निर्जला एकादशी का शुभ मुहूर्त
निर्जला एकादशी 30 मई मंगलवार को दोपहर 1 बजकर 9 मिनट से आरंभ हो जाएगी और इसका समापन 31 मई को दोपहर 1 बजकर 47 मिनट पर होगी। इसलिए उदया तिथि के नियमों के अनुसार निर्जला एकादशी का व्रत 31 मई को रखा जाएगा। इस व्रत का पारण 1 जून को सुबह 5 बजकर 23 मिनट से 8 बजकर 9 मिनट तक होगा।

निर्जला एकादशी की पूजाविधि
निर्जला एकादशी के दिन सुबह सूर्योदय से पूर्व उठकर ही स्नान कर लें और मन ही मन भगवान विष्णु का स्मरण करते हुए व्रत करने का संकल्प लें। पूजाघर को गंगाजल छिड़ककर पवित्र कर लें। लकड़ी की चौकी पर साफ पीले रंग का वस्त्र बिछाएं और उस पर भगवान विष्णु की तस्वीर स्थापित करें। भगवान विष्णु को पीले रंग के वस्त्र अर्पित करें। अगर आपके पास वस्त्र नहीं है और पीले रंग का गमछा भी रख सकते हैं। पूजा के बाद यह गमछा किसी जरूरतमंद को दान कर दें। भगवान विष्णु की पूजा में पीले रंग चावल, पील फूल और पीले फल भी शामिल करें। विधि विधान से निर्जला एकादशी की पूजा करें और उसके बाद मिष्ठान का भोग लगाकर प्रसाद के रूप में वितरित करें।

पंचांग बताया गया है कि एकादशी व्रत का पारण द्वादशी तिथि के दिन अर्थात 1 जून को सुबह 05 बजकर 24 मिनट से सुबह 08 बजकर 10 मिनट के बीच किया जा सकेगा।
