एक बार स्वर्ग से घोषणा हुई कि भगवान सेब बाँटने आ रहे हैं, सभी लोग भगवान के प्रसाद के लिए तैयार हो कर लाइन लगाकर खड़े हो गए। एक छोटी बच्ची बहुत उत्सुक थी क्योंकि वह पहली बार भगवान को देखने जा रही थी। एक बड़े और सुंदर सेब के साथ साथ भगवान के दर्शन की कल्पना से ही खुश थी। अंत में प्रतीक्षा समाप्त हुई। बहुत लंबी कतार में जब उसका नम्बर आया तो भगवान ने उसे एक बड़ा और लाल सेब दिया। लेकिन जैसे ही उसने सेब पकड़कर लाइन से बाहर निकली उसका सेब हाथ से छूटकर कीचड़ में गिर गया। बच्ची उदास हो गई। अब उसे दुबारा से लाइन में लगना पड़ेगा। दूसरी लाइन पहली से भी लंबी थी। लेकिन कोई और रास्ता नहीं था। सब लोग ईमानदारी से अपनी बारी-बारी से सेब लेकर जा रहे थे। अन्ततः वह बच्ची फिर से लाइन में लगी और अपनी बारी की प्रतीक्षा करने लगी। आधी क़तार को सेब मिलने के बाद सेब ख़त्म होने लगे। अब तो बच्ची बहुत उदास हो गई। उसने सोचा कि उसकी बारी आने तक तो सब सेब खत्म हो जाएंगे। लेकिन वह ये नहीं जानती थी कि भगवान के भंडार कभी ख़ाली नही होते। जब तक उसकी बारी आई तो और भी नए सेब आ गए । भगवान तो अन्तर्यामी होते हैं।
बच्ची के मन की बात जान गए। उन्होंने इस बार बच्ची को सेब देकर कहा कि पिछली बार वाला सेब एक तरफ से सड़ चुका था। तुम्हारे लिए सही नहीं था इसलिए मैने ही उसे तुम्हारे हाथों गिरवा दिया था। दूसरी तरफ लंबी कतार में तुम्हें इसलिए लगाया क्योंकि नए सेब अभी पेडों पर थे। उनके आने में समय बाकी था। इसलिए तुम्हें अधिक प्रतीक्षा करनी पड़ी। ये सेब अधिक लाल, सुंदर और तुम्हारे लिए उपयुक्त है। भगवान की बात सुनकर बच्ची संतुष्ट हो कर गई। इसी प्रकार यदि आपके किसी काम में बिलम्ब हो रहा है तो उसे भगवान की इच्छा मानकर स्वीकार करें। जिस प्रकार हम अपने बच्चों को उत्तम से उत्तम देने का प्रयास करते हैं। उसी प्रकार भगवान भी अपने बच्चों को वही देंगे जो उनके लिए उत्तम होगा। ईमानदारी से अपनी बारी की प्रतीक्षा करें, और उन परम पिता की कृपा के लिए हर पल हर क्षण उसका गुणगान करें।
Once there was an announcement from heaven that God was coming to distribute apples, everyone stood in line getting ready for God’s prasad. A little girl was very curious as she was going to see God for the first time. She was happy with the idea of seeing God along with a big and beautiful apple. Finally the wait is over. When his number came in a very long queue, God gave him a big and red apple. But as soon as she came out of the line holding the apple, her apple fell into the mud. The girl became sad. Now he has to stand in line again. The second line was longer than the first. But there was no other way. Everyone was honestly taking their apples in turn. Finally, the girl again joined the line and waited for her turn. After half the queue got apples, the apples started running out. Now the girl has become very sad. He thought that by the time his turn came, all the apples would be over. But she did not know that the storehouses of God are never empty. By the time it was his turn, more new apples had arrived. God is antaryami.
Got to know the mind of the girl child. This time he gave the apple to the girl and said that the last apple was rotten from one side. It was not right for you, so I had made him fall in your hands. On the other hand, you were put in a long queue because the new apples were still on the trees. There was still time for him to come. That’s why you had to wait longer. This apple is more red, beautiful and suitable for you. The girl became satisfied after listening to God’s words. Similarly, if there is delay in any of your work, then accept it as God’s will. As we try to give the best to our children. Similarly God will give to his children only what is best for them. Sincerely wait for your turn, and praise every moment for the grace of that Supreme Father.
