A rich traveling merchant stopped for the night in a poor man’s hut in a small village. While leaving there, he forgot his bag of gold coins there. After three months, the same businessman was again going the same way. Coincidentally it was night in the same village and he went and stayed at the same poor man’s house. He had no idea where the bag of coins had fallen on the way. That’s why he had given up hope of that bag. As soon as he came and stayed in the hut, the owner of the hut came on his own and said – ‘Sethji! One of your coin bags was left here, take it. Due to not knowing your name and address, I could not send the bag till now. Till now I had kept it as a heritage.’ The businessman was mesmerized by the honesty of the old-poor villager and he was so grateful that he did not get tired of singing his praises and finally took his boy with him after much persuasion.
