प्रेरक प्रसंग कथनीऔर करनी

कथनी और करनी में अंतर का अर्थ होता है जब व्यक्ति कहता कुछ और है लेकिन वास्तविक जीवन में कर्म कुछ और करता है.
एक बार एक पंडित जी बस में चढ़े. पंडित जी ने कंडक्टर को टिकट के लिए पैसे दिए. कंडक्टर ने टिकट दिया. पंडित जी का दस रूपये बकाया बचता था. लेकिन कंडक्टर ने उन्हें 10 के बजाय ₹20 दे दिए .

पंडित जी समझ गए कि कंडक्टर ने गलती से ज्यादा पैसे दे दिये है .लेकिन वह चुप रहे मन में सोचने लगे मुझे ज्यादा पैसे दिए इसमें कंडक्टर की गलती है इसलिए मैं ज्यादा दिये पैसे वापस क्यों करूं?

लेकिन पंडित जी के मन में बस में उतरने तक द्वद चलता रहा कि पैसे वापस करूँ या ना करूँ.लकिन जब कंडक्टर ने आवाज लगाई थी पंडित जी आपका स्टॉप आने वाला है तो पंडित जी ने अपनी जेब में से ₹10 निकालकर कंडक्टर को वापस कर दिए और कहा कि आपना काम ध्यान से किया करो, तुमनें गलती से मुझे ज्यादा पैसे दे दिए थे.

कंडक्टर ने कहा पंडित जी मैंने गलती से नहीं जानबूझकर आपको ज्यादा पैसे दिए थे . कंडक्टर की बात सुन कर पंडित जी सतब्ध हो गए.

कंडक्टर कहने लगा कि मैंने आपके बारे में बहुत सुना है कि आप के प्रवचन सुनकर बहुत से लोगों लोगों का जीवन बदल गया. आप उन्हें अच्छाई के पथ पर चलने, धन का लोभ ना करने, और शुभ कर्म करने की प्रेरणा देते हैं .

मैं जानना चाहता था कि,” आपकी करनी और कथनी में कहीं अंतर तो नहीं है. लेकिन आपने पैसे वापस करके सिद्ध कर दिया आपकी करनी और कथनी में कोई अंतर नहीं है.”

पंडित जी बस से उतरते ही अपनी ईश्वर का शुक्रिया कर रहे थे कि प्रभु आपने मुझे बचा लिया ,नहीं तो ₹10 के कारण उनके चरित्र पर दाग लग जाता कि पंडित जो ज्ञान लोगों को देता है उस पर स्वयं अमल नहीं करता है. उसकी करनी और कथनी में अंतर है.

इसलिए कहते हैं कि अपनी अंतरात्मा की आवाज को जरूर सुने क्योंकि कुछ भी गलत करने पर वह आपको दुत्कारती जरूर है

The difference between words and deeds means when a person says something else but in real life the deed does something else. Once a pandit ji boarded a bus. Pandit ji gave money to the conductor for the ticket. The conductor gave the ticket. Pandit ji had an outstanding balance of Rs. But the conductor gave him ₹ 20 instead of 10.

Pandit ji understood that the conductor has given more money by mistake. But he kept quiet and started thinking in his mind, he gave me more money, it is the fault of the conductor, so why should I return more money?

But till the time of boarding the bus, Panditji kept on fighting whether to return the money or not. Gave me and said that do your work carefully, you had given me more money by mistake.

The conductor said, Pandit ji, I had given you more money intentionally, not by mistake. Pandit ji was shocked to hear the conductor’s words.

The conductor started saying that I have heard a lot about you that listening to your discourses changed the lives of many people. You inspire them to walk on the path of goodness, not to be greedy for money, and to do good deeds.

I wanted to know that, “Is there any difference between your actions and your words. But you have proved by returning the money that there is no difference between your actions and your words.”

Pandit ji was thanking his God as soon as he got down from the bus that Lord, you saved me, otherwise his character would have been tainted due to ₹ 10 that the Pandit himself does not implement the knowledge that he gives to the people. There is a difference between his actions and words.
