” निष्कामता “

जब तक व्यक्ति के भीतर पाने की इच्छा शेष है, तब तक उसे दरिद्र ही समझना चाहिए। श्री सुदामा जी को गले लगाने के लिए आतुर श्री द्वारिकाधीश इसलिए भागकर नहीं गए कि सुदामा के पास कुछ नहीं है अपितु इसलिए गए कि सुदामा के मन में कुछ भी पाने की इच्छा अब शेष नहीं रह गयी थी। इसलिए ही संतों ने कहा है कि जो कुछ नहीं माँगता उसको भगवान स्वयं अपने आप को दे देते हैं। द्वारिकापुरी में आज सुदामा राजसिंहासन पर विराजमान हैं और कृष्ण समेत समस्त पटरानियाँ चरणों में बैठकर उनकी चरण सेवा कर रही हैं। सुदामा अपने प्रभाव के कारण नहीं पूजे जा रहे हैं अपितु अपने स्वभाव और कुछ भी न चाहने के भाव के कारण पूजे जा रहे हैं। सुदामा की कुछ भी न पाने की इच्छा ने ही उन्हें द्वारिकापुरी के सदृश भोग ऐश्वर्य प्रदान कर दिया। मानो कि भगवान ये कहना चाह रहे हों कि जिसकी अब और कोई इच्छा बाकी नहीं रही वो मेरे ही समान मेरे बराबर में बैठने का अधिकारी बन जाता है। मनुष्य की निष्कामता अथवा कामना शून्यता ही उसे अबसे अधिक मूल्यवान, अनमोल और उस प्रभु का प्रिय बना देती है। जिसके जीवन में कामना नहीं होती उसे दु:खों का सामना भी नहीं करना पड़ता है। जिसमें डिमांड नहीं होती वो ही डायमंड होता है।

As long as the desire to achieve remains within a person, he should be considered poor. Desperate to embrace Shri Sudama ji, Shri Dwarkadhish ran away not because Sudama had nothing but because Sudama’s desire to get anything was no longer left in his mind. That is why the saints have said that God himself gives whatever he does not ask for. Today Sudama is seated on the throne in Dwarkapuri and all the ladies including Krishna are serving him by sitting at his feet. Sudama is being worshiped not because of his influence, but because of his nature and the feeling of not wanting anything. Sudama’s desire not to get anything gave him the opulence of Bhoga, similar to that of Dwarkapuri. It is as if God is trying to say that the one who has no desire left now becomes entitled to sit next to me like me. Man’s selflessness or emptiness of desire makes him more valuable, precious and dear to that Lord than ever. One who does not have desire in life does not even have to face sorrows. The one in which there is no demand is a diamond.
