एक बार वृन्दावन के मंदिर में एक संत अक्षय तृतीया के दिन “श्री बांके बिहारी” के चरणों का दर्शन कर रहे थे। दर्शन करने के साथ साथ एक भाव भी गुनगुना रहे थे कि
“श्री बिहारी जी” के चरण कमल में नयन हमारे अटके।
नयन हमारे अटके नयन हमारे अटके।
एक व्यक्ति वहीँ पर खड़ा खड़ा ये भाव सुन रहा था। उसे ये भाव पसंद आया। और इस भाव को गुनगुनाते हुए अपने घर पहुंचा। उसकी आँखे बंद है
“श्री बिहारी” के चरण ह्रदय में है और बड़े भाव से गाये जा रहा है। लेकिन उस व्यक्ति से एक गलती हो गई।
भाव था कि”श्री बिहारी जी” के चरण कमल में नयन हमारे अटके।
लेकिन उसने गुनगुनाया “श्री बिहारी जी” के नयन कमल में “चरण” हमारे अटके।
थोड़ा उल्टा हो गया। लेकिन ये व्यक्ति बड़ा मगन होकर गाने लगा। “श्री बिहारी जी” के नयन कमल में “चरण” हमारे अटके।
अब थोड़ा सोचिये हमारे नयन “श्री बिहारी जी” के चरणों में अटकने चाहिए। हमारा ध्यान “श्री बिहारी जी” के चरणों में होना चाहिए। क्योंकि भगवान के चरण कमल बहुत ही प्यारे हैं।
लेकिन उस व्यक्ति ने इतना मगन होकर गया कि भगवान बांके बिहारी आज सब कुछ भूल गए और “श्री बिहारी जी उसके सामने प्रकट हो गए।
बांके बिहारी ने उससे मंद मंद मुस्कुराते हुए कहा – अरे भईया! मेरे एक से बढ़कर एक बड़ा भक्त है लेकिन तुझ जैसा निराला भक्त मुझे मिलना बड़ा मुश्किल है।
लोगो के नयन तो हमारे चरणों के अटक जाते है पर तुमने तो हमारे ही नयन अपने चरणों में अटका दिये।
वो व्यक्ति समझ ही नहीं पाया कि क्या हो रहा है। आज भगवान ने उसे साक्षात् दर्शन दे दिए।
फिर अपनी भूल का एहसास भी हुआ कि मैंने भगवान के नयनों को अपने चरणों में अटकने के लिए कहा। लेकिन फिर उसे समझ आया कि भगवान तो केवल भाव के भूखें है।
अगर मुझसे कोई गलती होती तो भगवान मुझे दर्शन देने ही नहीं आते। मेरे भाव पे आज भगवान रीझ गए।
ऐसा सोचकर वह भगवान के प्रेम में खूब रोया उसने साक्षात् भगवान को और भगवान की कृपा को बरसते हुए देखा। धन्य हैं ऐसे भक्त और भगवान।
भगवान के चरणों का बहुत ही महत्व है। आप भगवान के चरणों में मन को लगा दें बस। क्योंकि भगवान के चरण दुखों का हरण कर लेते हैं।

Now think a little, our eyes should be fixed at the feet of “Shri Bihari Ji”. Our attention should be at the feet of “Shri Bihari Ji”. Because the lotus feet of God are very lovely.
But that person went so engrossed that Lord Banke Bihari forgot everything and “Shri Bihari Ji appeared in front of him.
Banke Bihari smiled softly and said to him – Hey brother! I have a greater devotee than any other but it is very difficult for me to find a unique devotee like you.
People’s eyes are fixed on our feet, but you have fixed our eyes on your feet.
The person could not understand what was happening. Today God gave him personal darshan.
Then I realized my mistake and asked God’s eyes to stay at my feet. But then he understood that God is only hungry for feelings.
If I had committed any mistake then God would not have come to give me darshan. Today God was pleased with my feelings.
Thinking this, he cried a lot out of love for God; he saw God in person and God’s blessings showering upon him. Blessed are such devotees and God.
The feet of God have great importance. Just put your mind at the feet of God. Because God’s feet take away sorrows.
