Protect protect me O great goddess Durga destroyer of evil Have mercy on me, devoted and attached to Manu, who am overcome by the enemy.

Vishnumaya, most fortunate, Narayani, eternal. In the form of Brahman, in the Supreme, she is the embodiment of eternal bliss.

And Thou, O Mother of the gods, beginning with Brahma, O Mother of the universe. Thou art in the form and in the modes, and in the formless and in the modeless.

By illusion you are the man and by illusion nature itself. O eternal one You bear the Supreme Brahman beyond the two.

You are the mother of the Vedas and Savitri, the Supreme Being. In Vaikuntha Mahalakshmi is the embodiment of all wealth.

The lustful goddess of fortune of mortals is lying down in the ocean of milk You are the goddess of heaven in heaven and the goddess of kings on earth

Nagadilakshmi is the household goddess in the houses of the underworld You are the embodiment of all crops and the bestower of all opulence.

You are the goddess of passion and Saraswati of Brahman. You are the presiding deity of the life-force of Krishna, the Supreme Soul.

And in the world of the cows, Radha herself is on the chest of Sri Krishna. The goddess resides in the world of the cows in the forest of Vrindavan

She is beautiful in the Sri Rasa Mandala and enjoys Vrindavan You are the goddess of hundred peaks and your name is Chitravali.

Where is the daughter of Daksha in the Kalpa and where is the daughter of Shailaja in the Kalpa You are Aditi, the mother of the gods, and the earth, the support of all.

Thou alone art Ganga, Tulasi, and Thou art Svaha, Svadha, the chaste. The women of all the gods are parts and parcels of you.

“O goddess you are a man in the form of a woman and you are an eunuch You are created in the form of a tree among trees and in the form of a sprout

and the combustible power in fire is in the form of cold in water. She is always in the form of effulgence and radiance in the sun

She is in the form of smell and in the form of sound on earth and in the sky She is certainly the embodiment of beauty in the moon and in the cluster of lotuses

She is the form of creation in creation and the protector in protection. She is in the form of water in the destruction of epidemics

Thou art hunger, Thou art compassion, Thou art sleep, Thou art thirst, Thou art the form of intelligence. Thou art satisfaction, and Thou art nourishment, and Thou art faith, and Thou art forgiveness in Thyself.

Peace and Thou Thyself art delusion: Thou art brightness and also fame. Shame and you are also illusion, the embodiment of enjoyment and liberation.

You are the embodiment of all power and the giver of all wealth. You are indescribable in the Vedas and no one knows you.

A thousand-faced man is not able to praise you, O goddess of the gods. Who is a learned man who is not capable of the Vedas and who is not capable of Saraswati?

The creator himself is not capable nor is Vishnu eternal. What shall I praise with my five mouths, O great goddess, frightened of battle?

. Have mercy on me, O great illusion, and destroy my enemies.
