रोते रोते माता यशोदा यमुना तट पर आई  
मुझे छोड़कर कहा चले ओ

कृष्ण गए पाताल लोक में नागिन बैठी पाई 
सोया नाग जगादे नागिन 
बोले कृष्ण कन्हाई 
गेंद देदे री नगनिया लेके मुरली

इतना सुनकर नागिन ने विषधर को दिया जगाये 
लगी फुंकार बदन हुआ काला 
चढ़े शीश पर आये 
काले पड़ गए रे कन्हैया लेके मुरली
