आधुनिक समय में जब सम्बंध धुधंलाते जा रहे हैं, ऐसे में भाई-बहन के पवित्र सम्बंध को मजबूत प्रेम पूर्ण आधार देता है..रक्षाबंधन पर्व। इस पर्व का आध्यात्मिक, ऐतिहासिक, सामाजिक, धार्मिक और राष्टीय महत्व भी है। यह भाई एवं बहन के भावनात्मक संबंधों का प्रतीक पर्व है।
इस दिन बहन भाई की कलाई पर राखी/रेशम का धागा बांधती है तथा उसके दीर्घायु जीवन एवं सुरक्षा की कामना करती है। बहन के इस स्नेह बंधन से बंधकर भाई उसकी रक्षा के लिए कृत संकल्प होता है।
आजकल राखी बांधना सिर्फ भाई-बहन के बीच का कार्यकलाप ही नहीं रह गया है अपितु अब राखी देश की रक्षा, पर्यावरण की रक्षा, धर्म की रक्षा, हितों की रक्षा आदि के लिए भी बांधी जाने लगी है। हालांकि रक्षा सूत्र सम्मान और आस्था प्रकट करने के लिए भी बांधा जाता है।
रक्षाबंधन का महत्व आज के समय में इसलिए भी बढ़ जाता है, क्योंकि आज मूल्यों के क्षरण के कारण सामाजिकता सिमटती जा रही है और प्रेम व सम्मान की भावना में भी कमी आ रही है। यह पर्व आत्मीय बंधन को मजबूती प्रदान करने के साथ-साथ हमारे भीतर सामाजिकता का विकास भी करता है। वास्तव में ही हमारे पर्व महान हैं, जो जीवन की नीरसता को दूर कर, सम्बन्धों में छाती उदासीनता को मिटा कर एक नव स्फूर्ति तथा उमंग का संचार ही करते हैं।
मनभावन क्षण लाती राखी।
अटूट-प्रेम का भाव धागे से।
हर घर में बिखराती राखी।
सारे जग की मूल्यवान।
चीजों से बढकर भाती राखी।
सदा बहन की रक्षा करना।
भाई को बतलाती राखी।।
ॐ येन बद्धो बली राजा दानवेन्द्रो महाबल:।
तेन त्वामपि बध्नामि रक्षे मा चल मा चल।।
अर्थ
जिस रक्षासूत्र से महान शक्तिशाली राजा बलि को बांधा गया था, उसी सूत्र से मैं तुम्हें बांधता हूं। हे रक्षे (राखी), तुम अडिग रहना। अपने रक्षा के संकल्प से कभी भी विचलित मत होना।जय श्री राम 🙏

On this day sister ties rakhi/silk thread on brother’s wrist and prays for his long life and protection. Bonded by this affectionate bond of sister, the brother is determined to protect her.
Nowadays, tying Rakhi is not only an activity between brother and sister, but now Rakhi is also being tied for the protection of the country, protection of environment, protection of religion, protection of interests etc. However, the Raksha Sutra is also tied to show respect and faith.
The importance of Rakshabandhan also increases in today’s time because today due to erosion of values, sociality is shrinking and the feeling of love and respect is also decreasing. This festival strengthens the intimate bond as well as develops sociality within us.
