भक्तों के ह्रदय का जो भाव है, उद्गर है भगवान् में भी वह भाव और उद्गर भरा हुआ है | जब गोपियाँ परस्पर में इकट्ठी होती हैं तब प्रेम की चर्चा करती हैं | उनकी ऐसी इच्छा होती है कि हमारे शरीर का चूरा बना लिया जाय, उसके ऊपर भगवान् लेटें तो हम मुग्ध हो जायँ | आरे से लकड़ी काटने पर जो लकड़ी के कण झड़ते हैं उसे चूरा कहते हैं | चन्दन का चूरा आटे के समान महीन होता है |
शंका होती है कि जब शरीर का चूरा बन जायगा तो उस चूरे में जान तो रहेगी नहीं, मुग्ध कौन होगा ? किंतु उनका भाव यह है कि उस चूरे के अंदर भी हमारी जान कायम रहेगी | आपको मालूम होना चाहिये कि इसमें एक छोटी-सी कहानी है | वह लोकोक्ति है, कहीं ग्रन्थ की भी हो तो हमें मालूम नहीं |
एक समय की बात है | नारदजी भगवान् के परमधाम में गये | यहाँ परमधाम का मतलब द्वारकापुरी है | भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण उस समय द्वारकापुरी में वास करते थे | नारदजी ने जाकर पूछा – प्रभो ! आपको सबसे बढ़कर प्रिय कौन है ? सबसे बढ़कर किसकी भक्ति है ? उन्होंने कहा – गोपियों की | नारदजी को यह बात जँची नहीं | तदन्तर एक दिन नारदजी पुन: आये | भगवान् लेटे हुए थे |
नारदजी ने कहा – आप आज ऐसे पलँग पर क्यों सो रहे हैं ? भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण बोले – हमारी अँगुली में चोट लग गयी है | नारदजी ने कहा – महाराज ! इस घाव की पूर्ति जल्दी कैसे होगी ? भगवान् बोले – यदि प्रेमी भक्त के खून में पट्टी भिगोकर इस पर लपेटी जाय तो जल्दी आराम हो जाय | नारदजी ने कहा – अच्छा महाराज, इसके लिये मैं चेष्टा कर रहा हूँ | कृष्ण बोले – जरुर करना चाहिये |

The feeling and expression of the heart of the devotees is also filled with that feeling and expression in God. When the Gopis gather among themselves, they discuss love. They have such a desire that our body should be made into powder, if God lies on it, then we will be mesmerized. The particles of wood that fall on cutting wood with a saw are called sawdust. Sandalwood powder is as fine as flour. There is a doubt that when the body becomes dust, then life will not remain in that dust, who will be fascinated? But their feeling is that our life will remain intact even inside that dust. You should know that there is a small story in this. It is a proverb, we don’t know if it is from a book too. Once upon a time Naradji went to the supreme abode of God. Here Paramdham means Dwarkapuri. Lord Krishna used to reside in Dwarkapuri at that time. Naradji went and asked – Lord! Who is dearest to you? Whose devotion is the highest? He said – of the Gopis. Naradji did not like this. After that one day Naradji came again. God was lying down. Naradji said – Why are you sleeping on such a bed today? Lord Krishna said – Our finger has got hurt. Naradji said – Maharaj! How will this wound be healed soon? God said – If a bandage soaked in the blood of a loving devotee is wrapped on it, then it will get relief soon. Naradji said – Good Maharaj, I am trying for this.
