आज की अमृत कथा *‼️ खाली पीपे ‼️
एक बहुत बड़ा सौदागर नौका लेकर दूर-दूर के देशों में लाखों-करोड़ों रुपए कमाने के लिए जाता रहता था।
एक दिन उसके मित्रों ने उससे कहा- तुम नौका में घूमते रहते हो तुम्हारी नौका पुराने जमाने की है, तूफान आते हैं, खतरे होते हैं और नौकाएं डूब जाती हैं, तुम तैरना तो सीख लो।
सौदागर ने कहा- तैरना सीखने के लिए मेरे पास समय कहां है?
मित्रों ने कहा- ज्यादा समय की जरूरत नहीं है। गांव में एक कुशल तैराक है, जो कहता है कि तीन दिनों में ही वो तैरना सिखा देगा।
सौदागर ने कहा- वो जो कहता है ठीक ही कहता होगा, लेकिन मेरे पास तीन दिन कहां हैं? तीन दिनों में तो मैं लाखों का कारोबार कर लेता हूं। तीन दिनों में तो लाखों रूपए यहां से वहां हो जाते हैं कभी फुर्सत मिलेगी, तो जरूर सीख लूंगा.
फिर भी उसके मित्रों ने कहा- खतरा बहुत बड़ा है तुम्हारा जीवन निरंतर नौका पर है, किसी भी दिन खतरा हो सकता है और तुम तो तैरना भी नहीं जानते हो.
सौदागर ने कहा- कोई और सस्ती तरकीब हो तो बताओ, इतना समय तो मेरे पास नहीं है.
तो उसके मित्रों ने कहा- कम से कम दो पीपे अपने पास रख लो कभी जरूरत पड़ जाए, तो उन्हें पकड़कर तुम तैर तो सकोगे।
सौदागर ने दो खाली पीपे मुंह बंद करवाकर अपने पास रख लिए उनको हमेशा अपनी नौका में जहां वो सोता था, वहीं पर रखता था।
एक दिन वो घड़ी आ गई। तूफान उठा और उसकी नौका डूबने लगी सौदागर चिल्लाया- मेरे पीपे कहां हैं ?
उसके नाविकों ने बताया- वो तो आपके बिस्तर के पास ही रखे हुए हैं।
इतना कहकर बाकी नाविक कूद गए, क्योंकि वे तैरना जानते थे।
वो सौदागर अपने पीपों के पास गया। वे दो खाली पीपे भी वहां थे जो उसने तैरने के लिए रखे थे और दो स्वर्ण मुद्राओं से भरे पीपे भी थे, जिन्हें वो लेकर आ रहा था।
उसका मन डांवाडोल होने लगा कि कौन से पीपे लेकर कूदे, स्वर्ण मुद्राओं से भरे या खाली ?
फिर उसने देखा कि नौका डूबने वाली है। वो सोचने लगा, भला खाली पीपे लेकर कूदने से क्या होगा और उसने अपने स्वर्ण मुद्राओं से भरे पीपे लिए और कूद गया।
वही हुआ, और वो सौदागर डूबकर मर गया।
तात्पर्य –
वो सौदागर तैरने के लिए समय नहीं निकाल सका था क्या हम समय निकाल सके हैं? उसे तो मौका भी मिल गया था और वो खाली पीपे लेकर कूद सकता था, लेकिन वो भरे पीपे लेकर कूदा।
यही हाल हमारा है। अभी थोड़ा व्यापार संभाल लें, थोड़ा मकान देख लें, परिवार में मेरे बिना सब चौपट हो जाएगा और थोड़ा उसको भी देख लें, बस ऐसे ही हम अपना जीवन निकाल रहे हैं.
तैरना कब सीखेंगे ? हम इस संसार सागर में टूटी हुई नौका में बैठे हैं।
सभी संत-महात्मा पुकार-पुकार के कह रहे हैं,लेकिन हमारे पास समय ही नहीं है। यहां तक कि दो खाली पीपे भी हमने साथ नहीं रखे हैं,सत्संग के और सेवा के। उनको भी हमने अहंकार और दौलत के दिखावे से भर रखा है क्योंकि जिनको जीवन भर दिखावे,अहंकार और दौलत से भरे-भरे होने की आदत होती है, वे एक क्षण भी खाली होने को राजी नहीं हो सकते हैँ

Today’s nectar story *‼️ Empty casks‼️
A very big merchant used to go to distant countries with a boat to earn millions of rupees.
One day his friends said to him- You keep roaming in the boat, your boat is of old age, storms come, there are dangers and boats sink, you should learn to swim.
The merchant said – Where do I have time to learn swimming?
Friends said – not much time is needed. There is a skilled swimmer in the village, who says that he will teach swimming in three days.
The merchant said – what he says must be right, but where do I have three days? In three days I do business worth lakhs. Lakhs of rupees are transferred from here to there in three days. If I get free time, I will definitely learn.
Still his friends said – the danger is very big, your life is constantly on a boat, danger can happen any day and you don’t even know how to swim.
The merchant said – If there is any other cheap trick then tell me, I do not have that much time.
So his friends said – keep at least two casks with you, in case the need arises, you will be able to swim by holding them.
The merchant kept two empty casks with his mouth closed and kept them always in his boat where he slept.
One day that time has come. The storm arose and his boat started sinking. The merchant shouted – where are my casks?
His sailors told – they are kept near your bed only.
Saying this the rest of the sailors jumped in because they knew how to swim.
The merchant went to his casks. There were also two empty casks which he had kept for swimming and two casks full of gold coins which he was carrying. His mind began to waver as to which casks to jump with, filled with gold coins or empty? Then he saw that the boat was about to sink. He started thinking, what would happen if he jumped with empty casks and he took his casks full of gold coins and jumped.
That’s what happened, and the merchant drowned to death.
Meaning – The merchant could not find time to swim Can we find time? He had also got a chance and he could have jumped with an empty cask, but he jumped with a full cask.
This is our condition. Now take care of some business, take care of the house, everything in the family will be ruined without me and take care of that too, just like this we are living our lives. When will you learn to swim? We are sitting in a broken boat in this worldly ocean.
All the saints and mahatmas are calling out, but we don’t have time at all. We have not kept even two empty casks with us, for satsang and for service. We have filled them with arrogance and show of wealth because those who have a habit of being full of pride, arrogance and wealth throughout their life, they cannot agree to be empty even for a moment. 🙏🏻 Hail Hail Lord Radhe *🙏🏿
