जिस प्रकार एक वैद्य के द्वारा दो अलग- अलग रोग के रोगियों को अलग अलग दवा दी जाती है। किसी को मीठी तो किसी को अत्याधिक कड़वी दवा दी जाती है। लेकिन दोनों के साथ भिन्न-भिन्न व्यवहार किये जाने के बावजूद भी उसका उद्देश्य एक ही होता है, रोगी को स्वास्थ्य लाभ प्रदान करना।
ठीक इसी प्रकार उस ईश्वर द्वारा भी भले ही देखने में भिन्न-भिन्न लोगों के साथ भिन्न-भिन्न व्यवहार नजर आये मगर उसका भी केवल एक ही उद्देश्य होता है और वो है, कैसे भी हो पर जीव का कल्याण करना।
सुदामा को अकिंचन बनाके तारा तो राजा बलि को सम्राट बनाकर तारा। शुकदेव जी को परम ज्ञानी बनाकर तारा तो विदुर जी को प्रेमी बना कर। पांडवों को मित्र बना कर तारा व कौरवों को शत्रु बनाकर। स्मरण रहे – भगवान केवल क्रिया से भेद करते हैं भाव से नहीं।

Just as a doctor gives different medicines to the patients of two different diseases. Some are given sweet and some are given very bitter medicine. But even though both are treated differently, their aim is the same, to provide health benefits to the patient.
In the same way, even though different behavior may be seen by that God with different people, but he also has only one aim and that is to do welfare of the living being, however it may be.
Sudama was made a star by making him an akinchan and King Bali was made a star by making him an emperor. By making Shukdev ji the ultimate knowledgeable, Tara and Vidur ji as lover. By making Pandavas as friends, Tara and Kauravas as enemies. Remember – God differentiates only by action and not by emotion.
