श्रीकृष्ण का क्रुद्ध स्वरूप उन्होंने देखा और भयभीत स्तब्ध रह गयीं। पता नहीं, उनके भाई का ये क्या करेंगे। बहुत आशंका किन्तु बोलने का साहस नहीं रह गया। रुक्मी का रथ आगे निकल गया है बचकर।श्रीसंकर्षण ने राजाओं से युद्ध में लगे रहने पर भी यह देख लिया। एकाकी रुक्मी का रथ- उसकी सेना को यादव वीरों ने घेर लिया था। अकेला रुक्मी भला श्रीकृष्ण का क्या कर लेगा किन्तु राजाओं को पराजय देकर, उनके भागते ही बलराम जी ने अपना रथ बढ़ा दिया। ‘छिः! यह क्या किया तुमने? कहीं अपने सम्बन्धी स्वजनों का ऐसा अपमान किया जाता है? सुहृद को कुरूप करना तो उसके वध के समान है।’ रुक्मी को रथ में बाँधकर श्रीकृष्ण चलने वाले ही थे कि अग्रज का रथ आ गया। वे रथ से उतरे और छोटे भाई को स्नेह से झिड़कते हुए रुक्मी को खोलने लगे- ‘यह तुमने अच्छा नहीं किया श्रीकृष्ण ऐसा नहीं करना था तुम्हें क्या हुआ जो ये क्रोध में युद्ध करने आ गये। अन्ततः अब हमारे सम्बन्धी हो गये हैं ये।’
रुक्मी को बन्धन मुक्त कर दिया। वह मस्तक झुकाये लौट पड़ा। एक शब्द नहीं बोला वह। अब बोलने को रहा भी क्या था। श्रीकृष्णचन्द्र भी सिर झुकाये बड़े भाई की झिड़की सुनते रहे।
‘वधू तुम कुछ दूसरा मत समझना’ रुक्मिणी की ओर देखे बिना ही उन नीलाम्बर धारी ने कहा- ‘क्षत्रियों का धर्म ही बड़ा निष्करुण है। युद्ध में सम्मुख आने पर भाई भी भाई को मार देता है। इसमें जो कुछ हुआ- उसे भूल जाओ।’ रुक्मिणी जी संकोच से सिकुड़ गयी थीं- ‘अग्रज इतने स्नेहमय हैं और ये इतना सम्मान करते हैं जगदीश्वर होकर भी बड़े भाई का’ इस शील-स्नेह ने उनको आश्वस्त किया, आप्लावित किया। श्रीसंकर्षण के संकेत पर दारुक ने रथ बढ़ा दिया। यादव महारथियों के रथ बढ़े आ रहे थे। अनन्त पराक्रम भगवान संकर्षण संरक्षक बने साथ चल रहे थे और अब शत्रु थे ही कहाँ। अब तो वह वाद्यों का तुमुल नाद करती बारात वधू को लेकर लौट रही थी।
रुक्मी को कुछ दूर ही पैदल चलना पड़ा। श्रुतर्वा अपना रथ बढ़ा लाया। उसने आग्रह करके रुक्मी को रथ में बैठाया- ‘आपकी ही राजधानी है मेरा नगर भी आपको कुण्डिनपुर नहीं जाना तो वहाँ पधारें’ रुक्मी उसके साथ उसके नगर में गया। दूसरे ही दिन उपयुक्त स्थान ढूँढ़कर उसने नवीन नगर की नींव डाली। उस नगर का नाम रखा गया भोजकटपुर। रुक्मी अपनी राजधानी इसे बनाकर दक्षिणात्य प्रदेश का शासन करने लगा। उसके पिता महाराज भीष्मक और शेष भाई कुण्डिनपुर में ही रहे। शिशुपाल तथा साथियों को लेकर मगधराज लौट चुका था।
विदर्भ में कोई भी खिन्न नहीं था। महाराज भीष्मक को चिंता थी किन्तु रुक्मी के बच जाने से वे संतुष्ट हो गये थे। वहाँ उत्सव मनाया जा रहा था मानों उन्होंने कन्या-दान ही किया हो। द्वारिका में श्रीकृष्ण का विवाहोत्सव इस रुक्मिणी-कल्याण महोत्सव का वर्णन सम्भव नहीं है।

उपासना नैष्ठिकी हो, प्रेमपूर्णा हो तो वह उपासक को उपास्य के समीप ला देती है। उपास्य से अभिन्न कर देती है। जीविका सोचना उचित ही है कि वह सर्वात्मा का अंश, उनका दास है किन्तु सर्वेश्वर की वाणी श्रुति तो ‘द्वा सुपर्णा सयुजा सखायौ’ कहती है।
सत्राजित द्वारिका में प्रख्यात सूर्योपासक थे। उनकी अनन्य निष्ठा, सतत, आराधना, दृढ़भक्ति ने उन्हें भगवान आदित्य का सखा बना दिया। पृथ्वी पर रहने वाला मनुष्य आदित्य मण्डलाधिदेव का मित्र- बात समझ में आना कठिन है किन्तु भक्ति हो तो दूर कहाँ रहती है। निखिल ब्रह्माण्ड नायक प्रेमपरवश जब मानव का पुत्र, मित्र, सेवक तक बन सकता है तो सूर्याधिदेव आराधना से मित्र क्यों नहीं बन सकते।
सत्राजित के लिये भगवान सूर्य दूर नहीं थे। उन्हें लगता कि वे शशिवर्ण, चतुर्भुज नारायण उपासना के समय समीप उतर आते हैं, बातें करते हैं, पूजा स्वीकार करते हैं। यह केवल सत्राजित की कल्पना नहीं थी। भगवान भास्कर उन पर प्रसन्न थे, उन्होंने सत्राजित को एक दिन आग्रह करके अपने प्रेमोपहार के रूप में स्यमंतक मणि देते हुए कहा- ‘इसे मेरा स्वरूप ही समझना। इसकी पूजा करना। जहाँ यह मणि सपूजित रहेगी, उस प्रदेश में कोई महामारी, कोई अरिष्ट नहीं आवेगा। इससे आठ भार स्वर्ण प्रतिदिन प्रकट होगा। लेकिन इसे सपूजित- सावधानी से पवित्रता से ही रखना’ – सत्राजित ने आदरपूर्वक आराध्य का प्रसाद मानकर मणि लिया और उसे कण्ठ में बाँध लिया। अरुणोदयकालीन सूर्य के समान ज्योतिर्मयी उस मणि को कण्ठ में बाँधकर सत्राजित जब नगर में लौटने लगे, लोगों ने समझा कि साक्षात भगवान सूर्य धरा पर उतर आये हैं।
‘देवदेवेश्वर निखिल लोकाराध्य श्रीद्वारिकानाथ! आपका दर्शन करने भगवान सूर्य आ रहे हैं’- बहुत से युवक एक साथ दौड़े आये और उन्होंने श्रीकृष्णचन्द्र से कहा- ‘आप शंख, चक्र, गदाधारी साक्षात नारायण हैं। मनुष्यों में मनुष्य बनकर हम यादवों में छिपे हैं किन्तु लोक के नेत्राधिदेवता ने आपको पहिचान लिया है।सूर्यदेव कितना भी अपने तेज को कम करें, कितने भी सौम्य बनें- कहाँ तक बनेंगे। वे द्वारिकाधीश के दर्शनार्थ आ रहे हैं तो उनके नगर में आने से किसी अनर्थ की आशंका तो नहीं है किन्तु उनका कुछ स्वागत भी तो होना चाहिये।
‘ये देव आदित्य नहीं है’ श्रीकृष्णचन्द्र ने हँसकर कहा- ‘ये सूर्यदेव के भक्त सत्राजित हैं।

She saw the angry form of Shri Krishna and was stunned with fear. Don’t know, what will he do to his brother. There was a lot of apprehension but did not have the courage to speak. Rukmi’s chariot has passed ahead safely. Sreesankarshan saw this even though he was engaged in a war with the kings. The chariot of the lonely Rukmi – his army was surrounded by the Yadav heroes. What can Rukmi alone do to Shri Krishna, but after defeating the kings, Balram ji increased his chariot as soon as they ran away. ‘Shh! What did you do? Somewhere our relatives are insulted like this? To make a friend ugly is like killing him.’ Shri Krishna was about to walk after tying Rukmi to the chariot when the elder’s chariot arrived. He got down from the chariot and reprimanded the younger brother affectionately and started opening Rukmi – ‘You did not do well, Shri Krishna, you did not want to do this, what happened to you that you came to fight in anger. At last they have become our relatives.’
Rukmi was freed from bondage. He returned with his head bowed. He didn’t say a word. Now what was left to say. Shrikrishna Chandra also kept listening to the scolding of his elder brother with his head bowed.
‘Bride, don’t think anything else’ without looking at Rukmini, that Nilambar Dhari said – ‘The religion of the Kshatriyas is very selfless. Brother also kills brother when he comes face to face in battle. Whatever happened in it – forget it. Rukmini ji shrank shyly – ‘The elders are so affectionate and they respect the elder brother so much even though he is Jagdishwar’ This modesty-affection reassured her, inspired her. On the signal of Shrisankarshan, Daruk increased the chariot. The chariots of the Yadav maharathis were moving forward. Lord Sankarshana, the infinite power, was walking along as the protector and now where were the enemies. Now she was returning with the bride in the procession making the sound of instruments.
Rukmi had to walk some distance. Shrutarva brought his chariot. He urged Rukmi to sit in the chariot- ‘Your capital is also my city, if you don’t want to go to Kundinpur then come there’ Rukmi went with him to his city. Finding a suitable place the very next day, he laid the foundation of the new city. That city was named Bhojkatpur. Rukmi started ruling the southern region by making it his capital. His father Maharaj Bhishmak and the rest of the brothers remained in Kundinpur. Magadharaj had returned with Shishupala and his companions.
No one was upset in Vidarbha. Maharaj Bhishmak was worried but he was satisfied as Rukmi was saved. There the festival was being celebrated as if he had done a daughter-in-law. Marriage festival of Shri Krishna in Dwarka It is not possible to describe this Rukmini-Kalyan Mahotsav.
If worship is faithful, full of love, it brings the worshiper closer to the worshipped. makes it integral with the worshipped. It is right to think that he is a part of the Supreme Soul, His servant, but the voice of the Supreme Lord says, ‘Dva Suparna Sayuja Sakhayo’
Satrajit was a famous sun worshiper in Dwarka. His unflinching loyalty, constant worship, steadfast devotion made him a friend of Lord Aditya. Friend of Aditya Mandaladhidev, a man living on earth – It is difficult to understand, but if there is devotion, then where does it stay away. When Nikhil Brahmand Nayak can even become a son, friend, servant of man because of love, then why can’t Suryadhidev become a friend by worshiping him.
Lord Surya was not far away for Satrajit. They used to think that they come near Shashivarna, Chaturbhuj Narayan at the time of worship, talk, accept worship. This was not just the imagination of Satrajit. Lord Bhaskar was pleased with him, he requested Satrajit one day and gave Syamantaka Mani as his love gift and said- ‘Consider this as my form. To worship it Where this gem will be worshipped, there will be no epidemic, no evil in that state. This will reveal eight loads of gold daily. But keep it carefully and sacredly’ – Satrajit respectfully accepted the gem as an offering to the deity and tied it around his neck. When Satrajit started returning to the city after tying that precious stone around his neck like the rising sun, people thought that Lord Surya had actually descended on the earth.
‘ Devdeveshwar Nikhil Lokaradhya Sridwarikanath! Lord Surya is coming to visit you’ – Many youths came running together and said to Shri Krishna Chandra – ‘You are the real Narayan of conch, chakra, mace. Being human among humans, we are hidden among the Yadavas, but the eye-god of the world has recognized you. No matter how much the Sun God reduces his glory, no matter how gentle he becomes – to what extent will he become. They are coming to visit Dwarkadhish, so there is no possibility of any disaster if they come to the city, but they should be welcomed.
‘This god is not Aditya’ Shri Krishna Chandra laughed and said- ‘He is Satrajit, a devotee of Suryadev.
