लंका में हनुमानजी ने आगे बढ़ते हुए एक छोटी कुटिया देखी। “श्रीराम” का नाम कुटीर की दीवार पर अंकित था, जो रत्नों की चमक के कारण स्पष्ट दिखाई दे रहा था।
छोटे छोटे धाराओं के बीच तुलसी के पौधे, केसर और सुगंधित फूल थे।
भगवान का एक छोटा सा मंदिर था, जो पत्तों की कुटीर के सामने भगवान के शस्त्र से बने चित्रों के साथ था। हनुमानजी को लंका में ये सब देख कर बहुत आश्चर्य हुआ।
वे उत्साहित थे!
ब्रह्ममुहूर्त का समय था। विभीषण उठे और “राम राम” का जाप करने लगे। हनुमानजी को यह विश्वास हो गया कि यह एक संत पुरुष है। हनुमानजी विभीषण का परिचय लेने के लिए उत्सुक होने लगे।
हनुमानजी ने ब्राह्मण का रूप धारण किया और ‘राम राम’ का उच्चारण किया। विभीषण तुरंत ही बाहर आ गए और भगवान श्री राम के दो भक्त एक-दूसरे से मिले।
उनके हृदय, प्रेम और आनंद से भर गए। हनुमानजी ने विभीषण के ह्रदय में साक्षात भगवान को देखा, और विभीषण, हनुमानजी को साक्षात भगवान के रूप में मानने लगे। दोनों में पहचान हुई। हनुमानजी ने उन्हें अपने दयालु भगवान श्रीराम के पवित्र चरित्र और सीताहरण की घटना को सुनाते हुए, अपने आने का कारण बताया।
विभीषण ने कहा – “प्रिय हनुमान! मैं यहां इस तरह से परेशानी में रहता हूं जैसे जीभ दांतों के बीच रहती है।
क्या प्रभु कभी मुझ अनाथ को अपनाएंगे?
मेरी जाति तमोगुणी है। मेरे पास भक्ति का कोई साधन नहीं है।
पहले मैं यह सोचता था कि अगर ईश्वर के चरणों में प्रेम नहीं है, तो मैं ईश्वर को पाने की आशा कैसे कर सकता हूं? लेकिन अब तुम्हें देखकर मेरा मन भर रहा है; क्योंकि भगवान की कृपा के बिना, उनके अनुग्रह संत प्रकट नहीं होते हैं। भगवान की कृपा से आप घर आए हैं और मुझे दर्शन दिया हैं। इतना तो तय है कि संतदर्शन ईश्वर से मिलने की निशानी है।
हनुमानजी ने कहा – विभीषण ! हमारे प्रभु बहुत दयालु है। वे हमेशा अपने भक्त के प्रति दयालु रहते हैं। आप अपने लिए बोलते हैं, लेकिन मैं कहाँ से हूँ? मैं तो एक साधारण वानर हूँ, चंचल और असहाय! अगर कोई प्रातःकाल मेरा नाम भी लेता है, तो उसे पूरे दिन भोजन नहीं मिलता।
सखा विभीषण ! भले ही मैं इतना अधम हूँ, पर फिर भी प्रभु की मुझ पर असीम कृपा रही है। जो लोग भगवान को दयालु जानकर भी उनकी पूजा नहीं करते, वह संसार में भटकते रहते है, वे दुखी क्यों न हो? ” भगवान के अपार गुणों को याद करते हुए, हनुमानजी का हृदय गद-गद हो रहा था।
उनकी आँखों में अश्रुओ की धारा बहने लगी। विभीषण और हनुमानजी के बीच काफी बातें हुईं। फिर विभीषण ने माता सीता के बारे में बताते हुये उनको अशोक वाटिका भेजा। इस प्रकार हनुमान पहुंचे लंका और वहां हनुमान विभीषण मिलन हुआ।

Meeting of Shri Hanuman and Vibhishan!!!!
While moving ahead in Lanka, Hanumanji saw a small hut. The name of “Shri Ram” was inscribed on the wall of the cottage, which was clearly visible due to the glitter of the gems.
There were basil plants, saffron and fragrant flowers between the small streams.
There was a small temple of the Lord in front of the cottage of leaves with images made of the Lord’s weapons. Hanumanji was very surprised to see all this in Lanka.
They were excited!
It was time for Brahmamuhurta. Vibhishan got up and started chanting “Ram Ram”. Hanumanji came to believe that this is a saintly man. Hanumanji started getting eager to get the introduction of Vibhishan.
Hanumanji assumed the form of a Brahmin and chanted ‘Ram Ram’. Vibhishana immediately came out and the two devotees of Lord Sri Rama met each other.
Their hearts were filled with love and joy. Hanumanji saw the real God in Vibhishan’s heart, and Vibhishan started considering Hanumanji as the real God. Identified in both. Hanumanji told him the reason for his visit, narrating the pious character of his merciful Lord Shriram and the incident of Sitaharan.
Vibhishan said – “Dear Hanuman! I live here in trouble like the tongue between the teeth.
Will the Lord ever adopt me an orphan?
My caste is tamoguni. I don’t have any means of devotion.
Earlier I used to think that if there is no love at the feet of God, how can I expect to find God? But now seeing you my heart is full; Because without the grace of the Lord, His grace saints do not appear. By the grace of God you have come home and given me darshan. This much is certain that seeing a saint is a sign of meeting God.
Hanumanji said – Vibhishan! Our Lord is very kind. He is always kind to his devotee. You speak for yourself, but where am I from? I am just a simple monkey, fickle and helpless! If someone even utters my name in the morning, he does not get food for the whole day.
Friend Vibhishan! Even though I am so lowly, but still the Lord has shown immense kindness to me. Those who do not worship God even after knowing him to be merciful, they keep wandering in the world, why should they be unhappy? Remembering the immense qualities of the Lord, Hanumanji’s heart was breaking.
Streams of tears started flowing in his eyes. Many things happened between Vibhishan and Hanumanji. Then Vibhishan sent her to Ashok Vatika telling about Mother Sita. Thus Hanuman reached Lanka and Hanuman met Vibhishan there.
