अध्यापिकाएं हड़बड़ी में निकलती हैं रोज सुबह घर से
आधे रास्ते में याद आता है सिलेंडर नीचे से बंद किया ही नहीं
उलझन में पड़ जाता है दिमाग
कहीं गीजर खुला तो नहीं रह गया
जल्दी में आधा सैंडविच छूटा रह जाता है टेबल पर

कितनी ही जल्दी उठें और तेजी से निपटायें काम विद्यालय पहुँचने में देर हो ही जाती है
खिसियाई हंसी के साथ बैठती हैं अपनी सीट पर
इंचार्ज के बुलावे पर सिहर जाती हैं
सिहरन को मुस्कुराहट में छुपाकर
नाखूनों में फंसे आटे को निकालते हुए
अटेंड करती हैं
काम करती हैं पूरी लगन से

पूछना नहीं भूलतीं बच्चों का हाल
सास की दवाई के बारे में
उनके पास नहीं होता वक्त पान, सिगरेट या चाय के लिए
बाहर जाने का
उस वक्त में वे जल्दी-जल्दी निपटाती हैं काम
ताकि समय से काम खत्म करके घर के लिए निकल सकें.
दिमाग में चल रही होती सामान की लिस्ट
जो लेते हुए जाना है घर
दवाइयां, दूध, फल, राशन

विद्यालय से निकलने को होती ही हैं कि
तय हो जाती है कोई ट्रेनिंग
जैसे देह से निचुड़ जाती है ऊर्जा
बच्चे की मनुहार जल्दी आने की
रुलाई बन फूटती है वाशरूम में
मुंह धोकर, लेकर गहरी सांस
शामिल होती है ट्रेनिंग में
नजर लगातार होती है घड़ी पर
और ज़ेहन में होती है बच्चे की गुस्से वाली सूरत
साइलेंट मोड में पड़े फोन पर आती रहती हैं ढेर सारी कॉल्स
दिल कड़ा करके वो ध्यान लगाती हैं ट्रेनिंग में

घर पहुंचती हैं सामान से लदी-फंदी
देर होने के संकोच और अपराधबोध के साथ
शिकायतों का अम्बार खड़ा मिलता है घर पर
जल्दी-जल्दी फैले हुए घर को समेटते हुए
सबकी जरूरत का सामान देते हुए
करती हैं डैमेज कंट्रोल

मन घबराया हुआ होता है कि कैसे बतायेंगी कैसे मनायेंगी सबको

विद्यालय में सोचती हैं
कितनी बार कहेंगी घर की समस्या की बात

अध्यापिकाएं सुबह ढेर सा काम करके जाती हैं घर से
कि शाम को आराम मिलेगा
रात को ढेर सारा काम करती हैं सोने से पहले
कि सुबह हड़बड़ी न हो

विद्यालय में तेजी से काम करती हैं कि घर समय पर पहुंचे
घर पर तेजी से काम करती हैं कि विद्यालय समय से पहुंचे

हर जगह सिर्फ काम को जल्दी से निपटाने की हड़बड़ी में
एक रोज मुस्कुरा देती हैं आईने में झांकते सफ़ेद बालों को देख

किसी मशीन में तब्दील हो चुकी अध्यापिकाओं से
कहीं कोई खुश नहीं न घर में, न विद्यालय में न मोहल्ले में,फिर भी कोशिश यही रहती है हर समय सबको खुश रख सकें।😊🙏
