गाइये गनपति जगजगबंदन।

सिद्धि-सदन, गज-बदन, बिनायक।
कृपा-सिंधु, सुन्दर, सब लायक।।२।।
मोदक-प्रिय, मुद-मंगल-दाता।
बिद्या-बारिधि, बुद्धि-बिधाता।।३।।
माँगत तुलसिदास कर जोरे।
बसहिं रामसिय मानस मोरे।।४।।

भावार्थ-
सम्पूर्ण जगत् के वन्दनीय, गणों के स्वामी श्री गणेशजी का गुणगान कीजिये, जो शिव- पार्वती के पुत्र और उनको प्रसन्न करनेवाले हैं।
जो सिद्धियों के स्थान हैं, जिनका हाथी का-सा मुख है, जो समस्त विघ्नों के नायक हैं यानी विघ्नों को हटानेवाले हैं, कृपा के समुद्र हैं, सुन्दर हैं, सब प्रकार से योग्य हैं।
जिन्हें लड्डू बहुत प्रिय हैं, जो आनन्द और कल्याण को देने वाले हैं, विद्या के अथाह सागर हैं, बुद्धि के विधाता हैं।
ऐसे श्री गणेशजी से यह तुलसीदास हाथ जोड़कर केवल यही वर माँगता है कि मेरे मनमन्दिर में श्री सीतारामजी सदा निवास करें।

gist- Praise the praises of Shri Ganeshji, the one who is worshiped by the entire world, the lord of the Ganas, who is the son of Shiva and Parvati and the one who pleases them.
Who is the place of accomplishments, who has the face like an elephant, who is the hero of all obstacles i.e. the one who removes obstacles, who is the ocean of grace, who is beautiful, who is worthy in every way.
Who loves laddus very much, who is the giver of happiness and welfare, who is the infinite ocean of knowledge, who is the creator of wisdom.
In this way, Tulsidas with folded hands asks only this boon from Shri Ganeshji that Shri Sitaramji should always reside in his temple.
