गुरुपूर्णिमा कृतज्ञता प्रकट करने का दिन
गुरु पूर्णिमा अपने सद्गुरु के प्रति कृतज्ञता प्रकट करने का दिन है। यह शिष्य की आध्यात्मिक प्रगति का लेखा-जोखा प्रस्तुत करने का दिन है। यह दिन है जब हम गुरुदीप से आत्मदीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर दीप शिखा को और प्रचण्ड करते हैं। जन्मों-जन्मों के कर्मों के परिणाम स्वरूप दुःख भोगते जीवों की दुःख जंजीर को काटने, आवागमन के चक्र से मुक्ति हेतु गुरुशरण जाने का दिन है।
एक महान अवसर –गुरु पूर्णिमा
यह दिन है इस संसार में स्वर्गसम जीवन जीने के लिए नारकीय जीवन में उत्तम सुधार लाने हेतु गुरु ज्ञान विधि से स्वयं को प्रशिक्षित करने का, जीवन के वसन्त का, अज्ञान-अंधकार के अन्त का, चलने के लिए परमात्मा के पन्थ का, पढ़ने के लिए गुरुगीता ग्रन्थ का, जपने के लिए गुरु मंत्र का, शरण ग्रहण करने हेतु गुरु संत का गुरु पूर्णिमा महान अवसर है।
सफल हो जाये जन्म-मरण
गुरु से इस समय सीखना होता है मंत्रशक्ति जागरण, आत्मशोधन करके पाप का निवारण। सीखनी होती है वह युक्ति जिससे सफल हो जाये जन्म-मरण। जगाना होता है वह पुण्य स्नान, जिससे कट जाये माया का आवरण। ध्यान सफल हो, ज्ञान सफल हो, जीवन सफल हो, घर द्वार सफल हो, अÂ-धन से भक्तजन श्री सम्पÂ हों। तन-मन जीवन हर पल प्रसन्न हो सके। इसकी साधना पद्धति गुरु पूर्णिमा पर सद्गुरु से मिलती है। इसलिए चूकिये नहीं, अवसर को खो मत जाने दें, पधारें गुरु के द्वार, पूरे वर्ष में उत्तम अवसर आया है फिर एक बार।
झोली फैलाकर अपने सदगुरु व भगवान दोनों से मांगने का दिन
गुरु-शिष्य परम्परा के प्रति सम्मान और सत्कार व्यक्त करने का पवित्र दिवस है ‘‘गुरु पूर्णिमा’’। यह पर्व के सहारे शिष्य में प्रगाढ़ भक्ति, शक्ति, आध्यात्मिक सौभाग्य जगाने का दिवस है। समुद्र के ज्वारोन्मुख होने की परम्परा के समान गुरु पूर्णिमा ‘गुरु’ की आध्यात्मिक शक्तियों के उमड़ उठने का दिन है। शिष्य की पात्रता में गहराई लाने का दिन है। इसीलिए शिष्यों को यह अवसर खोना नहीं चाहिए, झोली फैलाकर अपने सदगुरु व भगवान दोनों से मांगना चाहिए नाम जपने, बरकत और भक्ति में रस पाने का अधिकार।
