भक्तापराध

एक बार भक्त श्रीरूपगोस्वामीजी ध्यानमें यह झाँकी
कर रहे थे कि श्रीराधाजी तथा भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण खड़े
हैं और आपसमें एक दूसरेके मुँहमें पान खिला रहे हैं। उसी समय श्रीरूपगोस्वामीजीकी बड़ी ख्याति सुनकर एक गरीब ब्राह्मण वहाँ आ पहुँचा। गोस्वामीजी अपने ध्यानमें तन्मय थे। वे उससे कुछ नहीं बोले । यह देखकर उसके मनमें बहुत दुःख हुआ तथा वह गरीबभक्त यह सोचकर चला गया कि मुझ गरीबसे कौन बोलता है। उस भक्तके दुखी होकर जाते ही श्रीगोस्वामीजीके अन्तस्तलसे भगवान् अन्तर्हित हो गये। उसके बाद उनके मनमें ऐसा लगा मानो कोई कह रहा है कि ‘तुमने भक्तका अपराध किया है।’ उन्होंने उस भक्तका पता लगाकर जब उससे क्षमा माँगी, तभी उन्हें फिर भगवद्दर्शन हुए। सचमुच भक्त भगवान् से भी बढ़कर है।

Once devotee Shri Rupgoswamiji had this tableau in meditation
Were saying that Shriradhaji and Lord Shri Krishna were standing
and are feeding betel leaves to each other. At the same time a poor Brahmin reached there after hearing the great fame of Shri Rup Goswamiji. Goswamiji was engrossed in his meditation. They didn’t say anything to him. Seeing this, he felt very sad and that poor devotee went away thinking that who speaks to me poor. As soon as that devotee left sad, God disappeared from Shri Goswamiji’s end. After that he felt as if someone is saying that ‘you have committed a crime of a devotee’. After finding out that devotee, when he apologized to him, only then he saw God again. Truly the devotee is greater than God.
