गोवर्धन लीला के बाद समस्त ब्रजमंडल के कृष्ण के नाम की चर्चा होने लगी, सभी ब्रजवासी कृष्ण की जय-जयकार कर रहे थे और उनकी महिमा का गान कर रहे थे।
ब्रज के गोप-गोपियों के मध्य कृष्ण की ही चर्चा थी।
एक स्थान पर कुछ गोप और गोपियाँ एकत्रित थी और यही चर्चा चल रही थी तभी एक गोप मधुमंगल बोला इसमें कृष्ण की क्या विशेषता है, यह कार्य तो हम लोग भी कर सकते है।

वहां राधा रानी की सखी ललीता भी उपस्थित थी वह तुरंत बोल उठी …

“हां हां देखी है तुम्हारी योग्यता, जब कृष्ण ने पर्वत उठाया था तो तुम सभी ने अपनी-अपनी लाठियां पर्वत के नीचे लगा थी …
और कान्हा से हाथ हठा लेने के लिए कहा था, हाथ हठाना तो दूर कान्हा ने थोड़ी से अंगुली टेढ़ी की और तुम सब की लाठियां चटाचट टूट गई थी,
तब तुम सब मिलकर यही बोले थे कान्हा तुम्ही संभालो, तब कान्हा ने ही पर्वत संभाला था”…
यह सुनकर मधुमंगल बोला “हाँ हाँ मान लिया की कान्हा ने ही संभाला, किन्तु हम ने प्रयास तो किया तुमने क्या किया “
यह सुनकर ललीता बोली ” हां हां देखी है तुम्हारे कान्हा की भी शक्ति, माना हमने कुछ नहीं किया किन्तु हमारी सखी राधारानी ने तो किया”
मधुमंगल बोला “अच्छा जी राधा रानी ने क्या करा तनिक यह तो बताओ”
ललीता ने उत्तर दिया “पर्वत तो हमारी राधारानी ने ही उठाया था, कृष्ण का तो बस नाम हो गया”
यह सुनकर सभी गोप सखा हंसने लगे और बोले “लो जी अब यह राधा रानी कहाँ से आ गई, पर्वत उठाया कान्हा ने, हाथ दुखे कान्हा के….
पूरे सात दिन एक स्थान पर खड़े रहे कान्हा, ना भूंख की चिंता ना प्यास की, ना थकान का कोई भाव, ना कोई दर्द, सब कुछ किया कान्हा ने और बीच में आ गई राधारानी”
तब ललीता बोली.. लगता है जिस समय कान्हा ने पर्वत उठाया था उस समय तुम लोग कही और थे, अन्यथा तुमको भी पता चल जाता कि पर्वत तो हमारी राधारानी ने ही उठाया था”
या सुनकर सभी गोपसखा बोले “ऐसी प्रलयकारी स्थिति में कही और जा कर हमको क्या मरना था, एक कृष्ण ही तो हम सबका आश्रय थे, जिन्होंने सबके प्राणों की रक्षा की”
ललीता बोली “तब भी तुमको यह नहीं पता चला कि पर्वत हमारी राधारानी ने उठाया था”
सभी गोपसखा बोले “हमने तो ऐसा कुछ भी नहीं देखा”
तब ललीता बोली “अच्छा यह बताओ कि कान्हा ने पर्वत किस हाथ से उठाया था”
मधुमंगल बोला “कान्हा ने तो पर्वत अपने बायें हाथ से ही उठा दिया था, दायें हाथ की तो आवश्यकता ही नहीं पड़ी”
तब ललीता बोली.. तभी तो में कहती हूँ की पर्वत हमारी राधारानी ने उठाया, कृष्ण ने नहीं, यदि कृष्ण अपनी शक्ति से पर्वत उठाते तो वह दायें हाथ से उठाते…
किन्तु उन्होंने पर्वत बायें हाथ से उठाया, क्योकि किसी भी पुरुष का दायां भाग उसका स्वयं का तथा बायाँ भाग स्त्री का प्रतीक होता है,
जब कान्हा ने पर्वत उठाया तब उन्होंने श्री राधारानी का स्मरण किया और तब पर्वत उठाया, इसी कारण उन्होंने पर्वत बाएं हाथ से उठाया,
कृष्ण के स्मरण करने पर श्री राधा रानी ने उनकी शक्ति बन कर पर्वत को धारण किया।”
अब किसी भी बालगोपाल के पास ललीता के इस तर्क का कोई उत्तर नहीं था, सभी निरुत्तर हो गए और ललीता राधे-राधे गुनगुनाती वहां से चली गई।
यह सत्य है कि राधे रानी ही भगवान श्री कृष्ण की आद्यशक्ति है, जब भी भगवान कृष्ण ने कोई विशेष कार्य किया पहले अपनी शक्ति का स्मरण किया,
श्री राधा रानी कृष्ण की शक्ति के रूप में सदा कृष्ण के साथ रही, इसलिए कहा जाता है, कि श्री कृष्ण को प्राप्त करना है तो श्रीराधा रानी को प्रसन्न करना चाहिए।
जहाँ राधा रानी होंगी वहां श्री कृष्ण स्वयं ही चले आते हैं। यही कारण है कि भक्त लोग कृष्ण से पहले राधा का नाम लेते है।

Madhumangal said, “Well, tell me what Radha Rani has done”
Lalita replied, “The mountain was raised by our Radharani, only the name of Krishna.”
Hearing this, all the gop friends started laughing and said, “Look, now where did this Radha Rani come from, Kanha raised the mountain, her hands hurt Kanha’s….
Kanha stood in one place for the whole seven days, neither worrying about hunger nor thirst, no feeling of fatigue, nor any pain, Kanha did everything and Radharani came in between.
Then Lalita said.. Looks like you were somewhere else when Kanha raised the mountain, otherwise you would have come to know that the mountain was raised by our Radharani.
Or on hearing all the gopaskha said, “In such a cataclysmic situation, what should we have to die by going somewhere else, only one Krishna was the shelter of all of us, who saved everyone’s life”
Lalita said “Even then you did not know that the mountain was raised by our Radharani.”
All the gopaskha said “we have never seen anything like this”
Then Lalita said, “Well, tell me with which hand Kanha lifted the mountain.”
Madhumangal said, “Kanha had lifted the mountain with his left hand, there was no need for his right hand.”
Then Lalita said.. That’s why I say that the mountain was raised by our Radharani, not by Krishna, if Krishna would lift the mountain with his power, he would lift it with the right hand…
But he raised the mountain with his left hand, because the right side of a man is his own and the left part is a symbol of a woman,
When Kanha raised the mountain, he remembered Shri Radharani and then raised the mountain, that is why he raised the mountain with his left hand,
On remembering Krishna, Shri Radha Rani became his power and took up the mountain.
Now none of Balagopal had any answer to this argument of Lalita, all became unanswered and Lalita left from there humming Radhe-Radhe.
It is true that Radhe Rani is the original power of Lord Shri Krishna, whenever Lord Krishna did any special work, first remembered his power,
Shri Radha Rani has always been with Krishna in the form of Krishna’s power, so it is said that to get Shri Krishna, then Shri Radha Rani should be pleased.
Where Radha is the queen, Shri Krishna himself comes there. This is the reason why devotees take the name of Radha before Krishna.
