मेरी कुटिया में श्याम आया,
देखे इसने आंसू बहते दुःख पाउ क्यों इस के रहते,
सिर पे हाथ फिराया,
मेरी कुटिया में श्याम आया,
आंसू बहाए जग के आगे सब ने ही दुध्कारा,
हार गया तो श्याम सजन को दिल से मैंने पुकारा,
देख ना पाया रोते होइए को आके गल्ले लगाया

अब तो जीवन श्याम हवाले छोड़ दी दुनिया दारी,
दामन छोटा पड़ गया मेरा इतना दिया दातरी,
चिंता मत कर मेरे रहते श्याम ने है समजाया,
मेरी कुटिया में श्याम आया,
रहमत इनकी जब से हुई है रहती नही फिकर है,
अब तो मेरे सुख या दुःख में बाबा रखता नजर है
जो खानी भी है इनकी दया का माल खरा ना पाया
मेरी कुटिया में श्याम आया…….
