स्वभाव बदलो
संत अबू हसनके पास एक व्यक्ति आया और बोला- ‘महाराज, मैं गृहस्थीके झंझटोंसे परेशान हो उठा हूँ। पत्नी एवं बच्चोंसे मेरी नहीं पटती, दुखी होकर संन्यास लेना चाहता हूँ। आप महान् संत हैं, अपने पहने हुए कपड़े मुझे दे दें। उन्हें पहनकर मैं भी साधु बन जाऊँगा’ अबू हसनने सुना तो मुसकराये। उन्होंने पूछा- ‘क्या कोई महिला, पुरुषके कपड़े पहननेसे पुरुष या पुरुष महिलाके कपड़े पहनने से महिला बन सकती है ?’ उस व्यक्तिने कहा ‘नहीं बन सकते।’ ‘तो फिर तुम मेरे कपड़े पहनने से साधु कैसे बन जाओगे ? साधु बननेके लिये कपड़े बदलनेकी जरूरत नहीं है, अपना स्वभाव एवं आचरण बदलनेकी जरूरत है। अपना स्वभाव बदल दो, तुम गृहस्थीको झंझट मानना बन्द कर दोगे।’ संत अबू हसनके शब्द सुनकर वह व्यक्ति क्रोध एवं झुंझलाहट त्यागनेका संकल्प लेकर अपनी गृहस्थीमें वापस लौट गया।

change nature
A person came to Saint Abu Hasan and said- ‘Your Majesty, I am troubled by the troubles of the household. I don’t get along with my wife and children, I want to retire after being sad. You are a great saint, give me the clothes you are wearing. Wearing them, I will also become a monk’ Abu Hasan smiled when he heard. He asked- ‘Can a woman become a man by wearing men’s clothes or a man by wearing women’s clothes?’ That person said ‘can’t become’. ‘Then how will you become a monk by wearing my clothes? There is no need to change clothes to become a monk, there is a need to change your nature and conduct. Change your nature, you will stop considering the household as a hassle.’ After listening to the words of Saint Abu Hasan, the person returned to his household with a resolve to give up anger and annoyance.
