माँ ईश्वरका प्रतिरूप है
डॉo Wayne Dyer ( वायने डायर) का ‘Your Sacred Self (योर सैक्रेड सेल्फ) में दिया निम्नलिखित दृष्टान्त ‘ईश्वर’ की अवधारणा सम्बन्धी सर्वश्रेष्ठ व्याख्याओंमेंसे एक माना जाता है
एक माताके गर्भ में दो बच्चे थे। एक दूसरेसे पूछता है, ‘क्या तुम प्रसवके बाद जीवनमें विश्वास रखते हो ?’
दूसरा जवाब देता है, ‘बिलकुल, प्रसवके बाद निश्चित ही कुछ होगा और यहाँपर हम शायद उसी बादवाले जीवनके लिये तैयार हो रहे हैं।’
‘निरर्थक बात’, पहलावाला कहता है ‘प्रसवके बाद कोई जीवन नहीं है, कैसा जीवन होगा वह ! !’
दूसरा कहता है, ‘मैं नहीं जानता, लेकिन वहाँपर यहाँसे अधिक प्रकाश होगा। सम्भव है, हम अपने पैरोंपर चलें, मुँहसे खायें। हो सकता है हमारी अन्य इन्द्रियाँ हों, जिन्हें हम अभी नहीं समझ सकते।’
पहला जवाब देता है, ‘बेतुकी बात, चलना असम्भव है और मुँहसे खाना ? हास्यास्पद! नाभिनालसे ही हमें हमारा पोषण और अन्य आवश्यकताओंकी पूर्ति होती है, लेकिन नाभिनाल तो बहुत छोटी है। इसलिये प्रसवके बाद जीवन तर्कसंगत नहीं बैठता।’
दूसरा आग्रह करता है, ‘ठीक है, पर मुझे लगता है कि वहाँपर यहाँसे अलग होगा। हो सकता है कि हमें इस नाभिनालकी जरूरत ही न पड़े।’
पहला जवाब देता है, ‘असंगत बात; अच्छा मान भी लें कि वहाँ जीवन है तो वहाँसे कभी कोई लौटकर क्यों नहीं आया ? सच यही है कि प्रसव जीवनका अन्त है और प्रसवके बाद कुछ नहीं है; है तो सिर्फ अँधेरा, खामोशी और विस्मरण। यह हमें कहीं और नहीं ले जाता।’
‘ठीक है, मैं नहीं जानता’, दूसरा बोला, ‘लेकिन हम निश्चित रूपसे ‘माँ’ से मिलेंगे और वह हमारी देखभाल करेगी।’
पहला चौंकता है, “माँ!!’, तुम ‘माँ’ में विश्वास
रखते हो! यह तो हास्यास्पद है। अगर ‘माँ’ है तो इससमय वह कहाँ है ?’
दूसरा कहता है, “वह’ हमारे चारों तरफ है, हम ‘उससे’ घिरे हुए हैं। हम ‘उसके’ हैं। हम ‘उसी ‘के अन्दर रहते हैं। ‘उसके’ बिना यह दुनिया न होती और न हो सकती थी।’
पहला कहता है, ‘लेकिन मुझे तो वह नहीं दीखती। इसलिये तर्कसंगत यही है कि ‘उस’का अस्तित्व नहीं है।’
अब दूसरा समझाता है, ‘कभी-कभी, जब तुम शान्त हो और ध्यानपूर्वक सुनो, तब तुम ‘उस’ की उपस्थितिको महसूस कर सकते हो और तुम ‘उस’की प्यारभरी आवाज भी सुन सकते हो, जो ऊपरसे तुम्हें पुकारती है।’

mother is the image of god
The following quote from Dr. Wayne Dyer’s ‘Your Sacred Self’ is considered one of the best explanations of the concept of ‘God’
A mother had two children in her womb. One asks the other, ‘Do you believe in life after birth?’
The other answers, ‘Of course, there is bound to be something after birth and here we are probably getting ready for that afterlife.’
‘Nonsense’, says the first one. ‘There is no life after birth, what kind of life would that be! ,
The other says, ‘I don’t know, but there will be more light over there than here. It is possible that we walk on our feet, eat with our mouths. We may have other senses which we do not yet understand.’
The first answers, ‘Absurd talk, it is impossible to walk and eat acne? ridiculous! We get our nutrition and other needs from the umbilical cord itself, but the umbilical cord is very small. That’s why life after delivery doesn’t make sense.’
The other insists, ‘Okay, but I think it’s going to be different over there than here. It is possible that we may not need this umbilical cord at all.
The first answers, ‘Irreconcilable talk; Even if we accept that there is life, then why has no one ever returned from there? The truth is that birth is the end of life and there is nothing after birth; There is only darkness, silence and oblivion. It doesn’t take us anywhere.’
‘Well, I don’t know’, said another, ‘but we shall certainly meet ‘Mother’ and she will take care of us.’
The first one wonders, “Mother!!’, you believe in ‘Mother’
Do you keep This is ridiculous. If there is ‘mother’ then where is she at present?’
The other says, “He is all around us, we are surrounded by Him. We are His. We live in Him. Without Him this world would not and could not exist.”
The first says, ‘But I don’t see her. Therefore it is logical that ‘that’ does not exist.
Now another explains, ‘Sometimes, when you are silent and listen attentively, you can feel the presence of Him and you can even hear the loving voice of Him calling you from above.’
