एक निकुंज में कान्हा जी एक पत्र में कुछ लिख रहे हैं, तभी एक गोपी उस वन की ओर आने लगी। उस गोपी को देखकर कान्हा जी ने उस पत्र को हवा में लहराकर छोड दिया और दुसरी तरफ से वन में से बाहर निकल गए
उस गोपी को कुतुहुल हुआ कि कान्हा जी ने चिठ्ठी में क्या लिखा है और उसे हवा में लहराते हुए क्युं छोड दिया।
वह गोपी दौडती हुई आई और वह चिठ्ठी को पढने लगी, और पढते ही चित्त वश में नहीं रहा। एकदम जड जैसी हो गई।
तभी वहां पांच-सात गोपियाँ आती है और उस भाव विभोर गोपी को घेर लेती है । उस गोपी की दशा ऐसी थी कि न उनको शरीर का भान था और न बोलने चलने का भान था। बस,वह वृक्ष की भांति जड़वत बैठी थी।
उसके हाथ में जो चिट्ठी थी। वह चिट्ठी एक गोपी ने ले ली और पढ़ने लगी। पढ़ते ही उनकी भी दशा पहली गोपी जैसी हो गई। वह तो जड़वत होकर रोने लगी।
क्या है इस चिट्ठी में? सब के मन में ये जिज्ञासा आयी। फिर तीसरी गोपी ने वह चिट्ठी हाथ में लेकर पढ़ी। उनकी भी वैसी ही दशा हो गई।
फिर चौथी, पांचवी, छठी, सभी ने यह चिट्ठी पढ़ी। सब की दशा भावविभोर हो गई।
सब रोने लगीं और वृक्ष की भांति जड़वत हो गई।
कोई भी न कुछ बोले, न हिले-डुले आखिर क्या है इस चिट्ठी में?
एक छोटी सी चिट्ठी प्रेम में इतना डूबा सकती है, ये किसी ने सोचा भी न था।
बात अगर दिल को छू लेने वाली हो, तो एक वाक्य भी कृष्ण प्रेम उत्पन्न कर सकता है।
तभी वहां श्रीस्वामिनी जी आती है और सभी सखियों को गहरे भाव मे डूबे हुए देखा। उसने भी ये चिट्ठी पढ़ी।
उस चिट्ठी में श्रीकृष्ण ने लिखा था कि “जो भी ये चिट्ठी पढ़ेगी, उसके दिल में अवश्य ही मेरे लिए शुद्ध प्रेम होगा। तो ही ये चिट्ठी उनके हाथ मे आएगी, नही तो नही आएगी।”
और सभी गोपियाँ यही सोचती थी कि हमारे भीतर कृष्ण प्रेम नही है। लेकिन जब ये चिट्ठी पढ़ी तो उनको ऐसा लगा जैसे गरीब के हाथ में पारसमणि आ गया।
आप ही सोचिए, ऐसे अलौकिक आनन्द के अवसर पर क्या वाणी बोल सकती है ? देह का भान रह सकता है? अपने आप ही मन श्रीकृष्ण में लीन ही होता जाएगा।

Kanha ji is writing something in a letter in a nikunj, when a gopi started coming towards that forest. Seeing that gopi, Kanha ji released that letter by waving it in the air and went out from the other side in the forest.
The gopi wondered what Kanha ji had written in the letter and left it waving in the air. That gopi came running and she started reading the letter, and as soon as she read it, the mind was not in control. It was like a solid. Only then five-seven gopis come there and surrounds the gopi with the spirit. The condition of that gopi was such that he had neither the consciousness of the body nor the sense of walking. Just like a tree, she was sitting rooted. The letter was in his hand. A gopi took that letter and started reading it. As soon as he read, his condition became like that of the first gopi. She started crying bitterly. What is in this letter? This curiosity came in everyone’s mind. Then the third gopi read the letter in his hand. He too had the same condition. Then the fourth, fifth, sixth, everyone read this letter. Everyone’s condition became emotional. Everyone started crying and like a tree got dead. No one said anything, did not move, after all, what is in this letter? A small letter can drown so much in love, no one could have imagined that. If the matter is touching the heart, then even a single sentence can generate love for Krishna. Then Shri Swamiji comes there and saw all the friends immersed in a deep feeling. He also read this letter. In that letter, Shri Krishna had written that “Whoever reads this letter, will surely have pure love for me in his heart. Only then this letter will come in his hand, otherwise it will not come.” And all the gopis used to think that there is no love of Krishna within us. But when he read this letter, he felt as if Parasmani had come in the hands of the poor. Think for yourself, what words can speak on the occasion of such supernatural joy? Can the body be aware? By itself the mind will be absorbed in Shri Krishna. *Hope all of you have got supernatural bliss from this Leela*
