पद्मपुराण में एक प्रसंगंग है जब भगवान वाराह और हिरण्याक्ष का युद्ध हो रहा था तब भगवान नारायण के बार बार कोशिश करने पर भी जब हिरण्याक्ष नहीं मर रहा थातब भगवान ब्रह्मा जी ने भगवान नारायण से पूछा हे प्रभु यह असुर तो आपकी दृष्टि मात्र से मरना चाहिए ऐसा क्यों हो रहा है कि आप इसे मार नहीं पा रहे हैं ।
तब भगवान जी बोले ब्रह्मा जी शुक्राचार्य की माया से मोहित होने से कुछ ब्राह्मण दशमी युक्ता एकादशी का व्रत कर रहे हैं ।
क्योंकि दशमी के दिन दैत्यों की उत्पत्ति हुई थी और एकादशी के दिन देवताओं की उत्पत्ति हुई थी इसीलिए दशमी को व्रत करने से दैत्यों का बल बढ़ता है और एकादशी को व्रत करने से देवताओं का बल बढ़ता है ब्राह्मणों के दशमी विद्धा एकादशी का व्रत करने से दैत्य का बल बढ़ रहा है और यह मर नहीं रहा है ।
जो मनुष्य दशमी युक्ता एकादशी का व्रत करता है उसके अंदर आसुरी शक्ति बढ़ती है ।
कलियुग में सब लोग मोहित हो कर दशमी विद्धा एकादशी का , व्रत करेंगे इसीलिए दुनिया में अशांति बनी रहेगी।
जब सीता जी को लक्ष्मण जी वाल्मीकि ऋषि के आश्रम में छोड़ कर आए थे तब सीता जी ने वाल्मीकि ऋषि से पूछा कि हे ऋषिवर मैंने जीवन में कभी पाप नहीं किया पतिव्रता रही पति की सेवा की फिर भी मेरे जीवन में इतने सारे कष्ट क्यों आए तब बाल्मीकि जी ने सीता जी को जवाब दिया था कि आपने कभी पूर्व जन्म में दशमी विद्धा एकादशी का व्रत किया था उसी दिन भगवान की पूजा की थी उससे पुण्य नहीं पाप पड़े उसी का परिणाम है कि आपको यह कष्ट झेलना पड़ा ।
पुराणों में लिखा है कि दशमी विद्धा एकादशी का व्रत करने से धन और पुत्र का विनाश होता है ।
इस बार जून 10 तको निर्जला एकादशी दशमी विद्धा अशुद्ध आसुरी शक्ति को बढ़ाने वाली है इसीलिए उस दिन एकादशी का व्रत कदापि शास्त्र सम्मत नहीं है इसलिए सभी को एकादशी 11 तारीख शनिवार को करना चाहिए पुराणों में स्पष्ट मत मिलता है कि अगर दशमी विद्धा एकादशी हो दूसरे दिन सूर्योदय से पहले एकादशी समाप्त हो रही हो तो द्वादशी के दिन एकादशी का व्रत करके त्रयोदशी को पारण करना चाहिए ।

Why is it happening that you are not able to kill it. Then Lord ji said that some brahmins are fasting on Dashami Yukta Ekadashi due to being fascinated by the illusion of Lord Shukracharya.
Because the demons were born on the day of Dashami and the gods were born on the day of Ekadashi, therefore fasting on Dashami increases the strength of the demons and fasting on Ekadashi increases the strength of the gods. Its force is increasing and it is not dying.
The demonic power increases in a person who observes the Dashami Yukta Ekadashi fast. In Kaliyuga, everyone will be fascinated and fast on Dashami Vidya Ekadashi, that is why there will be unrest in the world.
When Sita ji was left by Lakshman ji in Valmiki’s ashram, Sita ji asked Valmiki sage that O sage, I have never sinned in my life and served my husband by being virtuous, yet why did so many troubles come in my life then. Valmiki ji had replied to Sita ji that you had ever fasted on Dashami Vidya Ekadashi in your previous birth and worshiped God on the same day, it did not cause any merit and sin, as a result of that you had to suffer this suffering. It is written in the Puranas that fasting on Dashami Vidya Ekadashi leads to destruction of wealth and sons. This time on June 10, Nirjala Ekadashi is going to increase the tenacity of impure demonic power, that is why the fast of Ekadashi is never scriptural on that day, so everyone should do Ekadashi on 11th Saturday, there is a clear opinion in the Puranas that if Dashami is Vidya Ekadashi, then others If Ekadashi is ending before sunrise, then on the day of Dwadashi, fasting on Ekadashi should be done on Trayodashi.
