परमात्माका वास
एक युवक घर-गृहस्थीसे दुखी होकर अपने परिवारको छोड़कर निकल पड़ा। वह एक महात्माके पास पहुँचा और बोला- ‘मैं अपना परिवार छोड़कर आ गया हूँ। अब मैं माया-मोहके बन्धनमें नहीं फँसना चाहता हूँ। मैं परमात्माकी तलाश करना चाहता हूँ । कृपया मुझे मार्गदर्शन दें।’ इसपर महात्मा क्रोधित होते हुए बोले ‘मूर्ख, परमात्मा तो तेरे घरमें बैठे हुए हैं, जिन्हें तू छोड़कर आ गया है। जबतक तू उनकी सेवा नहींकरेगा, तेरा कल्याण नहीं हो सकता। जा, पहले परिवारको सँभाल, उनके प्रति अपने कर्तव्य पूरे कर। अध्यात्म भगोड़ोंकी नहीं, शूरवीरोंकी मदद करता है। परिवारमें रहते हुए भी तेरी साधना पूरी हो सकती है। यदि त्याग ही करना है, तो अपने भीतरके विकारोंका त्याग कर। बुरे विचारोंका त्याग कर।’
अपने कर्तव्योंसे भागनेसे ईश्वरकी प्राप्ति कदापि नहीं हो सकती।
abode of the divine
A young man left his family after being unhappy with his household. He reached a Mahatma and said – ‘ I have left my family and come here. Now I don’t want to get trapped in the bondage of illusion. I want to seek the divine. Please guide me.’ On this, Mahatma got angry and said, ‘Fool, God is sitting in your house, leaving whom you have come. Unless you serve them, you cannot be well. Go, take care of the family first, fulfill your duties towards them. Spirituality helps the brave, not the fugitives. Your spiritual practice can be completed even while living in the family. If you have to sacrifice, then sacrifice your inner disorders. By giving up bad thoughts.
God can never be attained by running away from one’s duties.
