भगवान विष्णु के चरणों का महत्व

किसी ने सही ही कहा है कि भगवान के पांव में स्वर्ग होता है। उनके चरणों जैसी पवित्र जगह और कोई नहीं है। इसलिए तो लोग भगवान के चरणों का स्पर्श पाकर अपने जीवन को सफल बनाने की होड़ में लगे रहते हैं।लेकिन भगवान के चरणों का इतना महत्व क्यों है क्या कभी आपने जाना है?

भगवान के चरणरज की ऐसी महिमा है कि यदि इस मानव शरीर में त्रिभुवन के स्वामी भगवान विष्णु के चरणारविन्दों की धूलि लिपटी हो तो इसमें अगरू, चंदन या अन्य कोई सुगन्ध लगाने की जरूरत नहीं, भगवान के भक्तों की कीर्तिरूपी सुगन्ध तो स्वयं ही सर्वत्र फैल जाती है।

संसार के पालहार व परम दयालु भगवान विष्णु सबमें व्याप्त हैं। शेषनाग की शय्या पर शयन कपने वाले व शंख, चक्र, गदा और पद्म धारण करने वाले भगवान विष्णु के चरण-कमल भूदेवी (भूमि) और श्रीदेवी (लक्ष्मी) के हृदय-मंदिर में हमेशा विराजित रहते हैं। भगवान के चरणों से निकली गंगा का जल दिन-रात लोगों के पापों को धोता रहता है।

भगवान के चरणरज की ऐसी महिमा है कि यदि इस मानव शरीर में त्रिभुवन के स्वामी भगवान विष्णु के चरणारविन्दों की धूलि लिपटी हो तो इसमें अगरू, चंदन या अन्य कोई सुगंध लगाने की जरूरत नहीं, भगवान के भक्तों की कीर्तिरूपी सुगन्ध तो स्वयं ही सर्वत्र फैल जाती है। जो मनुष्य नित्य-निरन्तर उनके चरण-कमलों की दिव्य गंध का सेवन करता है भगवान विष्णु उनके हृदयकमल में अपने चरण कमलों की स्थापना करके स्वयं भी उनके अंत:करण में निवास करने लगते हैं। भगवान के चरण-कमलों के प्रताप से ही उनके सेवकों का मन भटकता नहीं है, उनके मन की चंचलता मिट जाती है और पापों का नांश हो जाता है।

भगवान के चरणों में👉 शंख का चिह्न है। शंख भगवान का विशेष आयुध है। यह सदा विष्णु भगवान के हाथ में रहता है। शंख विजय का प्रतीक है। जिस मनुष्य के हृदय में भगवान के चरण रहते हैं, वह सब पर विजयी हो जाता है। उसके सारे विरोधी-भाव शंखध्वनि से नष्ट हो जाते हैं।

भगवान के चरणों में👉 ऊर्ध्वरेखा का चिह्न है। सामुद्रिक विज्ञान के अनुसार जिसके चरण में ऊर्ध्वरेखा होती है, वह सदैव ऊंचे की ओर बढ़ता जाता है। जो मनुष्य अपने हृदय में भगवान के चरणों का ध्यान करता है, उसकी गति और दृष्टि ऊर्ध्व हो जाती है, वह सीधे ही अपने लक्ष्य को प्राप्त कर लेता है।

भगवान विष्णु के चरणों में👉 राजा बलि का चिह्न है। भगवान राजा बलि को ठगने गए थे परंतु अपने-आप को ठगा आए और उन्हें सदैव राजा बलि के द्वार पर पहरेदार बन कर रहना पड़ता है। भगवान ने बलि के मस्तक पर देवताओं के लिए भी दुर्लभ अपने चरण रखे और चरणों में ही बलि को स्वीकार कर लिया। राजा बलि का शरीर भगवान के चरणों में अंकित हो गया, इससे बढ़कर सौभाग्य की बात क्या हो सकती है ? राजा बलि को पहले राज-मद था। प्रह्लादजी ने जो कि उनके पितामह थे, उनको समझाया पर बलि नहीं माने। प्रह्लादजी ने देखा कि बीमारी बढ़ गयी है तो भगवान का स्मरण किया। भगवान ने वामन रूप में आकर बलि के संपूर्ण राज्य के साथ शरीर तक को नाप लिया। राजा बलि ने जब राजत्व का साज हटाकर मस्तक झुकाया, तब प्रभु ने उसके आंगन में खड़े रहना अंगीकार किया। यह मानभंग, ऐश्वर्यनाश आदि भगवान की बड़ी कृपा से होता है। जैसा रोग होता है, भगवान वैसी ही दवा देते हैं। बलि का सब कुछ हर लिया पर सुदामा को सबकुछ दे दिया। जो मनुष्य सब प्रकार से अपने को भगवान के चरणों में समर्पण कर देता है, उसके पास भगवान सदा के लिए बस जाते हैं।

भगवान के चरणों में👉 दर्पण का चिह्न है। दर्पण में प्रतिबिम्ब दिखता है, उसी तरह यह जगत भगवान का प्रतिबिम्ब है ‘वासुदेव सर्वम्’, सब कुछ, सब जगह भगवान-ही-भगवान हैं। किसी भी छवि को दर्पण रखता नहीं है वरन् छवि की शोभा को बढ़ाकर देखने वाले को आनन्द प्रदान करता है। भगवान के चरणों में प्रेम रखकर जो भगवान को सुखी करना चाहते हैं, भगवान भी उनकी पूजा स्वीकार कर उन्हें कोटिगुना प्रेम और आनंद लौटाकर सुखी करते हैं। इसके अतिरिक्त दर्पण के सामने जो जैसा जाता है, दर्पण उसे वैसा ही रूप लौटा देता है। भगवान के चरणों में जो जिस भाव से जाएगा, भगवान उसका वह भाव उसी रूप में प्रदान करेंगे। गीता में भगवान ने कहा है—‘ये यथा मां प्रपद्यन्ते तांस्तथैव भजाम्यहम् ।’ ‘जो जिस भाव से मुझे भजता है, मैं भी उन्हें उसी तरह भजता हूँ।’

भगवान के चरणों में👉 सुमेरुपर्वत का चिह्न है। सुमेरु का अर्थ है—जिसका मेरु सुंदर हो। सुमेरु को सोने का पहाड़ भी कहते हैं। इस सुमेरु को कुछ लोग ‘गोवर्धन’ कहते हैं जिसे भगवान ने अपनी कनिष्ठा उंगली के नख पर उठाया था। भगवान ने उसे सदा के लिए अपने चरणों में बसा लिया है। सुमेरु के बिना किसी वस्तु की स्थिति नहीं । सूर्य भी सुमेरु पर उगते हैं। इसलिए सुमेरु रात-दिन की संधि है। जपमाला में भी सुमेरु होता है। सुमेरु माला को व्यवस्था में रखने वाला केंद्र है। स्वर्णमय सुमेरु के अंदर अनन्त धन राशि छिपी है। जिसे भगवान के चरण प्राप्त हो जाते हैं, उसे संसार का सबसे बड़ा धन प्राप्त हो जाती है। उसकी जीवनमाला व्यवस्थित हो जाती है। वह जीवन-मृत्यु की संधि को समझ जाता है।

भगवान के चरणों में👉 घंटिका का चिह्न है। यह भगवान की विशेष प्रिय वस्तु है। पूजा में यह अत्यंत आवश्यक है। भगवान की करधनी में छोटी-छोटी घंटी लगी रहती है, नूपुर के साथ यह भी बजती है। इसका तांत्रिक अर्थ भी है।अनहद नाद में दस प्रकार के स्वर होते हैं। इसमें तीसरा स्वर घंटिका का होता है। घंटी ‘क्लीं क्लीं क्लीं’ का उच्चारण करती है। यही श्रीकृष्ण का महाबीज—प्रेम बीज मंत्र है। यह बीज घंटिका के रूप में आया है इसलिए पूजा का प्रधान उपकरण है; इसलिए भगवान के चरणों में इसे स्थान प्राप्त है।

भगवान के चरणों में👉 वीणा का चिह्न है। वीणा भगवान को विशेष प्रिय है, जिसे भगवान ने नारदजी को प्रदान किया था। वाद्यों में सबसे प्राचीन वीणा है। वीणा में सारे स्वर एक साथ हैं। यह आदि वाद्य है। गायन की विभूति रूप में इसे भगवान के चरणों मे स्थान मिला है। वीणा भगवान का नाम गाती है। जिसके हृदय में भगवान के चरण हैं उसे सदैव सब जगह वीणा का स्वर सुनाई देता

बिनती करि मुनि नाइ सिरु कह कर जोरि बहोरि।
चरन सरोरुह नाथ जनि कबहुँ तजै मति मोरि॥4॥

भावार्थ:👉 मुनि ने (इस प्रकार) विनती करके और फिर सिर नवाकर, हाथ जोड़कर कहा- हे नाथ! मेरी बुद्धि आपके चरण कमलों को कभी न छोड़े॥

अर्थात्👉 मैं भगवान के परम पवित्र चरण-कमलों की वंदना करता हूँ जिनकी ब्रह्मा, शिव, देव, ऋषि, मुनि आदि वंदना करते रहते हैं और जिनका ध्यान करने मात्र से सारे पाप नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
जिस प्रकार धनलोलुप मनुष्य के मन में सदैव धन बसता है वैसे ही हे प्रभु ! मेरे मन में सदैव आपके चरण-कमल का वास हो।

Someone has rightly said that there is heaven at the feet of God. There is no other holy place like His feet. That’s why people keep on competing to make their life successful by touching the feet of God. But why are the feet of God so important, have you ever known?

Lord Vishnu, the preserver of the world and the most merciful, pervades everyone. The lotus feet of Lord Vishnu who sleeps on the bed of Sheshnag and who wears conch, chakra, mace and lotus are always seated in the heart-temple of Bhudevi (Bhoomi) and Sridevi (Lakshmi). The water of the Ganga, which came out from the feet of the Lord, washes away the sins of the people day and night.

The glory of Lord’s feet is such that if the dust of Lord Vishnu’s feet is wrapped in this human body, then there is no need to add agarwood, sandalwood or any other fragrance to it, the fragrance of the fame of God’s devotees would automatically spread everywhere. Is. The person who constantly inhales the divine smell of his lotus feet, Lord Vishnu, by establishing his lotus feet in his heart, himself also resides in his heart. The mind of His servants does not wander because of the glory of the lotus feet of the Lord, the fickleness of their mind vanishes and the sins are destroyed.

There is a symbol of conch at the feet of God. Conch is the special weapon of God. It always remains in the hands of Lord Vishnu. The conch is the symbol of victory. The man who has the feet of the Lord in his heart becomes victorious over all. All his opposite feelings are destroyed by the sound of the conch.

There is a symbol of vertical line at the feet of God. According to oceanic science, the one who has a vertical line in his feet, always moves towards higher. The person who meditates on the Lord’s feet in his heart, his speed and vision become upward, he directly achieves his goal.

There is a symbol of King Bali at the feet of Lord Vishnu. The Lord had gone to cheat King Bali, but he himself was cheated, and he always had to stand guard at King Bali’s door. God placed his feet on the head of the sacrifice, rare even for the gods, and accepted the sacrifice at the feet itself. King Bali’s body got imprinted at the feet of God, what can be more fortunate than this? King Bali had lust for royalty earlier. Prahladji, who was his grandfather, explained to him but did not accept the sacrifice. Prahladji saw that the disease had increased, so he remembered God. The Lord came in the form of Vamana and measured even the body along with the entire kingdom of Bali. When King Bali bowed his head after removing the kingship, then the Lord accepted to stand in his courtyard. This defamation, loss of wealth etc. happens by the great grace of God. As per the disease, God gives the same medicine. Took everything of Bali but gave everything to Sudama. The person who surrenders himself at the feet of the Lord in all respects, the Lord resides with him forever.

There is a symbol of a mirror at the feet of God. Reflection is seen in the mirror, similarly this world is the reflection of God ‘Vasudev Sarvam’, everything, everywhere is God. The mirror does not keep any image, but enhances the beauty of the image and gives pleasure to the beholder. Those who want to please God by placing love at the feet of God, God also accepts their worship and makes them happy by returning multifold love and joy. Apart from this, whoever goes in front of the mirror, the mirror returns the same form to him. The one who goes at the feet of God, with whatever feeling, God will give him that feeling in the same form. In the Gita, God has said – ‘Ya yatha maa prapadyante tanstathaiva bhajamyham’.

There is a symbol of Mount Sumeru at the feet of God. Sumeru means-whose Meru is beautiful. Sumeru is also known as the mountain of gold. Some people call this Sumeru as ‘Goverdhan’ which was raised by the Lord on the fingernail of his little finger. God has settled him at his feet forever. Without Sumeru there is no condition of anything. The sun also rises on Sumeru. That’s why Sumeru is the treaty of night and day. There is Sumeru in the rosary as well. Sumeru is the center that keeps the rosary in order. Infinite wealth is hidden inside the golden Sumeru. The one who gets the feet of God, he gets the biggest wealth of the world. His life gets organized. He understands the treaty of life and death.

There is a symbol of a bell at the feet of God. It is a special favorite of the Lord. This is very important in worship. There is a small bell attached to the Lord’s girdle, it also rings along with the nupur. It also has a tantric meaning. There are ten types of notes in Anhad Naad. The third tone in this is that of the bell. The bell chants ‘clean clean clean’. This is the Mahabeej-love seed mantra of Shri Krishna. This seed has come in the form of a bell, hence it is the main instrument of worship; That’s why it has a place at the feet of God.

There is a symbol of Veena at the feet of God. Veena is especially dear to God, which was given to Naradji by God. Veena is the oldest of the instruments. All the notes in Veena are together. This is the original instrument. In the Vibhuti form of singing, it has got a place at the feet of God. Veena sings the name of the Lord. One who has the Lord’s feet in his heart always hears the sound of Veena everywhere.

Meaning: 👉 Muni prayed (in this way) and then bowing his head, folded hands and said – O Nath! May my intellect never leave your lotus feet.

Means 👉 I worship the most holy lotus feet of God, which are worshiped by Brahma, Shiva, Dev, Rishi, Muni etc. and by meditating on which all sins are destroyed.
