मेरे तो बहिन-बहनोई दोनों हैं

जनकपुरमें एक विधवा ब्राह्मणी रहती थी। उसके एक छोटा लड़का था।

एक बार वह कुछ लोगोंके साथ चित्रकूट जा रही थी। रास्तेमें विधवाका लड़का अकेला एक जंगलमें चला गया। वह मिल नहीं रहा था किंतु विधवाके मनमें यह दृढ़ विश्वास था कि ‘रामजी अपने सालेको कहीं खोने नहीं देंगे।’ (जनकपुरकी होनेके कारण वह अपनेको श्रीरामललाजीकी सास मानती थी ।)

इधर लड़का जंगलमें घूम रहा था कि उसको एक तेजस्विनी स्त्री मिली। उसने बड़े प्यारसे उससे पूछा ‘भैया! तुम मेरे साथ चलोगे ?’ लड़केने कहा- ‘तू कौन है ?” स्त्री- ‘मैं तेरी बहिन हूँ।’इसी समय एक सुन्दर तरुण पुरुष वहाँ आ पहुँचा और उसने कहा—’यह अपने घर नहीं जायगा, मैं इसको अभी इसकी माँके पास पहुँचा आता हूँ।’

उधर विधवा और उसके साथवाले लोग भी रास्ता भूल गये थे। चलते-चलते उनको घास काटती हुई एक स्त्री मिली। उसने उनको ठीक रास्ता बता दिया। आगे फिर एक पुरुष मिला। उससे भी रास्ता पूछकर वे लोग आगे बढ़े। वहाँ जानेपर विधवाको उसका लड़का मिल गया। वह बहुत ही प्रसन्न था। जब उससे पूछा गया तब उसने बताया कि ‘माँ! तू तो कहती थी कि तेरे कोई नहीं है। मेरे तो | बहिन-बहनोई दोनों हैं।’ उसने सारा प्रसङ्ग सुनाया, जिसे सुनकर विधवा गद्गद हो गयी । – कु0 रा0

A widowed Brahmin lived in Janakpur. He had a little boy.
Once she was going to Chitrakoot with some people. On the way the widow’s son went alone in a forest. He could not be found, but the widow had a strong belief that ‘Ramji will not let his brother-in-law get lost anywhere’. (Being from Janakpur, she considered herself to be the mother-in-law of Shri Ramlalaji.)
Here the boy was roaming in the forest that he found a stunning woman. He asked him very lovingly, ‘Brother! Will you come with me?’ The boy said – ‘Who are you?’
On the other hand, the widow and her companions had also lost their way. While walking, he found a woman cutting grass. He showed them the right path. Next again a man was found. After asking him the way, they went ahead. On going there the widow found her son. He was very happy. When she was asked, she told that ‘Mother! You used to say that you have no one. mine then Both are sister and brother-in-law. He narrated the whole episode, hearing which the widow became overjoyed. – Ku 0 Ra 0
