हनुमानजी का अवतरण दिवस चैत्र माह की पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है। इंद्र द्वारा वज्र से प्रहार करने से उनकी हनु (ठुड्डी) टूट जाने के कारण ही उन्हें हनुमान कहा जाने लगा। प्रहार से मूर्छित हनुमान को जल छिड़ककर पुन: सचेत कर प्रत्येक देवता ने उनको अपने-अपने दिव्य अस्त्र-शस्त्र दिए जिसके कारण उनका नाम महावीर हुआ।
हनुमान जी से ही हमें यह ज्ञान प्राप्त होता है कि बिना किसी अपेक्षा के सेवा करने से व्यक्ति सिर्फ भक्त ही नहीं, भगवान बन सकता है। हनुमान जी का चरित्र रामकथा में इतना प्रखर है कि उसने राम के आदर्शों को गढ़ने में मुख्य कड़ी का काम किया है। रामकथा में हनुमान के चरित्र में हम जीवन के सूत्र हासिल कर सकते हैं। वीरता, साहस, सेवाभाव, स्वामिभक्ति, विनम्रता, कृतज्ञता, नेतृत्व और निर्णय क्षमता जैसे हनुमान के गुणों को अपने भीतर उतारकर हम सफलता के मार्ग पर अग्रसर हो सकते हैं।
इसलिए सत्य ही कहा गया है कि जब मैनाक पर्वत ने राम भक्त हनुमान को विश्राम के लिए कहा तब हनुमान जी ने कहा-
हनुमान तेहि परसा कर पुनि कीन्ह प्रनाम।
राम काजु कीन्हें बिनु मोहि कहाँ बिश्राम।।
हनुमान जी अपार बलशाली और वीर हैं, तो विद्वता में भी उनका सानी नहीं है। फिर भी उनके भीतर रंच मात्र भी अहंकार नहीं। आज के समय में थोड़ी शक्ति या बुद्धि हासिल कर व्यक्ति अहंकार से भर जाता है, किंतु बाल्यकाल में सूर्य को ग्रास बना लेने वाले हनुमान राम के समक्ष मात्र सेवक की भूमिका में रहते हैं।
वह जानते हैं कि सेवा ही कल्याणकारी मंत्र है। बल्कि जिसने भी अहंकार किया, उसका मद हनुमान जी ने चूर कर दिया। सीता हरण के बाद न सिर्फ तमाम बाधाओं से लड़ते हुए हनुमान समुद्र पार कर लंका पहुंचे, बल्कि अहंकारी रावण का मद चूर-चूर कर दिया। जिस स्वर्ण-लंका पर रावण को अभिमान था, हनुमान ने उसे ही दहन कर दिया।
यह रावण के अहंकार का प्रतीकात्मक दहन था। अपार बलशाली होते हुए भी हनुमान जी के भीतर अहंकार नहीं रहा। जहां उन्होंने राक्षसों पर पराक्रम दिखाया, वहीं वे श्रीराम, सीता और माता अंजनी के प्रति विनम्र भी रहे। उन्होंने अपने सभी पराक्रमों का श्रेय भगवान राम को ही दिया।
वह दृश्य किसकी स्मृति में नहीं होगा, जब हनुमान जी लक्ष्मण के मूर्छित होने पर संजीवनी बूटी ही नहीं, पूरा पर्वत ले आए थे। उनकी निष्काम सेवा भावना ने ही उन्हें भक्त से भगवान बना दिया।
पौराणिक ग्रंथों में एक कथा है कि भरत, लक्ष्मण व शत्रुघ्न ने भगवान राम की दिनचर्या बनाई, जिसमें हनुमान जी को कोई काम नहीं सौंपा गया? आग्रह करने पर उनसे राम को जम्हाई आने पर चुटकी बजाने को कहा गया। हनुमान जी भूख, प्यास व निद्रा का परित्याग कर सेवा को तत्पर रहते। रात को माता जानकी की आज्ञा से उन्हें कक्ष से बाहर जाना पड़ा। वे बाहर बैठकर निरंतर चुटकी बजाने लगे। हनुमान जी के जाने से श्रीराम को लगातार जम्हाई आने लगी। जब हनुमान ने भीतर आकर चुटकी बजाई, तब जम्हाई बंद हुई।
राम की वानर सेना का उन्होंने नेतृत्व जिस तरह किया, हम उनसे सीख ले सकते हैं। जब वे शापवश अपनी शक्तियों को भूल गए, तब याद दिलाए जाने पर उन्होंने समुद्रपार जाने में तनिक भी देर नहीं लगाई। वहीं लक्ष्मण को शक्ति लग जाने पर जब वे संजीवनी बूटी लाने पर्वत पर पहुंचे, तो भ्रम होने पर उन्होंने पूरा पर्वत ले जाने का त्वरित फैसला लिया। हनुमान जी के ये गुण अपनाकर ही हनुमान जयंती मनाना सफल होगा।
हनुमानजी आज भी हमारे बीच हैं। कहते हैं कि मानव जाति के इतिहास में हनुमानजी से बढ़कर कोई भक्त नहीं हुआ। भक्त तो बहुत हुए, जैसे भक्त प्रहलाद, भक्त नृसिंह मेहता, भैरवनाथ, वैष्णोदेवी के भक्त श्रीधर, शिव के अनेक भक्त आदि लेकिन हनुमानजी तो ऐसे हैं जैसे पर्वतों में हिमालय। तभी कहा जाता है-
प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबे को रसिया।
राम लखन सीता मन बसिया।।
वानरराज केसरी के यहाँ माता अंजनी के गर्भ से जन्मे हनुमानजी के लिए कहा जाता है कि वे हिन्दुओं के एकमात्र ऐसे देवता हैं जो सशरीर आज भी विद्यमान हैं। ।। जय श्री रामभक्त रुद्रावतार हनुमानजी ।।
Hanumanji’s incarnation day is celebrated on the full moon of Chaitra month. Due to Indra’s attack from Vajra, he came to be called Hanuman due to his breaking of Hanu (chin). We get knowledge from Hanuman ji that by serving without any expectation, a person can become not only a devotee but a god. Hanuman ji’s character is so sharp in Ramkatha that he has done the main link in creating the ideals of Rama. In Ramakatha, we can achieve the formula of life in the character of Hanuman. We can move on to the path of success by putting the qualities of Hanuman within our own qualities like valor, courage, service, loyalty, humility, gratitude, leadership and decision ability.
That is why the truth has been said that when Mount Manak asked Ram devotee Hanuman to rest, Hanuman ji said-
Hanuman Tehi Parsa and Puni Keenh Pranam. Ram Kaju Kinin Binu Mohi Where Bishram.
Hanuman ji is immense powerful and heroic, so he is not even able to scholarship. Nevertheless, there is not even ego just a Ranch within them. In today’s time, a person is filled with ego by achieving some power or intelligence, but in childhood, he lives in the role of a servant in front of Hanuman Ram, who makes the Sun Grass.
He knows that service is the welfare mantra. Rather, whoever did his ego, Hanuman ji crushed it. After Sita Haran, not only fought with all the obstacles, Hanuman crossed the sea and reached Lanka, but also crushed the item of the egoistic Ravana. The golden Lanka on which Ravana was proud of, Hanuman burnt him.
It was a symbolic combustion of Ravana’s ego. Despite being immense powerful, there is no ego within Hanuman ji. While he showed might on the demons, he was also humble towards Shri Ram, Sita and Mata Anjani. He credited all his might to Lord Rama.
Whose memory will not be in whose memory, when Hanuman ji brought Lakshmana to Sanjeevani Booti, not only Sanjeevani Booti. His fleeting service spirit made him God to God.
There is a legend in mythological texts that Bharata, Lakshmana and Shatrughan made the routine of Lord Rama, in which no work was assigned to Hanuman ji? On requesting him, he was asked to play a pinch when Ram came to yawning. Hanuman ji was ready to abandon hunger, thirst and sleep. At night, he had to go out of the room with the orders of Mata Janaki. They sat outside and started playing a pinch. Sri Ram started to yawning with Hanuman ji. When Hanuman came inside and played a pinch, the yawning stopped.
We can learn from the way he led Rama’s monkey army. When he cursed his powers, he did not take any time to go to the sea when he was reminded. At the same time, when Laxman felt power, when he reached the mountain to bring Sanjeevani Booti, he took a quick decision to take the entire mountain. It will be successful to celebrate Hanuman Jayanti by adopting these qualities of Hanuman ji.
Hanumanji is still among us today. It is said that in the history of mankind, there was no devotee more than Hanumanji. Devotees were enough, such as devotees Prahlada, devotee Narsingh Mehta, Bhairavnath, Vaishnodevi devotees Sridhar, many devotees of Shiva etc. are such as Hanumanji is like the Himalayas in the mountains.
