पत्नी का मर्म सिखाने को,
भाई का प्रेम बताने को,
हर चौपाई दोहा सुनना,
प्रिय तुम रामचरितमानस पढ़ना ।।

लक्ष्मण से सेवा त्याग सीखना,
श्री भरत से राज विराग सीखना,
प्रभु का सबसे अनुराग सीखना,
फिर माता सीता को गुनना,
प्रिय तुम रामचरितमानस पढ़ना ।।

केवट की भक्ति भरी गगरी,
फल मीठे बेर लिए शबरी,
है धन्य अयोध्या की नगरी,
अवसादों में जब घिरना,
प्रिय तुम रामचरितमानस पढ़ना ।।

न्याय नीति पर राम अड़े,
संग सखा वीर हनुमान खड़े,
पशु-पक्षी तक हैं युद्ध लड़े,
धन्य हुआ उनका तरना,
प्रिय तुम रामचरितमानस पढ़ना ।।

जो राम नाम रघुराई है,
जीवन की मूल दवाई है,
हर महामंत्र चौपाई है,
सियाराम नाम जपते रहना,
प्रिय तुम रामचरितमानस पढ़ना ।।

संकट में जब तुम फंसना,
