जैसा कि हम सभी जानते हैं कि भगवान श्रीहरि ने सदा अपने भक्तों की रक्षा हेतु अनेक अवतार लिए और प्राणी मात्र का उद्धार किया। सभी अवतारों के पृथक रूप, गुण, हेतु, कथा आदि हैं परंतु श्री कृष्णावतार को श्रीहरि विष्णु का पूर्णावतार कहा जाता है क्योंकि वो 64 कलाओं से युक्त थे। उनकी लीलाएं सम्पूर्ण संसार में फैली हैं अथवा समस्त भक्तों के मन को लालायित करती हैं। कृष्णावतार में केवल श्रीकृष्ण ही दुर्लभ नहीं थे अपितु सभी देवी–देवताओं ने कन्हैया के साथ अवतार लेकर श्रीकृष्ण लीला को सफल बनाया ।
पौराणिक धर्म ग्रंथों के अनुसार जब भगवान ने देवताओं को पृथ्वी पर जन्म लेने का आदेश दिया तो उन्होंने भगवान से विनती की कि उन्हें किसी ऐसे रूप में अवतरित किया जाए, जिससे भगवान का साथ एवं उनके श्री अंगों को स्पर्श करने की उनकी जो मनोकामना है, वह पूर्ण हो सके, तभी वे धरती पर जन्म लेंगे। जिस पर भगवान ने मुस्कुराकर उन्हें आश्वासन दिया कि जो वे चाहते हैं, वही होगा। उनकी यह इच्छा अवश्य पूर्ण होगी। तो आइए जानते हैं कि ब्रज लीला में कौन-से देवता ने लिया कौन-सा रूप?
स्वयं भगवान श्रीहरि ही नंदबाबा के रूप में अवतरित हुए।
मुक्ति महारानी ने लिया मैया यशोदा का रूप
श्रीहरि की माया, माता देवकी एवं वेद, भगवान वासुदेव जी के रूप में प्रकट हुए।
दया रानी ने माता रोहिणी का रूप लिया एवं शेषनाग बलराम जी के रूप में अवतरित हुए।
वेदो की ऋचाएं एवं राम अवतार में मिले सभी ऋषि–मुनियों ने गोपियों के रूप में जन्म लिया एवं भगवान का परमानंददायक आलिंगन प्राप्त किया।
वैकुंठ ने गोकुल एवं वहां के तपस्वी महात्माओं ने वृक्ष का रूप धारण किया।
गोप रूप में स्वयं भगवान विष्णु ही विराजमान हुए।
ब्रह्मा जी ने कन्हैया की लकुटी का रूप लिया।
भक्ति देवी, वृन्दा रूप में प्रकट हुईं एवं देवर्षि नारद श्रीदामा सखा बने
श्रीकृष्ण के परम मित्र सुदामा बने एवं सत्य ने अक्रूर जी का रूप धारण किया।
माता पृथ्वी ही पटरानी सत्यभामा के रूप में और वेदों की ऋचाएं अन्य पटरानियों के रूप में अवतरित हुईं।
भगवान शिव ने मधुर तान वाली कन्हैया की बंसी का रूप लिया और हमेशा कन्हैया के अधरों पर शोभायमान रहे।
देवराज इंद्र ने भगवान के पीताम्बर के रूप में जन्म लिया।
महर्षि कश्यप और माता अदिति, नंदबाबा के घर में उस ऊखल एवं रस्सी के रूप में प्रकट हुए, जिससे दामोदर लीला के दौरान मैया यशोदा ने कन्हैया को बांधा था।
क्षीर सागर को गोपियों के घर में दूध-दही के रूप में अवतरित किया गया, जिसमें सखाओं के सहित नहाकर एवं जिसे खाकर कन्हैया ने अपना बचपन गुजारा था।
द्वारपाल जय ने कंस, लोभ-क्रोध ने दैत्य, द्वेष ने चारुण, मत्सर ने मुष्टिक, दर्प ने कुवलयापीड़ हाथी, गर्व ने बकासुर राक्षस एवं महाव्याधि ने अघासुर का रूप धारण किया और कृष्ण कन्हैया के हाथों, मुक्ति पाई।
श्रीहरि के वाहन, गरुड़, भाण्डीर वट बने और धर्म चंवर के रूप में प्रकट हुए।
महेश्वर – शंख, वायु देव – वैजयन्ती माला और निम्बार्क भगवान – सुदर्शन चक्र का रूप धारणकर लीला के पात्र बने। इस प्रकार सभी देवी-देवताओं और निज पार्षदों को भगवान ने अपनी कृष्णावतार की अद्भुत लीला का हिस्सा बनाकर उन्हें कृतार्थ किया….

As we all know that Lord Sri Hari always took many incarnations to protect his devotees and saved the living beings. All incarnations have different forms, qualities, motives, stories etc. but Shri Krishna Avatar is called the full incarnation of Shri Hari Vishnu because he was possessed of 64 arts. His pastimes are spread all over the world or excite the hearts of all the devotees. Not only Shri Krishna was rare in Krishna Avatar, but all the Gods and Goddesses incarnated with Kanhaiya and made Shri Krishna Leela successful.
According to mythological scriptures, when God ordered the gods to take birth on earth, they requested God to incarnate them in such a form that they desired to be with God and touch His Sri Angas. He can be fulfilled, only then he will be born on earth. To which the Lord smiled and assured them that whatever they wished would happen. His wish will definitely be fulfilled. So let’s know which deity took which form in Braj Leela?
Lord Shri Hari himself incarnated in the form of Nandbaba.
Mukti Maharani took the form of Maiya Yashoda
Sri Hari’s Maya, Mother Devaki and Vedas appeared in the form of Lord Vasudev.
Daya Rani took the form of Mata Rohini and Sheshnag incarnated as Balram.
The hymns of the Vedas and all the sages and sages found in the incarnation of Ram took birth as gopis and received the blissful embrace of the Lord.
Vaikunth took the form of Gokul and the ascetic sages there took the form of a tree.
Lord Vishnu himself sat in the form of Gopas.
Brahma ji took the form of Kanhaiya’s stick.
Bhakti Devi appeared in the form of Vrinda and Devarshi Narad became Sridama’s friend.
Sudama became the best friend of Shri Krishna and Satya took the form of Akrur ji.
Mother Earth incarnated in the form of queen Satyabhama and the hymns of the Vedas incarnated as other queens.
Lord Shiva took the form of Kanhaiya’s flute with a sweet tone and always remained beautiful on Kanhaiya’s lips.
Devraj Indra took birth as Pitambar of God.
Maharishi Kashyap and Mata Aditi appeared in Nandbaba’s house in the form of the noose and rope with which Mother Yashoda had tied Kanhaiya during the Damodar Leela.
Kshir Sagar was incarnated in the form of milk-curd in the house of Gopis, in which Kanhaiya spent his childhood by bathing and eating along with his friends.
Dwarpal Jai took the form of Kansa, Greed-anger as a demon, Hatred as Charun, Jealousy as Mushtik, Darp as Kuvalayapid elephant, Pride as Bakasura demon and Mahavyadhi as Aghasura and got salvation at the hands of Krishna Kanhaiya.
Shri Hari’s vehicle, Garuda, became Bhandir Vat and appeared as Dharma Chanvar.
Maheshwar – Conch, Vayu Dev – Vaijayanti Mala and Lord Nimbarka – took the form of Sudarshan Chakra and became characters of Leela. In this way, God made all the deities and his councilors a part of the wonderful leela of his Krishna incarnation and made them grateful….
