मनुष्य का विनम्र स्वभाव उसे सबका प्रिय बना देता है। जिस प्रकार आभूषण सबको प्रिय लगते हैं उसी प्रकार व्यक्ति की विनम्रता सबको प्यारी लगती है,इसीलिए देखा जाता है कि विनम्र व्यवहार वाला व्यक्ति संसार में ऊंचाई पर पहुंच ही जाता है।
जितने भी महान व्यक्तित्व इस संसार में हुए उनके जीवन चरित्र में, उनको प्रभावशाली बनाने में, विनम्रता ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है।विनम्रता मानव का प्रथम गुण है।यह हमे उदार होना सिखाती है।पढ़िए।
एक संत अपने शिष्य के साथ जंगल में जा रहे थे। ढलान पर से गुजरते अचानक शिष्य का पैर फिसला और वह तेजी से नीचे की ओर लुढ़कने लगा। वह खाई में गिरने ही वाला था कि तभी उसके हाथ में बांस का एक पौधा आ गया। उसने बांस के पौधे को मजबूती से पकड़ लिया और वह खाई में गिरने से बच गया।
बांस धनुष की तरह मुड़ गया लेकिन न तो वह जमीन से उखड़ा और न ही टूटा. वह बांस को मजबूती से पकड़कर लटका रहा। थोड़ी देर बाद उसके गुरू पहुंचे।उन्होंने हाथ का सहारा देकर शिष्य को ऊपर खींच लिया। दोनों अपने रास्ते पर आगे बढ़ चले।राह में संत ने शिष्य से कहा- जान बचाने वाले बांस ने तुमसे कुछ कहा, तुमने सुना क्या?शिष्य ने कहा- “नहीं गुरुजी, शायद प्राण संकट में थे इसलिए मैंने ध्यान नहीं दिया और मुझे तो पेड-पौधों की भाषा भी नहीं आती. आप ही बता दीजिए उसका संदेश।”
गुरु मुस्कुराए- “खाई में गिरते समय तुमने जिस बांस को पकड़ लिया था, वह पूरी तरह मुड़ गया था।फिर भी उसने तुम्हें सहारा दिया और जान बची ली।”
संत ने बात आगे बढ़ाई- “बांस ने तुम्हारे लिए जो संदेश दिया वह मैं तुम्हें दिखाता हूं।” गुरू ने रास्ते में खड़े बांस के एक पौधे को खींचा औऱ फिर छोड़ दिया। बांस लचककर अपनी जगह पर वापस लौट गया।“हमें बांस की इसी लचीलेपन की खूबी को अपनाना चाहिए। तेज हवाएं बांसों के झुरमुट को झकझोर कर उखाड़ने की कोशिश करती हैं लेकिन वह आगे-पीछे डोलता मजबूती से धरती में जमा रहता है।”
“बांस ने तुम्हारे लिए यही संदेश भेजा है कि जीवन में जब भी मुश्किल दौर आए तो थोड़ा झुककर विनम्र बन जाना लेकिन टूटना नहीं क्योंकि बुरा दौर निकलते ही पुन: अपनी स्थिति में दोबारा पहुंच सकते हो।”
शिष्य बड़े गौर से सुनता रहा। गुरु ने आगे कहा- “बांस न केवल हर तनाव को झेल जाता है बल्कि यह उस तनाव को अपनी शक्ति बना लेता है और दुगनी गति से ऊपर उठता है।” “बांस ने कहा कि तुम अपने जीवन में इसी तरह लचीले बने रहना। गुरू ने शिष्य को कहा- *पुत्र पेड़-पौधों की भाषा मुझे भी नहीं आती। बेजुबान प्राणी हमें अपने आचरण से बहुत कुछ सिखाते हैं। विनम्र स्वभाव हमें भक्ति की ओर भी प्रेरित करता है।जय जय श्री राधे कृष्णा जी।श्री हरि आपका कल्याण करें।
The humble nature of a man makes him dear to all. Just as ornaments are loved by all, similarly the humility of a person is loved by all, that is why it is seen that a person with humble behavior reaches the height in the world. A saint was going to the forest with his disciple. While passing through the slope, suddenly the disciple’s foot slipped and he started rolling down rapidly. He was about to fall into the ditch when a bamboo plant came in his hand. He held on to the bamboo plant firmly and was saved from falling into the ditch.
The bamboo bent like a bow, but neither did it get uprooted from the ground nor did it break. He hung on holding the bamboo firmly. After some time his teacher arrived. He pulled the disciple up by giving support of his hand. Both of them went ahead on their way. On the way, the saint said to the disciple – The life-saving bamboo said something to you, did you hear?
Guru smiled- “The bamboo you held while falling into the ditch was completely bent. Still it supported you and saved your life.”
The saint took the matter further – “I will show you the message that the bamboo gave to you.” The Guru pulled a bamboo plant standing on the way and then left it. The bamboo flexed and returned to its place. “We should adopt this flexibility of bamboo. Strong winds try to uproot the clump of bamboo by shaking it, but it keeps on rocking back and forth firmly in the earth. Kept listening to The Guru further said- “Bamboo not only withstands every stress but it turns that stress into its strength and rises twice as fast.” “The bamboo said that you remain flexible in your life like this. The teacher said to the disciple- * Son, I do not even know the language of trees and plants. Speechless creatures teach us a lot by their conduct.
