भरत के लिए आदर्श भाई, हनुमान के लिए स्वामी, प्रजा के लिए नीति-कुशल व न्यायप्रिय राजा, सुग्रीव व केवट के परम मित्र और सेना को साथ लेकर चलने वाले व्यक्तित्व के रूप में भगवान राम को पहचाना जाता है। उनके इन्हीं गुणों के कारण उन्हें मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम राम के नाम से पूजा जाता है।
भगवान राम विषम परिस्थितियों में भी नीति सम्मत रहे। उन्होंने वेदों और मर्यादा का पालन करते हुए सुखी राज्य की स्थापना की। स्वयं की भावना व सुखों से समझौता कर न्याय और सत्य का साथ दिया। फिर चाहे राज्य त्यागने, बाली का वध करने, रावण का संहार करने या सीता को वन भेजने की बात ही क्यों न हो।
दयालु स्वामी-
भगवान राम ने दया कर सभी को अपनी छत्रछाया में लिया। उनकी सेना में पशु, मानव व दानव सभी थे और उन्होंने सभी को आगे बढ़ने का मौका दिया। सुग्रीव को राज्य, हनुमान, जाम्बवंत व नल-नील को भी उन्होंने समय-समय पर नेतृत्व करने का अधिकार दिया।
अपने दोस्तों से निभाया करीबी रिश्ता-
केवट हो या सुग्रीव, निषादराज या विभीषण। हर जाति, हर वर्ग के मित्रों के साथ भगवान राम ने दिल से करीबी रिश्ता निभाया। दोस्तों के लिए भी उन्होंने स्वयं कई संकट झेले। इतना ही नहीं शबरी के झूठे बेर खाकर प्रभु श्रीराम ने अपने भक्त के रिश्ते की एक मिसाल कायम की।
सहनशील श्रीराम-
सहनशीलता एवं धैर्य भगवान राम का एक और गुण है। कैकेयी की आज्ञा से वन में चौदह वर्ष बिताना, समुद्र पर सेतु बनाने के लिए तपस्या करना, सीता को त्यागने के बाद राजा होते हुए भी संन्यासी की भांति जीवन बिताना उनकी सहनशीलता की पराकाष्ठा है।
त्याग और समर्पण-
भगवान राम के तीन भाई लक्ष्मण, भरत व शत्रुघ्न सौतेली मां के पुत्र थे, लेकिन उन्होंने सभी भाइयों के प्रति सगे भाई से बढ़ कर त्याग और समर्पण का भाव रखा और स्नेह दिया। यही वजह थी कि भगवान राम के वनवास के समय लक्ष्मण उनके साथ वन गए और राम की अनुपस्थिति में राजपाट मिलने के बावजूद भरत ने भगवान राम के मूल्यों को ध्यान में रखकर सिंहासन पर रामजी की चरण पादुका रख जनता को न्याय दिलाया।
कुशल प्रबंधक-
भगवान राम न केवल कुशल प्रबंधक थे, बल्कि सभी को साथ लेकर चलने वाले थे। वे सभी को विकास का अवसर देते थे व उपलब्ध संसाधनों का बेहतर उपयोग करते थे। उनके इसी गुण की वजह से लंका जाने के लिए उन्होंने व उनकी सेना ने पत्थरों का सेतु बना लिया था। ।। जय हो मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम भगवान श्रीराम ।।
Lord Rama is recognized as an ideal brother for Bharat, Swami for Hanuman, policy-skilled and judicious king for the subjects, Sugriva and the supreme friend of Sugriva and the army to take the army along. Due to his qualities, he is worshiped in the name of Maryada Purushottam Ram.
Lord Rama remained policy even in odd circumstances. He established a happy kingdom following the Vedas and dignity. By compromising his spirit and happiness, he supported justice and truth. Massive owner- Lord Rama took pity and took everyone under his umbrella. There were all animals, humans and demons in his army and they gave everyone a chance to move forward. He also gave Sugriva the right to lead from time to time to the kingdom, Hanuman, Jambavant and Nal-Nil.
Close relationship with his friends- Be it Kewat or Sugriva, Nishadraj or Vibhishan. Lord Rama, with friends of every caste, every class, played a close relationship. He himself faced many crises for friends. Not only this, Lord Shri Ram set an example of his devotee’s relationship by eating false plum of Shabari.
Tolerant Shriram- Tolerance and patience is another quality of Lord Rama. By the orders of Kaikeyi, spending fourteen years in the forest, doing penance to create a bridge on the sea, despite being a king after abandoning Sita, is the culmination of his tolerance like a monk.
Renunciation and dedication- Lord Rama’s three brothers Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna were the son of the stepmother, but they had a sense of sacrifice and dedication and gave affection for all the brothers. This was the reason that Lakshmana went to the forest with him at the time of exile of Lord Rama and despite receiving the Rajpat in the absence of Rama, Bharat gave the public justice to the people by keeping the values of Lord Rama in mind.
Skilled Manager- Lord Rama was not only a skilled manager, but also taking everyone along. He used to give everyone the opportunity of development and used the available resources better. Due to his quality, he and his army made a bridge of stones to go to Lanka. , Jai Ho Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram.
