‘जाकी रही भावना जैसी’

एकबार संगीताचार्य तानसेनने एक भजन यशोदा प्रतिदिन कहती हैं।’
गाया-
जसुदा बार बार यों भाखै।
है कोड ब्रज में हितू हमारो, चलत गोपालहिं राखै ॥ इस पदका अर्थ अकबरकी समझमें नहीं आया। उसने दरबारियोंसे इसका अर्थ पूछा। तब तानसेनने कहा – “यशोदा कहती है- क्या ब्रजमें हमारा कोई ऐसा हितैषी है, जो गोपालको मथुरा जानेसे रोक सके ?”
इसपर फैजी बोले, “नहीं, नहीं! आपको इसका अर्थ समझमें नहीं आया। ‘बार-बार’ का अर्थ ‘रोना’ है। यानी यशोदा रो-रोकर कहती है…।” बीरबल बोले, “मेरे विचारसे तो ‘बार-बार’ का अर्थ ‘द्वार-द्वार’ है। ” रहीम कवि भी वहाँ उपस्थित थे। उन्हें यह अर्थ भी नहीं जँचा। बोले, ‘बार- बार’ का अर्थ ‘बाल-बाल’ यानी ‘रोम-रोम’ है।”
इतनेमें एक ज्योतिषी उठ खड़ा हुआ और बोला, ‘मेरी रायमें तो इसमेंसे एक भी अर्थ ठीक नहीं है। वास्तवमें ‘बार’ का अर्थ ‘वार’ यानी दिन है, अर्थात्
यह सुनकर बादशाहको आश्चर्य हुआ, बोला, “एक ही शब्द ‘बार-बार’ का सब लोग अलग-अलग अर्थ कैसे बता रहे हैं।’ तब रहीम कवि बोले, ‘जहाँपनाह। एक ही शब्दके अनेक अर्थ होना यह कविका कौशल है और इसे ‘श्लेष’ कहा जाता है। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति किसी शब्दका अर्थ अपनी-अपनी परिस्थिति और चित्तवृत्तिके लगाता है। मैं कवि हूँ और किसी काव्यका प्रभाव कविके रोम-रोमपर होता है, इसलिये मैंने इसका अर्थ ‘रोम-रोम’ लगाया। तानसेन गायक हैं, उन्हें बार-बार राग अलापना पड़ता है, इसलिये उन्होंने ‘बार-बार’ अर्थ लगाया। फैजी शायर हैं और उन्हें करुण शायरी सुन आँसू बहानेका अभ्यास है, अतः उनके द्वारा ‘रोना’ अर्थ लगाना स्वाभाविक है और बीरबल ठहरे ब्राह्मण ब्राह्मणको घर-घर घूमना पड़ता है, इसलिये उन्होंने ‘द्वार-द्वार’ अर्थ लगाया। रहे ज्योतिषी, तो वे दिन, तिथि, नक्षत्रों आदिका ही विचार करते हैं और इसलिये उन्होंने इसका अर्थ ‘दिन’ लगाया।’ [ जीवन-दर्शन ]

Meanwhile, an astrologer stood up and said, ‘In my opinion none of these meanings is correct. In fact ‘Bar’ means ‘Var’ means day, that is
The king was surprised to hear this, said, “How are people giving different meanings to the same word ‘time and again’. Then Rahim the poet said, ‘Jahanpanah. It is the skill of the poet to have multiple meanings of the same word and it is called ‘Slesha’. -Romper happens, that’s why I gave it the meaning ‘rom-rom’. Tansen is a singer, he has to repeat the melody again and again, that’s why he used the meaning ‘repeatedly’. Therefore, it is natural for them to mean ‘crying’ and a Brahmin who is Birbal has to move from house to house, that is why they have used the meaning ‘door to door’.
