प्रसन्नताका नुसख़ा
एक संत किसी टीलेपर बैठे सूर्यास्त देख रहे थे। तभी एक सेठजी उनके पास आये। वे पूछने लगे-स्वामीजी! आपके चेहरेपर अत्यधिक प्रसन्नता है। मैं एक धनी व्यक्ति हूँ। सब कुछ है, पर मनमें खुशी नहीं है। उसीकी खोजमें घरसे निकला हूँ। दो साल हो गये, पर प्रसन्नता हासिल नहीं हुई। आप ही बतायें, उसे कहाँ खोजूँ ? संतने एक कागज लिया और उसपर कुछ लिखनेके बाद उनसे कहा मैंने इसमें प्रसन्नताका नुसखा लिख दिया है, लेकिन इसे आप घर जाकर ही पढ़ना। सेठजी घर पहुँचे और बहुत जिज्ञासाके साथ उन्होंने कागज खोला। उसपर लिखा था- ‘जहाँ शान्ति होती है, प्रसन्नता वहाँ खुद चली जाती है। चाहे वह अपना ही मन क्यों न हो?’

recipe for happiness
A saint was sitting on a hill watching the sunset. Only then a Sethji came to him. They started asking – Swamiji! There is immense happiness on your face. I am a rich person. Everything is there, but there is no happiness in the mind. I have left home in search of him. Two years passed, but happiness was not achieved. You tell me, where should I find him? The saint took a piece of paper and after writing something on it told him that I have written a recipe for happiness in it, but you must read it after going home. Sethji reached home and with great curiosity he opened the paper. It was written on it- ‘Where there is peace, happiness automatically goes there. Even if it is his own mind?’
