श्यामा श्याम के नखरे 💗

आनंदी बाई का जन्म एक ब्राह्मण कुल में हुआ.. भगवत-सेवा, वैष्णव-सेवा का बचपन से ही इनमे तीव्र अनुराग था.

विवाह के पूर्व ही पति का देहांत हो गया तब तो संसार से विरक्त होकर भगवत सेवा में निमग्न हो गई.

पिता ने एक मंदिर बनवा दिया जिसमे श्रीआनंदवल्लभ – श्रीराधाजी की प्रतिष्ठा की. और कुछ समय बाद श्रीधाम वृंदावन आ गई.

उन्होंने अपने अति लाडले पुत्र श्री आनंदवल्लभ और प्यारी पुत्र वधु श्रीराधा जी के श्री अर्चविग्रह को अमृतसर से लाकर वृंदावन में प्रतिष्ठित किया.

श्री आनंदवल्लभ जी में आनंदी बाई जी का शुद्ध “वात्सल्य-भाव” था.

यू तो वे रामानुज संप्रदाय से दीक्षित थी परन्तु शुरू से ही श्री राधाकृष्ण में दृढ निष्ठा थी.

युगल सरकार की रसिकता में बिमुग्ध रहती और प्राणवत उनकी सेवा करती.

राधाकृष्ण को पुत्र और पुत्र वधु मानती थी, और पुत्र और पुत्र वधु ऐसे कि अपनी मनचाही सेवा लेते, राजी, राजी नहीं तो बिगड़ कर मचल कर भी माँ को सेवा के लिए विवश कर देते.

एक दिन की बात है माँ आनंदी बाई मंदिर के बाहर बैठी रो रही थी.

उसी समय एक बाबा किशोरीदास जी वहाँ से निकले जब आनंदी बाई को रोते हुए देखा तो बाबा ने पूँछा, माँ ! क्या हो गया क्यों रोती हो ?

वे बोली, बेटा ! क्या करूँ ? आज बहुरानी बड़ी मचल रही है..

कल की बात है, मै बाजार गई थी वहाँ मैंने मुंशी की दुकान पर एक साड़ी देखी, किन्तु बहुत कीमती थी इसलिए उसे छोड़कर दूसरी साड़ी ले आई,

बहू राधा उसे पहिन ही नहीं रही है मै पहिनाती हूँ, वह उसे उतार कर फेक देती है.

जिद्द पर अड़ गई है, कहती है पहिरुगी तो वही साड़ी जिसे तू कल छोड़ आई है .

बाबा ने माँ को आश्वस्त किया और वही साड़ी ले आये.. माँ ने साड़ी लाकर सामने रखी,

तुरंत राधा जी ने अपने आप उस साड़ी को ऐसे कलात्मक ढंग से पहिन लिया कि माँ बाबा तो क्या, समस्त दर्शक भी उस दिन साड़ी की लहरदार लपेटो को देखकर रह गए.

इसी तरह आनंद वल्लभ जी को सूजी का हलवा इतना प्रिय था कि एक दिन भी यदि भोग में हलवा न आवे तो भोजन छोड़ कर दूर बैठ जाते.

आनंद बाई को कभी-कभी अमृतसर जाना पडता, रुपये पैसे कि व्यवस्था करने के लिए.

क्योकि उनके पुत्र और पुत्र वधु इतने खर्चीले जो थे, वे हमेशा कर्ज में ही रहती थी

एक बार वे अमृतसर से गंगा स्नान के लिए हरिद्वार चली गई पीछे एक पुजारी जी को सब समझा गई,

अब पुजारी जी ने गुंजाईश न होने के कारण हलवे का भोग बंद कर दिया.

एक दिन दो दिन देखा फिर श्री आनंद वल्लभ हरिद्वार ही जा पहुँचे.

स्वपन में कहा, माँ ! मुझे तीन दिन से हलवा नही मिल रहा है तुम शीघ्र चलो..

माँ दूसरे दिन ही सबेरे हरिद्वार से वृंदावन आ पहुँची आने पर पता चला कि वास्तव में तीन दिन से लाड़ले को हलवा नहीं मिल रहा है.

इस प्रकार हजारों नाज नखरे सहती हुई आनंदी बाई आनंद से फूली न समाती..

श्री युगल किशोर को रिझाने के लिए अनेको प्रकार के उत्सव, संगीत कार्येक्रम, तो कभी फूल बंगला, कभी नौका बिहार आदि महोत्सव मनाती..

आज भी श्री धाम वृंदावन में “आनंदी बाई के मंदिर” के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है इस मंदिर का निर्माण आनंदी बाई ने संवत १६६३ में कराया था.

Anandi Bai was born in a Brahmin clan. She had a strong affection for Bhagwat-seva, Vaishnav-seva since childhood.

When her husband died before marriage, she became detached from the world and engaged in the service of God.

Father built a temple in which Shri Anandvallabh – Shriradhaji was honored. And after some time Shridham came to Vrindavan.

He brought the idols of his dearest son Shri Anandvallabh and beloved daughter-in-law Shriradha ji from Amritsar and established them in Vrindavan.

Shri Anandvallabh ji had pure “vatsalya-bhaav” of Anandi Bai ji.

She was initiated into the Ramanuja sect but had a strong devotion to Sri Radhakrishna from the beginning.

The couple used to be engrossed in the courtship of the government and would serve them wholeheartedly.

She used to consider Radhakrishna as son and son as bride, and son and son as bride would take any service they want, agree, if not agree, they would force the mother to serve even after getting upset.

Once upon a time Mother Anandi Bai was crying sitting outside the temple. , At the same time Baba Kishoridas ji came out from there, when he saw Anandi Bai crying, Baba asked, Mother! What happened, why do you cry?

She said, son! What to do ? Today the daughter-in-law is having a lot of fun.

It is a matter of yesterday, I had gone to the market, there I saw a saree at Munshi’s shop, but it was very expensive, so left it and brought another saree,

Daughter-in-law Radha is not even wearing it, I wear it, she takes it off and throws it away.

She is adamant, says that she will wear the same saree which you had left yesterday.

Baba assured mother and brought the same saree.. Mother brought the saree and placed it in front of her.

Immediately Radha ji herself wore that saree in such an artistic way that not only mother and father, even all the spectators were left stunned to see the wavy drape of the saree that day.

Similarly, Anand Vallabh ji loved semolina pudding so much that even for a day, if pudding did not come in the enjoyment, he would leave the food and sit away.

Sometimes Anand Bai had to go to Amritsar, to arrange money of Rs.

Because her son and daughter-in-law were so extravagant, she was always in debt.

Once she went from Amritsar to Haridwar to bathe in the Ganges, everything was explained to a priest behind her.

Now the priest has stopped the enjoyment of halwa due to lack of scope.

Saw one day or two days, then Mr. Anand Vallabh reached Haridwar.

Said in the dream, mother! I am not getting halwa for three days, you go soon..

When mother reached Vrindavan from Haridwar in the morning the next day, she came to know that in fact the beloved is not getting halwa for three days.

In this way, Anandi Bai, bearing thousands of proud tantrums, could not contain her joy.

Various types of festivals, music programs, sometimes Phool Bungalow, sometimes Nauka Bihar etc. are celebrated to woo Mr. Yugal Kishore.

Even today Shri Dham is famous in Vrindavan by the name of “Anandi Bai’s Temple”. This temple was built by Anandi Bai in Samvat 1663.
