इस मन का क्या भरोसा ?*

एक संत एक छोटे से आश्रम का संचालन करते थे। एक दिन पास के रास्ते से एक राहगीर को पकड़कर अंदर ले आए और शिष्यों के सामने उससे प्रश्न किया कि यदि तुम्हें सोने की अशर्फियों की थैली रास्ते में पड़ी मिल जाए तो तुम क्या करोगे ?

वह आदमी बोला – “तत्क्षण उसके मालिक का पता लगाकर उसे वापस कर दूंगा अन्यथा राजकोष में जमा करा दूंगा।”

संत हंसे और राहगीर को विदा कर शिष्यों से बोले -” यह आदमी मूर्ख है।”

शिष्य बड़े हैरान कि गुरुजी क्या कह रहे हैं ? इस आदमी ने ठीक ही तो कहा है तथा सभी को ही यह सिखाया गया है कि ऐसे किसी परायी वस्तु को ग्रहण नहीं करना चाहिए।

थोड़ी देर बाद फिर संत किसी दूसरे को अंदर ले आए और उससे भी वही प्रश्न दोहरा दिया।

उस दूसरे राहगीर ने उत्तर दिया कि क्या मुझे निरा मूर्ख समझ रखा है ?, जो स्वर्ण मुद्राएं पड़ी मिलें और मैं लौटाने के लिए मालिक को खोजता फिरूं? तुमने मुझे समझा क्या है ?

वह राहगीर जब चला गया तो संत ने कहा -” यह व्यक्ति शैतान है।

शिष्य बड़े हैरान हुए कि पहला मूर्ख और दूसरा शैतान, फिर गुरुजी चाहते क्या हैं ?

अबकी बार संत तीसरे राहगीर को पकड़कर अंदर ले आए और वही प्रश्न दोहराया।

राहगीर ने बड़ी सज्जनता से उत्तर दिया–” महाराज! अभी तो कहना बड़ा मुश्किल है।इस मन का क्या भरोसा, कब धोखा दे जाए ? एक क्षण की खबर नहीं। यदि परमात्मा की कृपा रही और सद्बुद्धि बनी रही तो लौटा दूंगा।” संत बोले -

” यह आदमी सच्चा है। इसने अपनी डोर परमात्मा को सौंप रखी है। ऐसे व्यक्तियों द्वारा कभी गलत निर्णय नहीं होता।

ज्येष्ठ पांडव, सूर्यपुत्र कर्ण कर्म, धर्म का ज्ञाता, क्या कारण था की अपने छोटे भाई अर्जुन से हार गया जबकि कर्म और धर्म दोनों में वो अर्जुन से श्रेष्ठ था। कारण था कि अर्जुन ने अपनी घर से निकलने से पहले ही अपनी जीवन रथ की डोरी,भगवान श्री कृष्ण के हाथ में दे दी थी।

आपको हमें भी इसी प्रकार अपने मन तथा जीवन की डोर प्रभु के हाथ में दे देनी चाहिए।

विश्वास कीजिए जितने भी उतार-चढ़ाव आएंगे जीवन में लेश मात्र भी अंतर नहीं पड़ेगा इसीलिए सदैव कहता हूँ कि जो प्राप्त है-पर्याप्त है!!

A saint used to run a small ashram. One day caught a passer-by from a nearby road and brought him inside and asked him in front of the disciples that what would you do if you found a bag of gold coins lying on the way?

The man said – “I will immediately find out its owner and return it, otherwise I will deposit it in the treasury.”

The saint laughed and saying goodbye to the traveler said to the disciples – “This man is a fool.”

The disciples are very surprised that what is Guruji saying? This man has rightly said and everyone has been taught that such a foreign thing should not be accepted.

After some time, the saint again brought someone else inside and repeated the same question to him.

That other passer-by replied that have you considered me a complete fool? When I find gold coins lying around and I keep searching for the owner to return them? what do you understand me

When that traveler left, the saint said – “This person is a devil.

The disciples were very surprised that the first is a fool and the second is a devil, then what does Guruji want?

This time the saint caught the third passenger and brought him inside and repeated the same question.

The passer-by replied very politely –” Maharaj! It is very difficult to say now. What is the trust of this mind, when will it deceive? Not a moment’s news. If God’s grace is there and good sense remains, I will return it.” Saint said –

“This man is truthful. He has handed over his door to God. There is never a wrong decision by such persons.

The eldest Pandava, Suryaputra Karna, the knower of Karma, Dharma, what was the reason why he was defeated by his younger brother Arjuna when he was superior to Arjuna in both Karma and Dharma. The reason was that even before leaving his home, Arjun had given the rope of his chariot of life in the hands of Lord Shri Krishna.

In the same way, you should also give the string of your mind and life in the hands of the Lord.

Believe me, no matter how many ups and downs will come, there will be no difference in life, that’s why I always say that whatever is available is enough!!
