पुरुषोत्तम स्तोत्रम्

नमस्ते भगवान देव, लोकनाथ जगतपते।
क्षीरोदवासिनं देवं शेषभोगानुशायिनम्।।

हे भगवान देव, हे जगत के स्वामी, हे क्षीर समुद्र में वास करने वाले, हे शेषनाग के आराम करने वाले आपको नमस्कार है।

वरं वरेण्यं वरदं कर्तारं अकृतं प्रभुं।
विश्वेश्वरं अजं विष्णुं सर्वज्ञं अपराजितम्।।

जो सबसे श्रेष्ठ हैं, जिसे श्रेष्ठ गुणों से युक्त माना गया है, जो वरदान देने वाला है, जो सृष्टि कर्ता है, जो विश्वेश्वर है, जो सदा विष्णु रूप में उपस्थित है, जो सब जानने वाला है, जो पराजयी नहीं हो सकता,

नीलोत्पलदलश्यामं पुंडरीकनिबेक्षणम्।
सर्वज्ञं निर्गुणं शान्तं जगद्दातारव्ययम्।।

जो नीलकंठ के समान नीले और उत्पल के पत्तों वाला है, जिसकी आंखें पुंडरीक फूल की तरह हैं, जो सब जानने वाला है, जो निर्गुण है, जो शांत है, जो संसार के पालक और अविनाशी है,

सर्वलोकविदातारं सर्वलोकसुखावहम्।
पुराणं पुरुषं वेद्यं व्यक्ताव्यक्तं सनातनम्।।

जो सब लोकों के ज्ञाता हैं, सब लोकों को सुख प्रदान करने वाला है, पुराण हैं, पुरुष हैं, जो ज्ञात होने योग्य हैं, जो व्यक्त और अव्यक्त हैं, जो सनातन हैं,

परवरानां सृष्टारां लोकनाथं जगद्गुरुम्।
श्रीवत्सोरस्कसंयुक्तं वनमाला विभूषितम्।।

जो सब ऊँचा हैं, जो सब सृष्टियों के पालक हैं, जगद्गुरु हैं, जो श्रीवत्स मार्क और वनमाला से सुशोभित हैं,

पितवस्त्रं चतुर्बाहुं शंखचक्रगदाधरम्।
हारक्रीयूरसंयुक्तं मुक्तांगदधारिणम्।।

जो पितामह के वस्त्र को धारण करते हैं, चार हाथों वाले हैं, शंख, चक्र, गदा और पुरुषोत्तम सेतु को संयुक्त रूप में धारण करते हैं, मुक्तांगद धारी हुए हैं,

सर्वलक्षणसम्पूर्णं सर्वेन्द्रियविवर्जीतम्।
कूटस्थं अचलं सूक्ष्मं ज्योतिरूपं सनातनम्।।

जो सभी लक्षणों से सम्पूर्ण हैं, सभी इंद्रियों से रहित हैं, कूटस्थ हैं, अचल हैं, सूक्ष्म हैं, ज्योति के समान हैं, सनातन हैं,

भावाभावं विनिर्मुक्तं व्यापिनं प्रकृतेः परम्।
नमस्यामि जगन्नाथम् ईश्वरं सुखदं प्रभुम्।।

जो भावों और अभावों से मुक्त हैं, प्रकृति के परे व्याप्त हैं, जो सम्पूर्ण जगत के स्वामी हैं, जो ईश्वर हैं, सुखदायी हैं, प्रभु हैं, उन
जगन्नाथ जी को मेरा नमस्कार है।

इत्येवं धर्मराजस्तु पुरन्याक्रोध सन्निधौ।
स्तुत्वा नाना विधैः स्तोत्रैः प्रणामं अकरोद तदा।।

इस प्रकार, यमराज ने पुरंयाक्रोध के समीप में भगवान की प्रशंसा करते हुए विभिन्न प्रकार के स्तोत्रों द्वारा प्रणाम किया।

He who knows all the worlds and brings happiness to all the worlds. The ancient Purusha, the knowable, the manifest and the unmanifest, the eternal.

He who is the knower of all the worlds, the giver of happiness to all the worlds, Puranas, Purusha, who is to be known, who is manifest and unmanifest, who is eternal,

Creator of the best of others, Lord of the worlds and teacher of the universe. It is adorned with a garland of forests and is adorned with a shrivatsa chest.

Who is the highest of all, who is the maintainer of all creations, who is Jagadguru, who is adorned with the Srivatsa mark and Vanmala,

The pervasive, freed from the absence of being, is beyond nature. I offer my obeisances to Lord of the universe, the Lord, the giver of happiness.

One who is free from passions and wants, who pervades beyond nature, who is the master of the whole world, who is God, the giver of happiness, the Lord, My salutations to Jagannath ji.
