओं का 5 वर्ग की.मी. में फैला यह किला खंडहर में बदल चुका है।
इस मंदिर की सीढ़ियां भी हैं बहुत विशेष हैं. इस मंदिर में जाने के लिए खतरनाक रास्तों से होकर गुजरना पड़ता है. जंगल के बीचो-बीच बसे इस मंदिर में सीढ़ियों से चढ़कर जाना पड़ता है।
इन सीढ़ियों की विशेष बात यह है कि अगर माता रानी किसी को अपने मंदिर में प्रवेश नहीं देना चाहती, तो वह इंसान इन सीढियों से चढ़ नहीं पाता और मज़बूरी वश वापस लौट जाता है।
माता रानी के कई भक्तों की माने तो उन्होंने अपनी आंखों से माता रानी को विचरण करते हुए देखा है. हालांकि इस मंदिर के पूजारी और साधुओं के बारे में कहा जाता है कि वो लोग कोई साधारण इंसान नहीं है बल्कि अमीर घरों से हैं और इन्ही लोगों का कहना है कि उन्होंने माता रानी को मूर्ति से बाहर आकर विचरण करते हुए देखा है।
यह मंदिर जिस स्थान पर बना हुआ है, उसका जगह का दृश्य भी दिव्य और अद्भुत है. मंदिर के पास कमल से भरा हुआ तालाब है साथ ही ऋषियों का आश्रम भी है।
आप भी माता दुर्गा के साक्षात दर्शन करना चाहते हैं, तो इस मंदिर में एक बार जरुर जाएं. क्योकि कहा जाता है कि इस मंदिर की मूर्ति से हर रोज़ माता दुर्गा बाहर निकलती हैं।

There is also a similar temple of Mata Rani Durga. For which it is said that even today Durga Mata has come out of the idol of this temple and wanders around.
This temple is built on the hills at a place called Chaiturgarh in Chhattisgarh state. Chaiturgarh is a place situated amidst dense forest and hills of Pali development block under Korba.

In this temple, the idol of Goddess Durga with twelve arms is installed in the form of Mahishasura Mardini. This unique statue installed in this temple makes it extremely amazing. By continuously looking into the eyes of the idol of this temple, one experiences the blinking of its eyelids.
Chaiturgarh Fort is also established in this wonderful place located at a distance of 90 km from Korba district. This fort belongs to the Kalchuri era i.e. 1069 century. The kings of this place were Jajalva Dev and Vikramaditya.
The Shiva temple built by Vikramaditya II in the 9th century in Chaiturgarh is also famous. At present these kings have an area of 5 sq.km. This fort spread over 100,000 acres has turned into ruins.
The stairs of this temple are also very special. To reach this temple one has to pass through dangerous roads. Situated in the middle of the forest, one has to climb stairs to reach this temple.
The special thing about these stairs is that if Mata Rani does not want anyone to enter her temple, then that person is not able to climb these stairs and is forced to return back.
According to many devotees of Mata Rani, they have seen Mata Rani wandering with their own eyes. However, it is said about the priests and sadhus of this temple that they are not ordinary people but are from rich families and these people say that they have seen Mata Rani coming out of the idol and wandering around.
The view of the place where this temple is built is also divine and amazing. Near the temple there is a pond filled with lotus and there is also an ashram of sages.
