सफलताका राज – सच्ची लगन
संसारके सबसे महान् वैज्ञानिक अलबर्ट आइंस्टीनकी सफलतासे प्रभावित होकर कई युवा उनके पास आते थे और उनसे चर्चाकर अपने जीवनकी सही दिशा चुननेका प्रयास करते थे। आइंस्टीन भी यथा शक्ति उन लोगोंकी सहायता करते थे। एक दिन एक युवा उनके पास आया और उनसे पूछा- ‘सर ! सारे संसारमें आपका नाम है, सभी आपकी प्रशंसा करते हैं, कृपाकर मुझे बताइये कि महान् बननेका मूलमन्त्र क्या है ?”
आइंस्टीनने एक शब्दमें कहा-‘लगन।’ युवक बोला-‘मैं कुछ समझा नहीं सर!’ आइंस्टीन अपनी बातको समझाते हुए बोले- ‘जब मैं तुम्हारी आयुका था, तब गणितसे बहुत डरता था, जैसे कि तुम आज डरते हो। प्रायः मैं गणितमें अनुत्तीर्ण हो जाता था, जिसके लिये मुझे सजा दी जाती। मेरे वे मित्र, जो मुझसे आगे बढ़ जाते, मेरा मजाक उड़ाते। मैं बहुत दुखी होता। फिर मैंने सोचा कि आखिर मुझमें कोई कमी नहीं, फिर गणितसे क्या घबराना ? उस दिनसे मैंने गणितके सवाल निरन्तर हल करने शुरू कर दिये। कई बार असफल रहा और दोस्तोंने मजाक बनाया, किंतु बिना घबराये, मैं लगनसे गणितका अभ्यास करता गया। इसी लगनका यह फल है कि आज लोग मेरे सिद्धान्तोंका अनुसरण करते हैं, साथ ही मैंने विज्ञानमें भी दक्षता हासिल की। लगन ही मेरा गुरुमन्त्र है। तुम भी इसे अपना लो।’ युवकने आइंस्टीनकी बात सदाके लिये गाँठ बाँध ली। लक्ष्य प्राप्त करनेकी सच्ची लगन हो तो भौतिक साधनहीनता कभी बाधा नहीं बनती। वस्तुतः लगन वह आन्तरिक शक्ति है, जो बाहरी अवरोधोंपर सदैव विजय पाकर लक्ष्यकी प्राप्ति कराती है। [ श्रीमती आभा निगमजी ]
The secret of success – true passion
Impressed by the success of Albert Einstein, the world’s greatest scientist, many youths used to come to him and discuss with him and try to choose the right direction of their life. Einstein also used to help those people as much as he could. One day a young man came to him and asked him – ‘Sir! Your name is in the whole world, everyone praises you, please tell me what is the basic mantra to become great?
Einstein said in one word – ‘Desire’. The young man said – ‘I did not understand anything sir!’ Einstein explained his point and said- ‘When I was your age, I was very afraid of mathematics, as you are afraid today. I often failed in maths, for which I was punished. My friends, who would have gone ahead of me, would have made fun of me. I would be very sad. Then I thought that after all there is no deficiency in me, then why to worry about maths? From that day I started solving math problems continuously. I failed many times and friends made fun of me, but without panic, I kept practicing maths diligently. It is the result of this passion that today people follow my principles, along with this I also gained proficiency in science. Passion is my Guru Mantra. You also adopt it. The young man tied the knot with Einstein forever. If there is a true passion to achieve the goal, then physical lack of means never becomes an obstacle.
