मनुष्य जीवनका समय बहुत मूल्यवान् है। यह बार-बार नहीं मिल सकता। इसलिये इसे उत्तरोत्तर भजन-ध्यानमें लगाना चाहिये।
मृत्यु किसीको सूचना देकर नहीं आती, अचानक ही आ जाती है। यदि भगवान्के
स्मरणके बिना ही मृत्यु हो गयी तो यह जन्म व्यर्थ ही गया। मृत्यु कब आ जाय इसका कोई भरोसा नहीं। अतः भगवान्के स्मरणका काम कभी भूलनेका नहीं।
मनुष्यको विचार करना चाहिये कि मैं कौन हूँ, क्या कर रहा हूँ और किस काम में
मुझे समय बिताना चाहिये। बुद्धिसे विचार कर वास्तव में जिसमें अपना परम हित हो, वही काम करना चाहिये।
यदि अपने आत्माका उद्धार करना हो तो सब सात पाँचको छोड़कर हर समय भगवान्का भजन करे।
भगवान्को छोड़कर और कहीं भी मनको न लगाये, जो भगवान्को छोड़कर अन्य
किसीका भक्त नहीं, वही अनन्यभक्त है।
अपनी बुद्धिसे विचार करे कि क्या करना अच्छा है और क्या करना बुरा। जो बुरा
है, उसका त्याग कर दे और जो अच्छा हो, उसके पालनमें तत्पर हो जाय।
भगवान्का भजन-साधन करनेमें यदि शरीर सूखने लगे, मृत्यु भी हो जाय तो कोई
हर्ज नहीं।
जब शरीरके लिये संग्रह किये हुए संसारके पदार्थ साथ नहीं जा सकते तब उनके लिये अपना अमूल्य समय लगाना व्यर्थ है। जगत्में जितने मनुष्य हैं, प्रायः किसीको भी अपने पूर्वजन्मका ज्ञान नहीं है। इसी प्रकार इस वर्तमान घरको छोड़कर चले जायँगे तब इसे भी भूल जायेंगे। फिर इतना परिवार और धन किसलिये इकट्ठा किया? यह हमारे क्या काम आयेगा ? जब आगे यह किसी भी काम नहीं आयेगा तब हमें चाहिये कि इस लौकिक सम्पत्तिका मोह छोड़कर दैवी सम्पत्तिका भण्डार भरें। अपने हृदयसे दुर्गुण-दुराचारोंको हटाकर सद्गुण-सदाचारोंको भर लें।
साधन न होनेमें अश्रद्धा ही प्रधान कारण है, इसको हटाना चाहिये। ईश्वरने हमको जो कुछ भी तन, मन, धन, कुटुम्ब, विद्या, बल, बुद्धि, विवेक आदि दिया है, उसे ईश्वरकी सेवामें ही लगा देना चाहिये। जिस प्रकार पतिव्रता स्त्री प्रत्येक कार्यमें पतिकी प्रसन्नताका ध्यान रखती है, इसी प्रकार हम जो भी कार्य करें, पहले विचार लें कि इससे भगवान कृष्ण प्रसन्न हैं या नहीं। वही कार्य करें, जिससे भगवान्की प्रसन्नता प्राप्त हो ।
जिस प्रकार कठपुतलीको सूत्रधार नचाता है, वैसे ही वह नाचती है। उसी प्रकार भगवान्की आज्ञाके अनुसार चलें। जैसे वे करावें, वैसे ही करें।

As many human beings are there in the world, almost no one has the knowledge of his previous birth. Similarly, if you leave this present home and go away, then you will forget this too. Then why did you collect so much family and money? What will it do for us? When this will not be of any use in the future, then we should leave the attachment of this worldly wealth and fill the store of divine wealth. Remove the vices and vices from your heart and fill the virtues and virtues.
Unbelief is the main reason for not having the means, it should be removed. Whatever God has given us, body, mind, wealth, family, education, strength, intelligence, wisdom, etc., should be used in the service of God. Just as a virtuous woman takes care of her husband’s happiness in every work, similarly whatever work we do, first consider whether Lord Krishna is pleased with it or not. Do that work which will please God.
