कभी-कभी यह भ्रम सहज रूप से मन में आता है कि जो जगत मुझे चारों ओर प्रत्यक्ष दिखाई दे रहा है, वही सत्य है। आख़िर जो अनुभव में है, वह कैसे असत्य हो सकता है? किन्तु वेद वाणी स्मरण कराती है कि
जो दिखाई दे रहा है, वह केवल रूप है और रूप सदा परिवर्तनशील होता है। जो नहीं दिखता, वही शाश्वत है वही उसका आधार है।
यह दृश्य जगत तो परमात्मा की शक्ति का विस्तार मात्र है। रूप बदलते रहते हैं, नाम भी बदलते हैं, लेकिन उनके पीछे जो चेतना, जो सत्ता है, वह अडोल है, अविनाशी है वही सत्य है।
जब परमात्मा एक से अनेक बना, तब उसके ऐश्वर्य के रूप में पाँच मूलभूत तत्व प्रकट हुए आकाश, वायु, अग्नि, जल और पृथ्वी। यही तत्व प्रकृति का ताना-बाना हैं, परंतु यदि इन्हें केवल भौतिक पदार्थ समझा जाए तो इनकी साधना में प्रवेश नहीं हो सकता।
इन तत्वों को यदि हम अपने भीतर देखें तो ये केवल बाहर नहीं, हमारे अंतर में भी हैं।
पृथ्वी तत्व हमारे भीतर की जड़ता, अज्ञान और अहंकार का रूप है – वह जो भारी बनाता है, जमी हुई धारणाओं से बांधता है।
जल तत्व हमारी सुख की आकांक्षा, कामना और आकर्षण है जो हमें बंधन में डालती है।
अग्नि तत्व वह प्रकाश है जो बुद्धि बनकर जड़ता और तृष्णा को पहचानता है, उन्हें जलाता है।
वायु तत्व वह चंचल प्रवृत्ति है जो चित्त में उठने वाले भावों के पीछे दौड़ती रहती है।
और आकाश तत्व वह व्यापकता है जिसमें ये सभी घटते-बढ़ते हैं वही आत्मा का साक्षी रूप है, वही विवेक है।
जब साधक इस गूढ़ तत्व-ज्ञान को समझने लगता है, तब वह जानता है कि रूपों में अटकना स्वयं को खो देना है। उसे केवल परिवर्तनशीलता नहीं देखनी, बल्कि रूप के पीछे स्थित अपरिवर्तनीय सत्ता का अनुभव करना है वही आत्मा है, वही ब्रह्म है।
वैराग्य और विवेक जानना ही नहीं, मानना भी
सत्य को जानना पर्याप्त नहीं है। उसे मन से मानना अपने जीवन की कसौटी पर उतारना यही विवेक है।
जब मन इस सत्य को स्वीकार करता है कि

What is visible is only form and the form is always variable. What is not visible, it is eternal, it is his basis.
This visual world is just an extension of the power of God. The form keeps changing, names change, but the consciousness behind them, the power, is adol, it is indestructible.
When God became many to many, then five fundamental elements appeared in the form of his opulence, air, fire, water and earth. These elements are the fabric of nature, but if they are considered only physical substances, then they cannot enter the practice.
If we see these elements within ourselves, then they are not only outside, but also in our difference.
The Earth element is the form of inertia, ignorance and ego within us – the one who makes heavy, binds with frozen perceptions.
Water elements are the desire, desire and attraction of our happiness that puts us into bondage.
The fire element is the light that burns the inertia and craving by becoming intelligence.
The air element is the fickle tendency that keeps running behind the feelings that arise in the mind.
And the sky element is the prevalence in which all these decrease and the same is the witness form of the soul, that is the conscience.
When the seeker starts to understand this esoteric element, then he knows that to lose himself in forms. It is not just to see the variability, but to experience the irreversible power located behind the form, the same is the soul, the same is Brahma.
Do not only know about quietness and discretion
It is not enough to know the truth. To consider him with heart, it is the conscience to take the test of your life.
