. एक ही चाबी ताले को खोलती भी है और बन्द भी करती है, बन्धन लगाती भी है और बन्धन खोलती भी है। चाबी को उलटी दिशा में घुमा दिया जाय तो बन्धन लग जाता है और जब वही चाबी सीधी दिशा में घूमती है तो सारे बन्धन खोल देती है। बन्धन लगने और खुलने में चाबी का कुछ भी गुण या दोष नहीं है, उसका तो यही कर्म है। तो फिर गुणदोष किसका हुआ ? ‘उन हाथों का जिन्होंने उस चाबी को दिशा और गति दी।।
मनुष्य का मन भी चाबी का काम करता है, जो आत्मा रूपी ताले को बन्द या खोलने की ताकत तो रखता है, परन्तु यह एक ही मन बंधन का भी हेतु है, और यही मुक्ति का हेतु भी हो सकता है।
जैसे एक दिशा में घुमाने से ताला बन्द हुआ है, विपरीत दिशा में घुमाने से खुलता है, संसार में लगा मन बंधनकारी है, तो यदि इसे ईश्वर में लगा दें तो मुक्तिकारी हो जाए।
चाबी की निन्दा से कुछ नहीं होगा, ताला चाबी ने नहीं, चाबी घुमानेवाले ने लगाया है। यों ही मन की निंदा से भी क्या होगा? क्योंकि मन स्वयं संसार में नहीं लगा, आप ने लगाया है। यह अलग बात है कि आज से नहीं लगाया, कभी लगाया था। बस गेंद सीढ़ी से लुड़की तो लुड़कती चली गई। पानी में मिट्टी मिल गई, अब पानी साफ कैसे हो? कचरा फैल तो एक पल में जाता है, समेटने में बहुत श्रम लगता है।
देखें, मन तो ऐसा है कि इस पर हर भाव अंकित हो जाता है, इसी को संस्कार कहते हैं। न मालूम कब संसार के संस्कार का बीज पड़ा, अंकुर फूटा, वृक्ष बढ़ा, फूल लगे और फल बने। उन फलों से पुनः अनन्त बीज बन कर इसी मन की भूमि में पड़ते रहे, अब यह घोर घना जंगल कैसे कटे?
मित्रों जल्दबाजी न करें, घबराएँ नहीं, समझकर चलें। मुश्किल भले लगे, असंभव नहीं है। याद रखें–
तलाशे यार में जो ठोकरें खाया नहीं करते।
कभी वो मंजिले मकसूद को पाया नहीं करते॥
इससे पहले कि मृत्यु आए, यदि नया संस्कार न पड़े, और पिछले मिटते चले जाएँ, तो भी बात बन जाए।
इसलिये एक काम करें, संत और भगवान का सहारा ले लें। संत के संग और संत की सेवा से मन का पिछला मैल साफ हो जाता है, और भगवान के नामजप और रूपध्यान से नए दाग नहीं पड़ते। तब स्वाभाविक ही, विषयाकार मन भगवदाकार हो जाता है, तो बंधन नहीं रहता।
, The same key opens and closes the lock, locks it and opens it. If the key is turned in the opposite direction, then the fastening is done and when the same key is turned in the straight direction, then all the fastenings are opened. There is no merit or demerit of the key in the binding and opening, that is its karma. Then whose fault was it? ‘The hands that gave direction and movement to that key. Man’s mind also acts as a key, which has the power to close or open the lock of the soul, but this same mind is also the cause of bondage, and this can also be the cause of liberation. Just as the lock is closed by turning in one direction, it is opened by turning in the opposite direction, the mind attached to the world is binding, so if it is applied to God, it becomes liberated. Nothing will happen by criticizing the key, the lock is not put by the key, it is the one who turns the key. In the same way, what will happen with the condemnation of the mind? Because the mind itself was not engaged in the world, you have put it. It is a different matter that it was not planted from today, it was ever planted. Just when the ball rolled down the ladder, it kept rolling. Soil got mixed in the water, now how can the water be clean? Garbage spills go away in an instant, it takes a lot of effort to collect. See, the mind is such that every emotion is imprinted on it, this is called sanskar. I don’t know when the seed of the world’s sanskar was planted, the seedling sprouted, the tree grew, flowered and became fruit. After becoming eternal seeds from those fruits, they kept falling in the land of this mind, now how this very dense forest was cut? Friends, do not be in a hurry, do not panic, go with understanding. Though difficult, it is not impossible. Remember-
Find a man who does not eat stumbling blocks. They never found the storeyed Maqsood.
Before death comes, if new sanskars are not formed, and the previous ones go on disappearing, even then it becomes a matter. So do one thing, take the help of saint and God. With the company of the saint and the service of the saint, the previous filth of the mind is cleared, and new stains are not created by the chanting and meditation of the Lord. Then naturally, the object-oriented mind becomes divine, so there is no bondage.
