कृष्ण कथा गायों और बछड़ों का भाग्य

एक दिन बाल कृष्ण एक वृक्ष के नीचे बैठे वासुरी बजा रहे थे,

तभी उनकी नजर यमुना किनारे खड़े एक छोटे से बछड़े पर पड़ी, बछड़ा पानी नहीं पी रहा था,

भगवान् झट उसके पास गए और उसके सिर पर हाथ फेरते हुए बोले, क्यों रे पानी क्यों नहीं पीता ?

बछड़ा वैसे ही खड़ा रहा, इतने में दाऊ जी आ गए पूछने लगे

तो बालकृष्ण बोले, देखो दाऊ! ये बछड़ा पानी नहीं पीता

दाऊ बोले, कान्हा ! तुम अपने पीताम्बर में पानी लेकर आओ, हम इसे यही पानी पिला देते है

बाल कृष्ण दौड़कर गए अपना पीताम्बर यमुना जी में गीला करके ले आये.

अब दाऊ जी पीताम्बर में से पानी निचोड़ने लगे और बाल कृष्ण हाथो का दौना बनाकर बछड़े के मुह पर लगा कर खड़े हो गए

अब जिसे स्वयं कृष्ण इतने लाड़ से पानी पिलाये वह पानी कैसे नहीं पीता.

बछड़ा तुरंत पानी पीने लगा, जब बछड़े ने पानी पी लिया, तब बाल कृष्ण ने उसके बैठने के लिए धरती साफ़ की,

फिर जब वह बैठ गया तब उसके लिए हरि-हरि घास तोड़कर अपने हाथो से खिलाने लगे

फिर जब वह तृप्त हो गया तब अपने पीताम्बर से उसे हवा करने लगे

जब भगवान् वासुरी बजाते तो बछड़े जो गाय का दूध पीते, उनके मुह का दूध मुह में ही रह जाता.

निष्तब्ध खड़े वासुरी सुनते गाये अपनी सुधबुध भूल जाती.

गोपियाँ गायों और बछड़ों के भाग्य की सराहना करते नहीं थकती..

वे कहती ये गईया और बछड़े कितने भाग्यशाली है जो कृष्ण इनसे इतना प्रेम करते है।ये तो सारे दिन वन में गायों के साथ ही रहते है

जब तक भगवान् की वासुरी गौए सुन नहीं लेती तब तक गौशाला से बाहर नहीं निकलती थी,

भगवान् भी एक एक गाय का नाम अपनी वासुरी में लेते, धौरी, श्यामा, नंदिनी, पदमगंधा, गाये अपने-अपने नाम जब वासुरी में सुनती तो दौड दौडकर कृष्ण के चारो और आकर खड़ी हो जाती,

और उन्हें अपनी जीभ से चाटकर अपना प्रेम व्यक्त करती

इस तरह भगवान श्री कृष्ण स्वयं सेवा करते थे ||

One day child Krishna was sitting under a tree and playing Vasuri. Then his eyes fell on a small calf standing on the banks of Yamuna, the calf was not drinking water. God immediately went to him and caressed his head and said, why doesn’t he drink water? The calf remained standing like that, meanwhile Dau ji came and started asking. So Balkrishna said, look Dau! This calf doesn’t drink water Dau said, Kanha! You bring water in your Pitambara, we will give him this water to drink. Child Krishna ran and got his grandfather wet in Yamuna. Now Dau ji started squeezing water from the pitambar and Bal Krishna made a towel with his hands and placed it on the mouth of the calf and stood up. Now, how can one who is given water to drink with such care by Krishna himself not drink it? The calf immediately started drinking water, when the calf drank the water, then child Krishna cleared the ground for him to sit, Then when he sat down, they plucked green grass for him and started feeding him with their own hands. Then when he was satisfied, he started fanning it with his pitamabar. When Lord Vasuri played, the milk would remain in the mouth of the calves who drank cow’s milk. Vasuri, standing motionless and listening to the cows, would forget her senses. Gopis never get tired of appreciating the fate of cows and calves. She says that these cows and calves are so lucky that Krishna loves them so much. They stay with the cows in the forest all day. Until God’s sister-in-law heard the cow, she would not come out of the cowshed. , God also used to take the name of each cow in his Vasuri, Dhauri, Shyama, Nandini, Padmagandha, whenever the cows heard their names in Vasuri, they would run and stand around Krishna. And she expresses her love by licking them with her tongue. In this way Lord Shri Krishna used to serve himself.
