श्रीजीव गोस्वामीजीके समयकी बात है। उनके प्रेमी एक महात्मा कदमखंडीमें बैठे श्रीराधा-माधवकी मधुर लीलाका ध्यान कर रहे थे।
उनको दिखायी दिया कि श्रीप्रियाजी एक वृक्षकी शाखापर लगे हुए मनोहर पुष्पको तोड़ना चाहती हैं, किंतु शाखा ऊँची होनेसे वहाँतक उनका हाथ पहुँचता नहीं।
उनको उदासदेखकर श्रीश्यामसुन्दरने उन्हें अपने कंधेपर चढ़ा लिया और श्रीजीको वह शाखा पकड़ा दी। श्रीजी पुष्प तोड़नेका उपक्रम करने लगीं।
विनोदप्रिय श्रीश्यामसुन्दरने जब देखा कि श्रीजीने शाखा पकड़ ली है तो आप तुरंत हट गये। श्रीप्रियाजी शाखामें लटककर झूलने लगीं। यह देखकर ध्यानस्थ महात्मा जोरसे हँस पड़े।
It is a matter of Shrijiv Goswamiji’s time. Her lover a Mahatma sitting in Kadamkhandi was meditating on the sweet pastimes of Shriradha-Madhav. It appeared to him that Shripriyaji wanted to pluck the beautiful flower attached to the branch of a tree, but because of the height of the branch, his hand could not reach there. Seeing him sad, Shree Shyamsundar put him on his shoulder and handed over the branch to Shreeji. Shreeji started doing the work of plucking flowers. Vinodpriya Shree Shyamsundar immediately moved away when he saw that Shreeji had caught hold of the branch. Shripriyaji started swinging hanging from the branch. Seeing this, the meditative Mahatma laughed out loud.
