हमारी गलत चालें भगवान्की नजरमें
यहूदी सन्त सिम्शा बनेन अपने पड़ोसीके पापपूर्ण जीवनको देखकर बहुत दुखी होते थे। उनके पड़ोसीको शतरंजका शौक था। एक बार सन्त बुनेनने उसे शतरंज खेलनेके लिये अपने घर बुलाया । खेलके दौरान उन्होंने जान-बूझकर एक गलत चाल चली और जब वह व्यक्ति उनके मोहरेको मारने लगा तो सन्त बुनेन ‘माफ कीजिये’ कहकर अपने मोहरेको वापस लेने लगे। उस व्यक्तिने उन्हें चाल वापस लेने की अनुमति दे दी। थोड़ी देर बाद सन्तने पुनः एक गलत चाल चली और मोहरा पिटनेसे पहले ही फिरसे माफी माँगते हुए चाल वापस लेने लगे।
इसपर वह व्यक्ति नाराज हो गया और बोला- ‘मैंने आपको एक बार चाल वापस क्या लेने दी, आप तो बार-बार चाल वापस लेने लगे। अब मैं आपको चाल वापस लेनेकी अनुमति नहीं दूँगा ।’
तब सन्त बुनेन हँसकर बोले- ‘मेरे भाई! तुम खेलमें मुझे अपनी दो गलत चालें भी वापस नहीं लेने देते और असली जिन्दगीमें सोचते हो कि तुम गलत पर गलत चालें चलते रहोगे और खुदा उन्हें हमेशा नजरअंदाज करता रहेगा! ध्यान रखो-गलत चालोंका अंजाम हमेशा बुरा होता है, इसलिये हमें हमेशा अच्छे काम ही करने चाहिये।’
Our wrong moves in the eyes of God
The Jewish saint Simsha Banen used to be very sad to see the sinful life of his neighbor. His neighbor was fond of chess. Once Saint Bunen invited him to his house to play chess. During the game, he deliberately made a wrong move and when the person started to kill his piece, Sant Bunen took back his piece by saying ‘I’m sorry’. The person allowed him to take the trick back. After some time, the saint again made a wrong move and before the pawn was beaten, again apologizing, started withdrawing the move.
On this the person got angry and said- ‘What did I allow you to take back the trick once, you started taking back the trick again and again. Now I will not allow you to take back the trick.’
Then Saint Bunen said smilingly – ‘My brother! You don’t even let me take back my two wrong moves in the game and in real life you think you will keep on making wrong moves and God will always ignore them! Keep in mind-the result of wrong moves is always bad, that’s why we should always do good deeds.’
