भक्त के लिए भगवान धरते हैं कैसे-कैसे रूप……
श्रीजयदेव जी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के प्रेमी भक्त थे। आपके हृदय में श्रीकृष्ण प्रेम हिलौरे लेता रहता था। उसी प्रेम के ओत-प्रोत होकर आपने अमृत-रस के समान ”गीत-गोविन्द” नामक ग्रन्थ की रचना करनी प्रारम्भ की। ऐसे में एक दिन मान प्रकरण में आप, स्वयं भगवान श्रीकृष्ण श्रीमती राधारानी के पैर पकड़ेंगे, इस बात को लिखने का साहस नहीं कर पाये।
उसी उधेड़बुन में आप नदी में स्नान करने चले गये। आपको स्नान जाते हुए देख, भगवान श्रीकृष्ण स्वयं, जयदेव जी के रुप में आपके घर में प्रवेश करने लगे। आपकी पत्नी आपको इतनी शीघ्रता से अन्दर आता देख बोली, ”अभी-अभी तो आप स्नान करने गये थे और इतनी जल्दी आप वापिस कैसे आ गये?”
जयदेव रूपी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने उत्तर दिया, ”जाते-जाते एक बात मन में आ गई । बाद में कहीं भूल न जाऊ इसलिए लिखने आ गया। ‘
जयदेव रूपी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने भीतर जाकर, उन लिखे हुए पन्नों पर ”देहि पद पल्लवमुदारं” लिख कर कर उस श्लोक को पूरा कर दिया। कमरे से बाहर आ कर जयदेव रूपी भगवान श्रीकृष्ण ने कहा, ” अच्छा बहुत भूख लगी है। खाने के लिए कुछ है ? ”
श्रीमती पद्मावती जी ने आसन बिछाया, आपको बिठाया और ठाकुर को अर्पित किया हुआ भोग, आपके आगे सजाया। भगवान रूपी जयदेव उसे खाने लगे। कुछ देर बाद हाथ धोकर, अन्दर विश्राम को चले गए।
श्रीमती पद्मावती जी अभी पति द्वारा छोड़ा हुआ प्रसाद पाने बैठी ही थीं की किसी ने दरवाज़ा खटखटाया। उन्होंने उठ कर द्वार खोला तो देखा जयदेव जी खड़े हैं।
बड़ी हैरानी से बोलीं -”अभी आप स्नान से आये, कुछ लिखा, प्रसाद पाया, विश्राम के लिए भीतर चले गये मेरे मन में कुछ सन्देह होता है कि वो कौन थे और आप कौन हैं?”
परम भक्त जयदेव जी सब समझ गये। आप शीघ्रता से घर के भीतर गये आपका सारा ध्यान उस अधूरे श्लोक की ओर था जिसे आप आधा लिखा छोड़ कर गये थे। आप अपनी पोथी खोल कर दिव्य अक्षरों का दर्शन करने लगे। रोमांच हो आया आपको तथा प्रेमावेश में आपका हृदय उमड़ आया।
आपकी आंखों से अश्रु-धारायें प्रवाहित होने लगीं। आपने अपनी पत्नी से कहा, ”पहले मैं नहीं आया था, मेरे रूप में श्रीकृष्ण आये और उन्होंने वो श्लोक पूरा किया। तुम धन्य हो, तुम्हारा जीवन सार्थक है । तुमने श्रीकृष्ण का दर्शन किया और अपने हाथों से भोजन करवाया।

God takes so many forms for the devotee…
Shrijaydev ji was a loving devotee of Lord Shri Krishna. The love of Shri Krishna kept stirring in your heart. Filled with the same love, you started writing a book called “Geet-Govind” which was like nectar. In such a situation, you could not muster the courage to write that one day, Lord Shri Krishna himself will hold the feet of Shrimati Radharani in the Maan episode.
In that confusion you went to take bath in the river. Seeing you taking bath, Lord Shri Krishna himself started entering your house in the form of Jaidev ji. Your wife saw you coming in so quickly and said, “Just now you had gone to take a bath and how did you come back so quickly?”
Lord Shri Krishna in the form of Jaidev replied, “While leaving, one thing came to my mind. I came to write this down so that I don’t forget it later. ,
Lord Shri Krishna in the form of Jaidev went inside and completed that verse by writing “Dehi Pad Pallavmudaram” on those written pages. Coming out of the room, Lord Krishna in the form of Jaidev said, “Okay, I am very hungry.” have something to eat ? ,
Shrimati Padmavati ji spread the seat, made you sit and prepared the food offered to Thakur in front of you. Jaydev in the form of God started eating it. After some time, after washing hands, went inside to rest.
Mrs. Padmavati ji had just sat down to receive the prasad left by her husband when someone knocked at the door. He got up and opened the door and saw Jaidev ji standing there.
She said with great surprise – “Just now you came from the bath, wrote something, got the prasad, went inside to rest. I have some doubt in my mind as to who he was and who you are?”
Supreme devotee Jaidev ji understood everything. You quickly went inside the house, all your attention was towards the incomplete verse which you had left half written. You opened your book and started looking at the divine letters. You felt thrilled and your heart swelled with love.
Tears started flowing from your eyes. You said to your wife, “First I did not come, Shri Krishna came in my form and completed that verse. You are blessed, your life is meaningful. You had darshan of Shri Krishna and got food served with your own hands.
